A standalone enemies to lovers/office romance Alpha Hole meets Alpha Heroine
"Don't challenge the devil, sweetheart, if you can't handle hell."
The plan was simple: Find a wife. Get married. Produce an heir.
Simple, yes. That doesn’t mean Brian has to like it. He reluctantly agrees to his sister’s drastic measure of placing a ‘wife-for-hire’ ad.
What he doesn’t expect to find is a smart-mouthed, infuriating woman who makes him think of sixty-nine other things he wants to do with her and marrying her isn’t one of them.
Eshana is far from Brian’s idea of a perfect wife, and their five-minute interview ends with ‘arrogant ass’ right before she storms out of his boardroom.
But the universe isn’t quite done with them yet. Their paths cross, sinfully so and with each meet, the sexual tension burns hotter than a volcano about to erupt.
Only, Brian’s resolve to get the feisty beauty into his bed hits a curveball when Eshana’s enticing pencil skirt and high heels now comes with the title: Your newly hired assistant.
How much temptation can a man endure before he’s allowed to take his employee across her desk?
I'm not a cliched romance writer. I write plot-driven, mindfuck stories. I'm not afraid to push boundaries (check Intoxication, Infallible and Duality) I write steam like I shower - scalding.
For Richer or Poorer by Charlene Namdhari Brian has it all, except a wife. When his sister comes up with a crazy idea, he goes along with it. What he did not expect, was to meet one sharp-tongued woman, who infuriates him at every turn. She is sexy, alluring, and has a sassy mouth. Brian has never met a woman who is willing to stand up to him, call him out on his nonsense, and verbally tell him what an A-”hole” he is. Eshana has never met such an arrogant man before, who manages to rile her up with every word that comes out of his chauvinist mouth.
But fate has decided to step in and tantalize these two and it creates some very fun, laugh out loud moments. Brian is challenged beyond belief and a part of him, enjoys the game until he realizes that she is more than that, she is everything he has ever wanted. But how can he convince Eshana, that he wants more, not just the notch on his bed.
And just when he thinks he will win her over, she does the unthinkable. This is an enemy to lover’s romance but has a huge plot twist. Ms. Namdhari has written a love story with so much sass, and at times, will have you laughing out loud. Her eye for detail and her ability to craft a wickedly tempting story will have you engrossed. Her writing flowed and was easy to follow. If you are a fan of “Reasonable Doubts by Whitney G” then you are going to love Brian and Eshana's story. He is so sure of himself, with his dirty mouth, that definitely steams up the pages. However Eshana was a class act, she was not a walkover and you will love her spark, her challenging him to the point of Brian wanting to kill her or spank her. We met Brian in “Wholly Matrimony”, but in this book he shines, he commands and he will leave you breathless. He owns the word Alpha, swoon-worthy, and while having a dirty mouth, he is passionate. The chemistry was push and pull, but when it came together it sizzled. I would highly recommend this book.
I am not a glutton for billionaire But arranged marriage is my catnip I tried really tried but this book has underdeveloped H And h too much sex and plot meh I tried I tried hard but it did not work So sorry but 2 stars for grandpa the the rest is so predictable and gross that bored ne Arc of by Netgalley For Richer Or Poorer by Charlene Namdhari. #ForRicherOrPoorer #NetGalley
Just WOW!!! This was freakin awesome and absolutely addicting. Their off the charts chemistry was so fun to read. I loved the dirty banter and how even though so different clicked and it was written so well that the words just flowed off the pages. There are a few cringe moments that for me are rough to read but I appreciate the author didn’t over explain the ugliness of her father. This story was so captivating that I could have read a couple hundred more pages. Is there more...? Do we get a Carly story....?
The book description did not say anything about humor. But yeah the inner monologs and the character bickering is funny as all heck. Brian is the kind of guy who likes obedience and control so when the exotic and feisty Eshana tests his patience and resolve with her mere existence we get comic relief from the sexual tension that surrounds them.

First let me start by saying, that this is my second book by Charlene and I loved both! Each book is different, one is a revenge and this one is an office romance.
I was a few pages in and I have already laughed a lot! I loved the sass and class of Eshana! She is just brilliant and amazing! I loved the way she didn't let anyone tell her she is less or make her feel bad! Nope, she stood her ground and if you fired a nasty thing against her, be ready, because she'll first 100x harder! That is something I truly loved about her!
This story was amazing. When the relationship between Eshana and Brian unfolded, I thought I reached the end of the book, but nope. There was more. And I'm glad there was. The book was swift to read. It wasn't exactly fast-paced but neither was it slow. It was a perfect in-between. I seriously loved the way Charlene writes.
The relationship between them both was perfect. From the first time they saw each other until the very last chapter. I loved their encounters and provoking. I laughed so much during those times.
Also this book is not exactly in the 1st person POV. I hate reading any other POV than 1st, but this was a different one and I'm sorry but I don't know what it is called. It was as if the author was telling the story but in the first person nearly? Does that make sense? Well, for me honestly, I really liked this.
For me personally I loved the first book I read by Charlene (A Stranger's Affection) because the main girl was like an assassin that was looking for revenge and vendetta, which I loved. But this one was different and perfect in it's office drama genre.
I can't wait to read more books by Char, especially with her sassy and dominant main women!
i love this book so much, after reading Wholly Matrimony (this is a stand alone book so don't worry if you haven't) Brian was not at all what i was expecting, hes way more arrogant and more of a ladies man than i expected but i love him, Eshana is amazing i love a good headstrong sassy female character, there relationship is fantastic so full of love, hate and most of all passion, by far my favourite chatter in this book is Brian's grandad, hes not in it that much but steals the pages when he pops up,

First time reading this author and I was not dissapointed. A slow burn love story, filled with lust and love. A beautifull woman who has been abused in the past and an arrogant dirty talking billionaire boss. Steamy scences interwoven with a believable story. Enjoyed this book immensely
I absolutely devoured this book in less than a day. I vouldnt stop turni g the pages. Eshana and Brian are scorching hot as enemies and you know theyre going to explode when they get it on. There are twists and turns and its definitely not your typical enemies to lovers tryst thst you expect, but in the best possible way.
Genre: Contemporary Romance Book Length: Novel POV: Alternating Dual Setting: San Francisco Hero: Brian is 35 and a wealthy businessman. He’s a dirty talking, handsome, enigmatic man that takes what he wants and has no room for love in his life. He has sandy brown hair, amber eyes and a wicked smile. Heroine: Eshana is 24, works hard but struggles financially. She lives with her mother who isn’t in the best health and supports her as she can. She is of Indian descent, very beautiful, has long black hair and green eyes. Heat Level: High Frequency of Sex: Medium Angst Level: Medium Standalone or Series: Standalone Cliffhanger: No Epilogue: Yes Thoughts on Ending: Sweet ending and satisfying. Would I Recommend? Yes My Review: I really enjoyed For Richer or Poorer. The story had a nice flow, the H/h had wonderful chemistry and a slow burn into their romance. They did not hit it off well upon first meeting and there were tons of sparks flying until they finally got together (which took quite a while), but once they let their passion overtake them, they ignited the pages! Brian has a filthy mouth, which doesn’t bother me one bit, and boy did it really amp up the steaminess. I wasn’t a fan of some of the back and forth miscommunication, which I realize is typical in books and helps drive the angst up, I just felt that Eshana was being a bit unfair to Brian, but she rectifies her actions and that felt very satisfying. Overall it was a great book and I highly recommend it! Disclosures: I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first book I have read of Charlene Namdhari and OH MY GOD IT HAS BEEN AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE READING HER BOOK!
I love how this Enemies-to-Lovers turned out. The sexual tension, Attraction was soo much from the starting. I love how the Author had developed the characters, the storyline was good and I also like that the Author has used the INDIAN names because being an Indian and as a reader it's very rare when authors uses names like that.
I fell in love with Eshana Bakshi because she was one hell of a woman. Savage, Classy, Fierce I really liked her character more than the Brian(the hero) as he was nothing but really an asshole.
I hope the Author will write the story of Dante and Carly because I would love to read their stories as well.
If you would like to read Billionaire, Enemies to lovers Romance than I would definitely say GO AHEAD with this book.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Brian is in need of a wife and child but had no girlfriend, no fiance and no prospects. His sister suggests he do something drastic like advertise for what he needs. He never expects a woman quite like Eshana. These two do not know whether to butt heads or grab on and never let go. In this story the theory of opposites attract is accurate. This is the second book in the To Have And To Hold series but can be read as a standalone. The characters will pull you in and keep you reading straight thru. I look forward to reading more from Charlene.

“Don’t challenge the devil, sweetheart, if you can’t handle hell.”
Brian needs a wife and a child, the only problem is he doesn't have a fiance or girlfriend nor does he have anyone on the horizon that would fit the bill. Reluctantly taking his sister's advice he places a wife-for-hire ad. Esthana answers his ad but after a Q & A time decides he's too much of an arrogant a** to be involved with him in any way. They aren't perfect for each other but they are meant for each other. They butt heads but also have undeniable chemistry together.
An entertaining read with well developed characters. The story is captivating and keeps you engaged in the story and continuously turning the pages.

First off this book was HOT! I mean THOSE scenes blew me away. Since that’s out of the way, let’s talk about everything else. The tension. The depravity I had to deal with... but when Charlene delivered. She delivered with a bang. The back and forth banter. The teasing only to make me wait longer. This book did all of those things for me. A slow burn I enjoyed until the last word. If you enjoy a alpha male with determination, taking on a independent woman you need to pick this book up. If you haven’t please do! You won’t be disappointed.
* I got this EArc from Netgalley in exhange for a honest review * DNF 44% At the start of the book around 4-8% it seemed good and Eshana had spunk, sassy and wasn`t afraid of Brian. But then he ended up being awful, stalking, demanding and sex obsessed. I hated him. He was awful and right up acting like a predator, plus it is only so much cursing in every sentence (almost) i can take. Eshana fell away in, a way? where was the sass? where was the spunk? it changed very quickly and it was like no one realized the red flags about Brian. ugh.
This scorching hot enemies to lovers read by Charlene Namdhari has it all. Perfect billionaire romance story where the hot alpha male Brian is looking for a wife on a not so usual way. When Eshana enters the interview for a soposed marriage there is nothing but an arrogance and feistiness between both of them. Only he didn’t know that she might be his perfect match at the time. With so many ups and downs they will eventually get their HEA but the road to there is nothing but a smooth ride.
I absolutely love everything by Charlene and this is one of those that I would absolutely recommend it ♥️♥️♥️
Another great read by Charlene Namdhar who once again brings strong characters in Brian and Eshana as well as the entertaining story line. She pulled me in with the love/hate relationship and kept me reading with the sexual tension and sizzling passion. I loved their characters and reading their story. It's well written ,moves fluidly and I would recommend this book.

Loved this entertaining story with Brian and Eshana who meet when his sister talks him into getting a "wife for hire" and Eshana comes to interview for the job she needs for her mother's surgery. He is a arrogant playboy and she is a feisty sassy mouthed woman and from the start they mix like oil and water. When she helps his grandfather not knowing who he is throws them together again and again. It is apparent they are meant to be together but reading this story is steamy funny and intriguing.
This is Eshana and Brian’s story. These two aren’t the perfect match but they are meant for each other. She is the only woman he’s ever met that stands up to him. She is beautiful, sassy and strong and he likes it. Eshana is also attracted to Brian but not interested in getting involved with a player. Can Brian convince her that he’s changed and wants it all with her? I enjoyed this fun, entertaining romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
For Richer Or Poor was outstanding, beyond angsty and incredible devouring! A new office romance that has surpassed all the others in this sub-genre. This author has truly out done herself and I can’t wait to read more from her work.
”God, I’ve met the devil.”
Brian Horton and Eshana Balksi’s chemistry is hot as sin, and engrossing. Flipping the pages faster then ever to be succumbed to their witty remarks, and sexual tension. I could not get enough of these two.

This is a very funny, very entertaining read you’ll enjoy so much. The banter between Brian and Eshana are hilarious at times and he’s so arrogant that she calls him out on it. Not even to mention the chemistry is smoking between them! He’ll have to convince her that she’s the one! Great read!

Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well. I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.
Ok this book is ultra-hot! Eshana and Brian have such an amazing chemistry that I couldn´t put this book down! I read it in almost a day. I really like her, she is witty and sure of herself. Brian is ultra-alpha hero who always knows what he wants -in this case, Eshana- and goes for it. I lose my patience with him a couple of times during the story because sometimes he can be a bit too intense for my taste and imposing, but the tension between them is so good that you just want them to get to it! I really really enjoy this one. If you like smoking hot romance, this is your cup of tea. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Thanks netgalley and Charlene Namdhari for providing ARC of For richer or poorer in exchange for an honest. I think the characters are not developed much and the depth is missing. But if don't mind that or just need something light to read this book can be good for you. Brian is an asshole and Eshana is a smart mouthed woman who is perfect match for the hero. The story was face paced and sex scenes were hot.
I don't usually read books written in 3rd POV but I thought, why not?
Brian and Eshana's first encounter was not really the nicest but the chemistry is there from the beginning. They bump into each other later and... wow, magic happens. I enjoyed reading this beautiful and really well described story.
