Another great story by Peter Thomson.
Another Tale of the Wild, the setting is a realistic mix of societies within a world with working magic, though it takes hard work to use it well.
This tale follows two sisters, following their dealings with high authority, having survived a raid on the sanctuary in which they lived.
One is banished, the other marked with shame. Both must come to terms with their new lives and the corruption around them. And, somehow, find one another again.

A true journey of transformation, as two sisters are forced from a life of unquestioning service to discover a new way of being. In the aftermath of a criminal event their lives take an unwelcome turn, resulting in many adventures which spark dramatic inner and outer change. Part of a trilogy but also stands alone.

This fantastical story about two powerful sisters is wonderfully imaginative, full of sinister twists and turns and magical locations. It is beautifully descriptive and really well written!
