i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Women Love Alphas series. This is an older man / younger woman romance between Izzy and Ethan. When Izzy is taking her boyfriend to meet her parents at their mountain home, the car breaks down and he sets out to find help. Izzy is alone in the car when a man stops and helps her. Later when Izzy is at her parents house, their neighbor shows up and Izzy is shocked to see the man that helped her. Ethan is attracted to Izzy, but he knows she has a boyfriend and is younger than him. When Izzy finds her boyfriend cheating, she heads to her parents' house, only they are not home. When it starts to rain, Ethan finds her and brings her to his house. Ethan and Izzy have a mutual attraction that can't fight any longer. I really liked this book. I liked Ethan, he was a good guy and knew how to treat Izzy. I like that Izzy was over her ex and wanted to be with someone who would treat her right. I also like that Ethan didn't want to hide their relationship. Good one.

Lizzy, 20, first meets Ethan, 40, when her car breaks down when she is going to visit her parents with her jerk boyfriend and Ethan fixes her car. Ethan was attracted to Lizzy but didn’t act on his feelings. Over a week later later Lizzy catches her boyfriend in bed with another girl so she decides to head home during a storm. It turns out her parents are gone and she ends up staying next door at Ethan’s house. Would Ethan and Lizzy act on their mutual lust? Was it only lust or instalove?

This was not my favorite book because their relationship occurred too quickly in my mind. Lizzy had just broken up with her boyfriend that day so this was definitely a rebound reaction. Ethan was much older and things went much too fast for someone who was much more mature. I thought the story needed a little more towards the end that seemed to come too quickly but the epilogue helped some.

Ethan is a very short, older man, younger woman instalove story. If you are looking for a quick hot read this is the book for you. Great if you just need a quick break from reality. It only took me about 30 minutes to read. I tend to immerse myself in books and before I know it hours have gone by and I’ve failed to get things done on my to do list.

Ethan and Lizzy meet on the side of the road when he stops to help her because her car broke down on the way to see her parents with her boyfriend. She’s been thinking about things wrong with her relationship and ignoring them. The attraction between Ethan and Lizzy is instant but she needs to head back to school. What happens when Lizzy finds out her boyfriend is horrible and runs home to her parents only to find them gone for the weekend?

Lizzy and Ethan, what a sweet surprise romance.

Lizzy was going to her parents house for the weekend and brought her boyfriend Daniel to meet her parents. However, her car broke down and Daniel was an ass. So she made him walk to go get help.

In the meantime a beautiful man stopped and offered her help and fixed the car for her. His name was Ethan and the attraction between them was electric. Lizzy and Ethan were surprised to see each other again at her parents house. He was their new next door neighbor.

I'm not going to say anything more about the story because I want you to miss the good stuff. All I can say is that it reminds me of the sweet old fashioned love stories I grew up with and I loved It!

Ethan has known about Lizzy because he’s her parents new next-door neighbor. Ethan has become friends with Lizzy’s parents but when he helped the pretty young lady who had car trouble, he didn’t realize it was the girl he’s been waiting to meet. Of course, when they need for the first time there’s an electricity, they both feel. This short story has a few surprises that make then plot thicken just a little. Val brings us yet another fast-paced love at first sight story that has plenty of steam to go along with it. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review for the copy of this ARC book I was given.

This was a short and sweet romance. Ethan and Lizzy were attracted to each other from the start. Their romance bloomed rather quickly. This was a nice quick read. The epilogue put a nice finishing touch to the short story.

A short story about a college girl , Lizzy, whose boyfriend has a lackadaisical attitude when meeting her parents and then she finds out that he's cheating on her after months together. Ethan is Lizzy's parents neighbor and when she first meets him there is an instantaneous attraction. It's a nice, cozy story that could be a little longer. It is a good read.

A great quick read. I could immediately feel the chemistry between Lizzy and Ethan and enjoyed the way their relationship swept them away. This book is very fast paced but I still felt able to connect with the story and with the main characters. Would definitely recommend.

Lizzy is a college student. Ethan is her parents neighbor. They met when Lizzy's car broke down on the way to her parents house. Ethan fixed her car and her heart.

I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events were done beautifully and the ending was terrific!
