Retired Sheriff Dan Miller thought life was pretty good until he was attacked by a man bent on using him against the Wilde Wolf Pack. When he's made into a shifter to save his life, he discovers that the world he knew as a human was nothing compared to that of a wolf. He just can't seem to figure out how to shift.
Lion shifter Sean is running for his life. More importantly, he's running to save the lives of the two small children he has stolen from his alpha. When he stumbles across the Wilde Wolf Pack, he finds more than he ever expected. A pack, safety, and his mate. He's just afraid to trust it.
When the evil hunting him arrives at the gates of Belle Grove, Sean knows time has run out. Learning to trust those around him isn't easy when he's never had that before, but fighting for his mate and those in the pack just might be worth the battle to come.
Rating: 4 stars I was looking forward to Dan’s story and this one didn’t disappoint. I really loved how loving he was with Sean and the children. I have to say though that my favorite part of this series is Belle Grove. It’s wonderful that the house and grounds are just as much a character as all the shifters that reside there. This one ended in a cliffhanger and left many dangling plot points so I’m really looking forward to getting some answers in the next installment.
Overall, this was a very good story and I loved the mating between Dan and Sean. However, there's just a bit too much grief and torture in this series for me. It seemed as though if they went anywhere outside of the house (which had a beautiful life of it's own mind you) something terrible was bound to happen. It also ends on a cliffhanger but the characters are very fascinating. It was suspenseful and Iren was as cute as always.
The Wilde pack continues to build as does the story with each book.
Sean has run from Alpha Boddie and taken two children with him to save them. He lands in Belle Grove and Dan stuck in his new shifter form sticks close to them. I love how easy Dan accepted that even though he had only even been with his wife he didn't fight his attraction to Sean and wanting to raise the kids with him.
This does end on a cliffhanger and I have so many questions.
Love the third installment of the Bellegrove pack can’t wait until the fourth book comes out such a rich characters and such good storylines can’t wait for more
This was much better as to the execution of the story. The flow was more consistent and the transitions were smoother. There were still some editing issues, but overall a much better delivery. The storyline was fun if not exciting and this time support characters were developed a bit more. The house moved into a strong character role, which was also fun if a bit mystifying.
