This complete set includes all three books in the Dragon Force Invisible Born, Invisible Bound, and Invisible Rider. Invisible when no one should be, Anira is an outcast, forced to hide from the chieftain who rules her clan with an iron fist. He is their savior. Akin to a god. The path to their survival. Only, he isn't. Not by a long shot. He is their greatest enemy, hidden within their midst. The most dangerous threat of all. No one sees him for who he is, but her. The one whose very existence is a guaranteed death sentence, should she be discovered. Worse, she is a twin, and the chieftain has forbidden all twins. If she is revealed, her brother will die too. But Anira is the only one who realizes who the chieftain really is. She must decide what is more her own survival and that of her twin, or that of her entire people and the dragons they are sworn to protect. When a baby dragon, left for dead, is the first to ever see her, it's up to the two of them to do what must be done. ** The Dragon Force series is an action-packed, magical adventure suitable for readers of all ages. **

I really did like the concept of the invisible twin and the stunted dragon.
I really didn’t like that it didn’t tell you anything about why twins are evil. I didn’t like that they made up a new word to replace magic, but they still refer to magic and wizards. Just keep the magic as magic if you are going to use it to describe the power anyway. I didn’t like how the evil overlord's minion just started blatting about nefarious plans at the end because she knew she was running out of space in the book.
I thought there were a lot of questions about how much dedication went into taking care of the dragons when they didn’t actually do anything to help humans at all. Also, why do dragon charmers know how to fight so well if they are only supposed to work with the dragons? If they are the guards or rangers or something, call them that, and let the reader know that they have some purpose.
It’s a nice story. A nice twist to a dragon tale. However, for a three book series it would have been better to have solved the riddles and answered questions that were posed throughout the story.
🐲🐲ONE SENSATIONAL BUNDLE🐲🐲 Droopy dragon! Lucia delivers one thrilling bundle with all the frills, spills and fiascos, rocking this baby harder than the Rolling Stones, bouncing to the beat and getting ripped, wrapping this bundle up sleek, shiny and tight. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are amplified and bent, shifting this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a tailspin with an astonishing culmination. The individual stories are incredibly thrilling with complex plots, goals and destinations, each one different and unique, with all the intensity and fervor, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. Braided, bound and tightly banded, displaying the soaring ups and agonizing downs, beautiful in it's simplicity and impressive in it's depth, putting our characters through their paces. The characters are complex and genuine with traits and qualities that add depth and diversity, transforming into charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions that feel as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Fantastic job Lucia, thanks for sharing this fabulous little bundle with us.
One of the wonderful parts of reading a book on Kindle- the cover is not generally a consideration when purchasing or borrowing a book to read. A picture of the cover shows up before rating the book. Had I seen the cover before- I probably would have passed this 3 book set by. The cover doesn’t depict any of the realities portrayed in the story. The author’s depiction is far more interesting that the graphic artist who obviously didn’t read the book.
Despite my senior years- I still enjoy a good YA tale and reading about growing into oneself- whether one is 17 or 71- there are always fears to overcome, challenges to overcome and mountains- physical and emotional and intellectual- to climb. This is a very nice book- that doesn’t feel like 3 books- but one very satisfying single tome.
The world of Origin is colorful, strange and a unique place that uses modern day vernacular and old fashioned ideas.
This would be a wonderful series to read as required reading in junior or senior English class. There is certainly a great deal to discuss and ideas and concepts to dissect. Move over tired tales- make room for author Lucia and her work of magic.
A really original merging of dragons and magic. In a society where twins are supposed to be killed at birth the heroine has survived by being born invisible. Her family have succeeded in keeping her existence secret for 17 years. Her tribe's purpose is to protect the dragons in a nearby area. To this end they have an elite force to defend the tribe while not harming the dragons, even if it means their own deaths, as happened to her father and elder brother. The other forbidden subject is magic, known as 'faithum'. What might happen if she is exposed as a twin and also capable of faithum? Although presented as a series of three books, this is effectively a single book, but one that is well worth reading.
Being a dragon fan I am always on the lookout for new dragon stories. This coming of age story is not entirely based on dragons yet has enough of them in the story to help me enjoy the journey. A young girl that has been different and cautious all her life finds her life quickly changing after she befriends a baby dragon. Her brother, sister and Rosie the dragon meet and become part the Dragon Force her father and older brother had belonged to. Her secrets come out and her people that have been manipulated by their leader turn against them. The group finds help and answers along their journey to take down their power hungry leader. I love this world created with magic and dragons.
This was a really fun series. The characters were amazing, there was action and magic, there were dragons, and all sorts of interesting locations for the characters to explore. I enjoyed how the characters grew and the universe filled in as the story progressed. I am glad they found out more of the history and reasoning before the big change in the one main bad guy near the end of the third book. I enjoyed reading these books and definitely recommend them. I hope there are further stories that follow along with these characters in the future.
First off, my version was Audible audiobook, not Kindle! I don't know how to indicate that, because it's not offered as a choice! In any event, I love the book! It's actually a series of three books, and it explores the personal doubts and inconsistencies in the main character's life, and we her accept her abilities and The things that have always been denied her since birth. She grows into a strong character that works to correct the injustices to all of the members of her community , brought on and enforced by the evil ruler and head. I don't like the final voice in the last book, but I guess I can deal with it. Fortunately, it doesn't have much of a speaking a role.
This was a charming cute read. I loved the whole invisible girl concept and the family closeness between Anira and her siblings was so cozy. The dragons are fun and I would have loved to see more of the world building because the snippets we got were really interesting.
I wish we had seen a little more of Anira using her magic in the moment without her just passing out and then we get what happened as a summary as someone tells her after the fact.
The Ooba Tribe is governed by their Chieftain Pumpoo. He and the rulers from his family told the Ooba people that their most sacred duty was to protect dragons. And their second duty was to kill any twins born of their people.
Game and Alira are twins who have been hiding that secret with their family for over 17 years. Now with the call for the next generation of the Dragon force can their secret remain. If they are ever discovered they will be kill.
A slightly different view of a fantasy adventure story. Many familial thoughts and feelings, lots of drama, dragons, humor and intrigue. Anira and Rane, outlawed at birth because they are twins must keep that secret. Seems easy as Anira is invisible and known only to a very small close circle of family. Several "adventures" and incidents involving dragons and a tyrant. a pleasant and easy read, appropriate for teens and adults.
This book was well written and very charming. I loved the characters and the story was intriguing. However, it was at times boring. I just wished for more dragons and more magic. Specifically, more magic from Anira and less passing out so that we didn’t miss what happened.
Anira and Rane are twins. They don't know they can use great magic. Anira feels so different that she has no self confidence. Even after she does great things her self esteem is so low she still hesitates. She pushes through her fear to end up being a dragon rider! I like the family closeness. I also like the closeness of the Dragon Force.
I chose this book because it included dragons. I finished the series, because I couldn't put it down. If you can get past the editing issues (which I'll admit, I really wanted to correct), you won't be able to let go. I'm just sorry that it didn't continue...
It was overall okay to good. Interesting plot line and story. The writing was a bit weird- felt like someone who hasn’t yet honed their craft. It was full of internal dialoge that just waffled and repeated itself. It did it so much that I started to skim, and honestly didn’t miss anything. Still an easy read for when you don’t want anything strenuous.
I stuck with it for 200 pages or so, but that was all I could take. The world building is terrible to non-existent, the plot is utterly illogical, and the characters make no sense.
I hate giving a bad review to ANY author, but this is just terrible writing. Just poor craftsmanship.
This was a cute series that would be good for anyone looking for a young adult read with Dragons and magic. It was easy flowing and easy to understand while envisioning in your head what was happening. Written from the point of view of Anira you understand her emotions and why her view of her world is different than everyone else.
This was a book of utter trash. The premise was interesting. But the story went nowhere and the prose was lackluster at best. One star is actually a bit harsh, but the ending was just so much nonsense deus ex chosen one that I just cannot do any more. And the villain is a joke.
A wonderful story of overcoming your circumstances at birth. I enjoyed this story of the invisible girl and her little deformed dragon. I recommend this book to all. You won't regret reading it.
First off I love that all 3 stories are in one book. And this story is very cool. A new take on Dragons and the adventures you can go on. Would recommend this for YA and Adult readers.
Great series! I hope there is a follow up book where Rosie is older. I loved the book and read it through until finish. It was fun, light and kept you engaged throughout. Dragon bonds and magic oh my!
Enjoyed every moment of this story. I could not put it down. If you love stories about Dragons this is a must read. I loved the characters. The Family and Friendship in this story is heartwarming.
Dragons, what more does a story need. All the positive messages are inspiring. Good once more conquers evil, at least for a time. It seems like more stories are needed as some things were left unresolved
The author wove a story that drew me in from the start. I normally don't write reviews but I read this entire series in less than a day, it was so good. The storyline flowed and the characters were well written and had depth.
This was such a wonderful book to read. All of them. I was so caught up in the story and could not stop reading. I really want to read another book about after Rosie growers up.
….but she repeated herself over and over. I was left skimming many many pages as she repeated how Nir felt growing up, being invisible, blah blah blah. A really good story line tho, with inspiring ideas and concepts.
Started this book as I got the who set free, but going through the first book into the second, I keep thinking I need a book that's going to grip me, I need angst an wonder I need bad boys and feisty girls. I need darkness and intriguing. This is not that.
Exceptional book. Lovely read in the end could not put down, they survived through fear. Then managed to come to belive in themselves in the Faith they had both twins came to survive all that was sent there way.
The characters are very interesting and the scenario was great and good imaginative action throughout. The only downside was too much self involved circumspection gets timorous.
This is a loving book. Adventures, and a whole new life arise from the ashes of betrayl, death, self sacrifice. Dragon fire is not the most dangerous thing to fear. Lack of faith & fear must be replaced with faith, truth, & love,
