This is accompanied by a great guided meditation tape; I love it and use it frequently. Hypnosis? No. I do not believe I have experience self-hypnosis through this tape. Maybe with more practice I will, but to date I admit to a little disappointment in not achieving self-hypnosis. Why then 5 stars you ask? I find meditating with the tape very soothing and calming. The woman's accent and voice are lovely, and even if I never become hypnotized, the tape has been extremely useful to me.
