Original and sometimes profound wordings offer up fresh images—connections to nature, emotion, human relationships. Beautiful.
From the opening poem, “Autumn Dirge”:
“ A storm follows close behind;/ The smell of thunder and rain / Penetrate the thin air, / Taunting me with terror /
