The Long and Short of it; A Collection of Short Stories
"Existence is no way to treat an animal."
There is something to be said about the quiet desperation many of us seem to live in. The hum-drum tragedy of the individual. My collection of short stories looks to examine these lives of the unseen many; the relationships we form and break, our beliefs and systems of judgment; all of these are prone to change within a lifetime. And it often is not a pleasant experience either. This collection seeks to sit down with these changes for a while and see if the desperation is necessary. And if not, if one can even find some beauty in it.

A wonderful collection of short stories that truly shows the authors growth... the definition of “all writing is autobiographical”... the stories just get better as you go on... super diverse set of stories... a beautiful combination of wit, irony, satire, emotion, and personality... I get a little bit of a “know-it-all” vibe front the authors statement tho ;) highly recommend :)))

Pretty cringe inducing beginning not gonna lie. Anyway, the end was kind of okay.
