As a Texas mama and U.S. Air Force wife, S.L. didn’t start writing until her husband retired and, upon entering her fifties, she decided it was time to chase the dream (not running a marathon, but writing).
She released her first novel, Mark of Orion, in October 2019. Her second book, Light of Orion, released in July 2020. The last book of the trilogy, Hunt for Orion, was released on May 17, 2023. When not writing, S.L. can be found cooking, gardening, going to Houston Astros baseball games, and walking her German Shepherd (or maybe he walks her).
She lives in Texas with her incredible husband and is blessed with four amazing children.

Right up my alley!
I loved the characters and the zeal they have for God and fighting the good fight. The action is superb the plot and feel was spot on!

Such a fabulous read! I absolutely love the character development in these books. Not only are the 3 guardians of Orion faced with protecting the human race from hells fury but they have to deal with normal teenage hopes & fears like falling in love & forgiveness.
I will say I was in shock at the end of the book I didn’t expect for the scene to play out the way it did but I’m sure glad it did! Excited to start the third book & see where their journey takes them!

This series continues to keep you on your toes. There are so many story lines among the characters bringing the reader closer to the answers behind the plot! I couldn’t put the book down. Can’t wait to read book three!
