This is a short, quick read, sweet romance. Who says men don't cry? Chase proves that men cry, make mistakes, have regrets, and love with their whole heart. Chase left Daisy after their night of love making. Daisy was a freshman in college. Chase was a college dropout. He thought that Daisy deserved better so he left her during the night and ghosted her. Four years later, on Daisy's birthday, they run into each other again. Can Daisy forgive Chase for breaking her heart, leaving her, and ghosting her? When these two finally talk about their past, it is an emotional rollercoaster of anger, tears, and betrayal. The story flows smoothly and is real.

A very cute short story. Chase meets Daisy again after being separate for 4 years. He has a lot of explaining to do. If Daisy and Chase can overcome their past, then they can get to their HEA. This story was short but well-written. The emotional aspect was there and made you feel sad at the conversations between them, but also made you happy when they did get to their HEA.

The story line was good, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and I was entertained from beginning to end.

Oh Chase!

You break my heart too in the beginning of this story! I'm so thankful for HEA's! Phew! Daisy is definitely impressive to listen to Chase's story and give him another chance. This was a great second chance story and I totally enjoyed reading it!
