Solo in fumetteria!

A weird blend of chapters. The end of blonde era kira and start of highlights kira, floating polaroid picture ghost dad creating new stands with enyaba’s arrow from part 3, six parts too many of rosham boy, and the introduction of the alien who morphs into a pair of mizuno trainers to bookend the volume.
with the introduction of kira finally i did feel a little peeved that other antics are still going on, not so much with the alien but with other stuff i know i’m gonna see soon, but still enjoyable! although i AM mad that hot blonde kira was so short lived
When I first heard of this series I just figured aliens were a part of it. The fact that I’ve read 17 volumes (with some heft might I add) and the aliens didn’t show up until this one taught me a good lesson about jumping to conclusions. When has jumping to conclusions impacted your life? Leave a comment below!
Motto of the year is “Top condition! No one can stop me.” Kira is a baddie in every sense of the word, I fear. Okuyasu is a little bit stupid, but what is new! I will say that seeing Kira escape from under their fingertips is so horrible ughhhh. Rock paper scissors antics were actually more enjoyable in the manga than anime, imo, maybe because it didn’t drag on for quite as long. Alien always hits though, truly an icon. Also yay more invisible baby! Love her. Honestly no notes.
This one was wild, we got more plot stuff with the serial killer, an epic game of rock paper scissors and even an alien?? This series is so weird and I love it.
Every time I read JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure I’m blown away with how good it is. Before reading the manga it was already one of my favourite series, but the books have solidified my love and provided a great refresher for some of the bits I didn’t remember. Volume six has a major focus on the Part 4 antagonist and efficiently conveys just how awful the bad guy is. It also features one of the most nerve wracking bouts of Rock Papar Scissors I’ve ever witnessed. Literally anything could happen in these books making for an immensely entertaining ride! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
This was an absolute BANGER of a volume!!! The first half is the latter half of the Sheer Heart Attack fight, which is GREAT because it has Jotaro being a badass and NO dumb dumb Koichi shenanigans other than him getting his shit kicked in by Kira. Plus, while it is a TRADGEDY that they stole hot blonde Kira away from us so soon and left us with less cool looking new Kira, the whole Kira switching his identiy deal was always a really fun plot twist to me. I will say that it probably would have been a BIT better if cinderella had come earlier in the story, so the reveal would have been more set up, I think it still works.
All the content after this just keeps up the energy as well - the rock paper sissors fight has always been a classic to me, as a well executed spiritual child of the D'Arby fights from part 3. Not to mention it gives us an official assist win for INVISIBLE BABY herself. And after that, we get Hayato introduced as the classic parent peeper, and Mikitaka's introduction as well! This volume really dug deep for the highest quality supporting characters in the part with those three, although Hayato's value doesn't end up really shining until later. I think the best part is really just that the series manages to keep some of that more lighthearted spunk with it even after the Kira arc gets in full swing, and as someone who really enjoyed the first half of the part (which not everyone does) I do really appreciate that!
Quote of the Volume:
"Good grief. I take back what I said about this watch. It's ugly. But that's the least of your worries now... Because I'm going to make it even uglier. And by "it," I mean your face ... ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"

I took like 2-3 weeks off Jojo’s kinda on accident. Work was busy, vacation, read some other stuff. So it was awesome to return to such a high point with Kira finally having an encounter with Jotaro and Koichi. They’re a fun duo and Kira/Killer Queen live up to the hype. Kira’s an awesome villain and he steals the show. Can’t wait for more of him in his new body. Shame sexy blonde Patrick Batemen Kira was so short-lived.
Then things go the normal Jojo route - slow down for some more episodic storytelling. I have mixed feelings. I really do enjoy all of it. Jojo’s episodic bits are still a great deal of fun, never boring. If anything, they sometimes run a bit longer than needed, maybe just a chapter or two, but they’re packed with good stuff and merit the 5-6 chapters they often get. My only beef is that they lose a little luster next to the big overall plot. I get Kira’s hiding and letting the heat die, I get that takes time. Still, at this point I want the main story and not Roshambo with a little street boy. I say that as a certified Rohan glazer. I love Rohan and I enjoyed the Roshambo story - felt very D’Arby vs Jotaro. Maybe it’s just inherent that nothing is gonna compete following the Killer Queen and Heart Attack vs Star Platinum and Reverb Act 3 battle.
Nevertheless, even the worst chapters here are still really good, and I’m enjoying it. Happy to see Josukuyasu back on the pages. They them boys fr. 💜
Well I guess it was only a matter of time before we got aliens in this series. I'm not totally convinced that they are actual aliens rather than some form of Stand or their user but still the bizarreness continues. This volumes continues to follow the serial killer Kira who looks like he might have finally bitten off more than he can chew. We find out why there might be more Stand users around the city that we expected (at this rather there's going to be no none Stand users left). I wasn't a big fan of the newly created Stand user although the action scenes between him and Rohan was amazingly energetic especially when you consider what they were actually doing. I think the best part of this volume was when they searched the killers house and what they found there. Stands, ghosts and now aliens what will we get next? It literally could be anything at this stage. One thing's for sure it'll be bizarre.
seeing all this again reminds me of just how fucking funny this series is and i appreciate it so much, even the sheer heart attack fight which stressed me out sm the first time i watched it had me dying so often this time around... jotaro saying "that's a nice watch, it's a shame im going to break it... and by watch i mean your face !!!" comedy gold
and who can forget my favorite fight in jojo thus far though i am biased 🙈 rohan did it for all of us when he beat the fuck out of that kid in rock paper scissors
Part 4 is really starting to grow on me! This was a really good volume. After nearly killing Koichi and Jotaro, Kira uses Aya's power to switch bodies and get a new identity so he can hide from Josuke and the others. He gets a son and wife, who ends up falling for this new version of her husband. Kira’s father tries to kill anyone who goes after his son and he’s very creepy! Rohan almost loses Heaven's Door to an 11-year-old over rock, paper, scissors. An alien named Mikitaka lands in town and I really hope he's not evil because I like him. That ice cream looked good! My favorite volume yet.
This volume starts with the latter, and better, half of the Sheer Heart Attack fight. This fight is so good, there’s a palpable danger and so many cool moments. Atom Heart Father is a fine fight, a bit of a let down after Sheer Heart Attack. But I don’t mind that too much, it’s interesting and fun. Rashambo Boy is a much better fight than I remembered. The over-the-top throws and clever one-ups are entertaining as hell.
- mad respect for koichi. - i like that there are more ghosts in this part - of course there's more than one set or how could the story progree? - i have to understand the fingernails secret - you're trying to prove that women can't resist criminal bad boys, but she's just bored, man. - that kid got on my nerves as well - the most dramatic rock, paper, scissors fight! - the old man with the bow and arrow willy-nilly making stands is also getting on my nerves - aliens too? let's goo!!
Koichi finally meets Kira the serial killer they have all been looking for. He takes a beating so Jotaro can recover. Kira escapes and gets away with a different face. Rohan meets a strange kid who wants to play roshambo. The kid is a stand user and almost takes Heaven's Door from Rohan but Rohan beats him at Roshambo. Josuke and Okuyasu meet a strange fellow who claims to be an alien.

I love the sections with Shinobu and Kira and Mikitaka! Mikitaka is one of my favorites.
The rock paper scissors boy was easily the worst part of the anime for me, but this time around I was alright with it. Still not my favorite, but it didn't make me want to rip my hair out.
I am loving part 4 more and more after every volume! It is gold!!! The characters never fail to make me laugh.
The last 2 chapters of this volume was making me burst out loud with laughter.... I can’t wait to see where this goes!!!!! Josuke and Okuyasu are gold together!!!
i love this one so much. finally we are locking in. good cast of characters. that rock paper scissors kid is literally me. i would have that stand i know it. would've been a 5 star but it didn't drive me to tears and also there was way too much koichi. i HATE koichi

EXCELENTE. El monólogo e introducción de Kira hacen que este volumen sea una maravilla. La resolución del arco de Shigeki está bien, y el segundo arco de Yukako me encanta.
Fantastic Volume! I loved seeing Kira take an absolute beating from Jotaro! :p I really had so much fun seeing Kira in this, I love him 🫣 Highly recommend, Part 4 is the best!! Lolol
