Lots of very practical ideas to teach kids how to read math. As a math teacher, I know how easy it is to use the text purely as a source of exercises. This book gave very practical strategies to help kids learn how to read math texts (which are quite different from virtually any other type of expository text) - a skill that will definitely help them when they get to college (or now, when they're absent).
I checked it out from the library, but just may need to get a copy of my own.
