Suspenseful!
The author begins with the intriguing circumstances of a poor orphan turned millionaire once he is an adult, and what leads to his future adoption of an orphaned girl he takes on as his daughter. The story is interesting enough with just this beginning, but a series of events turns the story into a thriller that keeps the readers interest and gives the reader a desire to read on.
