This is not much of a story—the story is just a vehicle to teach a “virtue” (my word choices, not theirs). I kind of like having the acronyms in these books to help children think through the steps/parts of each theme, and the kids seem to like the fact that the characters are ninjas, but I don’t know how much a story like this will win over a kid who just doesn’t *want* to listen. A truly beautiful well-crafted story might have more power of persuasion (?).

Focus Ninja is a great role model for little learners. Often times kids are not able get these skills on their own. The information in the story is relatable and can be used in schools and with parents.

finding focus is very good. learning how to do so is so important. you know. illustrations are happy and colorful. you really have to learn yourself ... how you tick ... will help you throughout your life.

This series really appeals to a 9 year old friend I read on line with. Ninjas here are cute little people trying to help each other navigate their world.
This is much better than the “Good behavior “ books or classes our son had in elementary school.

The ninja books

These books are wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone. My two boys, ages 6 & 5 not only love them. They really benefit, and learn from them.

Who is the target audience?

This isn’t written in a way kids will want to read. I get it’s trying to teach kids to focus and what to do to do it. But what kid is reading this?

Honestly quite helpful even as an adult with ADHD. I still struggle to focus, but this book gave many good ideas on how to improve your focus!
