I LOVE this series. It is unlike any other vampire based fiction I've read... These books keep me turning pages and SO sad when I run out of pages to turn! Humor, suspense, mystery, danger... just keeps you at the edge of your seat. The perfect cross between reality and fantasy.

Nothing ever seems to work like it is supposed to, including the magic our heroine relies on. Now in order to fix it, she has to help investigate a string of paranormal murders. Did I mention her magic isn't working?

This is book two in the series, but it works pretty well as a standalone. You will be missing a bit of background, but all the important stuff is explained early on.

This is an urban fantasy story with all the trappings. The story is well written and easy to read with a well detailed setting that really sets the stage rather nicely. There is a lot of detail to the world and I can't wait to explore more of it. Similarly, our characters are also nicely done, with just that right combination of allure and mystery, all wrapped around a tough exterior. I really enjoyed our heroine and definitely look forward to seeing more of her adventures. The story itself moves along at a good pace and has plenty of intriguing twists and turns to it. Overall, I highly enjoyed this story and look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended.

I was afraid that this book wouldn't be as good as the first one, however It was better than the first one. I was hooked from the start and didn't want the story to end. I can't wait to see what happens next.

This one was just as fun and pleasant to read as the first in the series. I loved learning more about the other characters in the town she moved to. The story is great, it's hard to put down and I really recommend!

P.s. who wouldn't want a hell hound like Ramble!?!
