Figuring out what your priorities really should be in life
The Billionaire's Accidental Baby is the third book in the Billionaire Cousins series and is the story of Adam and Tessa. Adam is the third cousin in this wild and fun family. Adam and Tessa are both actors in Hollywood who have been in a long term but open relationship. He is more famous as he does hit after hit movie and is able to write his own ticket. Tessa is okay with that and after getting tired of moving around as an actress and dancer she decides she wants to settle down. Her plan is to do a TV show based in Hollywood so that she can settle down. Of course she wants to do the settling down and family thing with the man she loves, Adam. Adam has some other ideas and even though she loves him Tessa leaves as she is upset. Tessa and Adam have a way wild chemistry both in and out of the bedroom which is hot and hotter.
Adam is back in NY visiting family and wants to see Tessa but he cannot find her. His mother starts to meddle but things don't quite go as she expected them to when she finally got Adam and Tessa together. It seems Adam is still putting other things before Tessa and their relationship. The silly man just has his priorities all mixed up. So an upset Tessa leaves again and goes to Denver to spend time with her Grandma Dawn. As he cannot find Tessa again and she is not talking to him Adam starts to do some thinking. It is going to take Adam making some life changes to get Tessa and the baby she is carrying back in his life, as she knows what she wants and is staying to it.
This story is well written and very believable. Well maybe not the billionaire movie star part but the heart of the story is true. I loved Tessa as she knew what she wanted in life and was hoping that the man she loved wanted it with her. When he doesn't she is hurt but still stands her ground with him when his priorities are not the same. She knows that he is going to have to make decisions about what he wants as a future and it needs to mesh with hers. Adam's inner monologues were fabulously written. You could feel his inner turmoil as the story progressed. Like most men he needed some swift kicks in the azz to make a decision and figure things out. Luckily for him Tessa still wanted him by the time to got there.

This is book 3 in the Billionaire Cousins series. It is also the first book in the series that I have read. The characters from the first two books are in this book as well but not having read the early books isn't a problem. I didn't lose anything not knowing it. Their back stories are briefly spelled out later in the book. Quite honestly I felt the backstories kind of weighed the story down and weren't crucial to this story.
The beginning of the book centers around Adam and Tessa. Both are famous, him more so than her. Adam is driven to succeed, with bigger and bigger movies. Tessa on the other hand is ready to settle down and she wants that with Adam. When they are together they are very passionate, whether they are fighting or in bed.
As the story goes on we see Adam transform as he figures out what is important in life. The thoughts that go through Adam's head are true to life. It is very easy to get wrapped up in his anxieties.
The others in the book are unique personalities. We see more of Adam's family than Tessa's. In Adam's family, family is what comes first. His Mother and Grandmother are funny characters as they plot to manipulate Adam into realizing this. We also meet Peter, a man with history with his Mother and Father. The way Peter looks out for Adam as a surrogate father is touching.
The book then brings in the other family members. The narrative changes from just the five to include the other cousins and their fiancees and their parents.
It is a loving and supportive of the family, a family that I would definitely like to join the family. You defined get pulled into the planning of and the wedding of the three cousins, surrounded by all the families. It is a fun read with a happily ever after.

Adam Martinez is a brilliant actor who can call his own shots since he is at the top of his game and enjoying every minute of it so when his girlfriend Tessa of many years even though they love each other but have an open relationship asks him to do a TV show with her as her leading man she is devastated when he tells her absolutely not. Tessa realizes that she has been country hopping for yrs as an actress and dancer and is wanting to settle down. When Adam finds himself in New York visiting his cousins and going over the new script he has received for his new movie, he is quite happy and he wants to see Tessa but she is upset with him and he didn't know where she was since she wasn't talking to him but he is sure she will get over it in time. His mom is in town and Tina is determined to get them back together so they can talk about what has Tessa so upset but she refuses to talk to him and she doesn't want to talk to his mother who is like a 2nd mother to her anyway. But Tina is up to her old tricks and she gets them to talk and Tessa comes to New York she was already in New Jersey but things don't turn out. Tessa finds out some vital information but runs off to Denver to Grandma Dawn's house for a visit to get her head on straight. When her man cannot find her he is sick with worry when Sara tells him that Tessa was not well and his PA-Peter also informs him that Tessa didn't look good when he got her a flight to New Jersey. I was given a copy as a gift through Bookfunnel without obligations. I am providing an honest review.

Family conspiracy
Very good, tender romance that emphasizes the fact that a relationship is never acquired. I really liked the characters of Tessa and Adam, but also the supporting characters who all intervene to allow Adam to stop being blind to his relationship with Tessa, and who support the young woman in this ordeal.
The evolution of feelings's dialogues are very well written. However, I found the ending a bit too "cute" compare to the conflict at the beginning of the story.
Tessa and Adam are two actors who are together without really getting involved, but when Tessa wants a change and proposes a TV show, he refuses to follow her, to support her, to continue his carreer. Since then she refuses to communicate with him because she would also like a real relationship, and slowly, Adam begins to feel his friend moving away, despite their carnal relationship, without trying to understand what is going on and why Tessa is doing so.

Finally, Adam has his story. This third cousin of the saga was only interested in his acting career, and his long-life friend with benefits, Tessa, was just that, the second role in his life. However, Tessa wasn’t interested to be like that, she deserved more and, at this point in their life, she was willing to change her lifestyle for something permanent. When an unexpected turn rose, Adam’s family was more than willing to intervene and to make him realized that family and stability came first.
Tara Brent gave us a wonderful saga’s conclusion with Adam and Tessa. This story explores their thoughts, feelings, and desires, surrounded by their family members’ as well, to complete the circle with drama, loving banter, secrecy, and plotting. I like how each chapter was separated for each character, to show their viewpoint in the same scenario. When you begin the book, it pulls you in and never lets you go. ¡Wonderful reading!

While this is the final book of a trilogy, it is definitely a good standalone read. Adam is a very popular actor who is conemplating his next movie role. Tessa is also a very popular actor who had decided to do a TV show and she wants her best friend/boyfriend Adam to do it with her. Tessa and Adam have been involved and in love forever. Right now their relationship is not exclusive but Tessa wants to be exclusive. Both actors are in NYC as they are involved with the upcoming double wedding of Adam's cousins to the love of thier lives. Adam believes he is not ready to get married as he is more interested in his next movie role than connecting with Tessa who wants him to be more with her. Tessa gets pregnant but doesn't want it to influence Adam into doing something he's not ready to do. With the help of Adam's mother, grandmother and one of the brides to be ,Sarah, the story ends with some excitement, an unbelieveable wedding and a HEA. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I am very familiar with the creativity Ms. Tara Brent publishes, and this release is just as captivating as the rest.
I have never truly thought about what fame and notoriety can do to a person, but this book really makes you think about it, fictional or not. You get to meet the well thought out characters of Tessa and Adam. It seems that these two Actors have love and respect for one another, however, they are on different paths in their lives. Can they settle down together and get their happily ever after? Or is the fame more important to one than the other? Additionally, I enjoyed catching up with past characters from older releases.

Received this as an ARC from the author. And my first read of one of her books. I enjoyed this very much and look forward to reading more.

Adam and Tessa are famous movie stars, who have been best friends and sometimes lovers, since they were in college, however their relationship starts to change when they get into their thirties. Adam Wants their lives to stay the same and Tessa wants it to change, when her life changes unexpectedly. The family comes together to help Adam discover his true feelings for Tessa and find his way to a happily ever after. I can definitely say that book three will make you swoon and keep you on the edge of your seat. You can read book three as a stand-alone, but I suggest you read books one and two to help you identify the rest of the characters in book three. I really hope James and Kylie get their own story.

Adam & Tessa are both in the entertainment field. They've had the friends-with-benefits kind of relationship for a few years but Tessa has finally put her foot down & wants to have her HEA with him. He, on the other hand, wants to take the big step starring in a huge block-buster movie. He wants this so bad but he doesn't want to lose Tessa forever either! Quite a dilemma for him to choose! Adam needs a whack across his head to make him see this is a no-brainer decision.
I would give this novel a 4+ star rating as this is a really good story to read. I am not a fan of the other POV in the latter half of the book of each group of people in the huge wedding. It is different & this is what this family is all about ... being different!

Adam and Tessa - what a great story!
This is a must read for any Tara Brent fan. This a great make you feel good love story that I didn' want to put down.
I loved this book and the twist and turns of Tessa and Adam's lives. Adam and Tessa really love each other, but will his love for acting in a series of movies that came along ruin everything for them? It will take honesty, trust, communication and commitment to keep that kind of love.
The characters and pot of this story are well written and often funny. It captured my interest right from the start and wouldn't let go until the very end. And that is why I am not going to give anything away. It made me feel like I was watching a movie and I would love to hear more about how this family progresses. Well done Tara! This book was given to me as an ARC for an honest review. Five huge stars!

Tara Brent has another page turner. This is book 3 in the billionaire family secrets set, and is focused on Adam and Tessa. They have known eachother since they met in acting school. They have both made names of themselves in the acting world, but Tessa wants to settle down, but Adam has been offered a 3 movie series. Tessa wants him to join her in doing a tv series, its less stress, traveling and would be perfect for them, but he refuses. Then she discoveres she is pregnant...can she convince Adam to give up his movie career and settle down, or will they go separate ways???
I highly recommend this series, you won't be disappointed.

The Billionaire's Accidental Baby. This book is fantastic! I couldn't put it down! Tara Brent brought a series of love, drama, and suspense to the pages of this book. I laughed and cried. But most of all this story was amazing. A fairy tale that I could escape to from the trials I'm going through. Seeing all three cousins, Jason, Brett, and Adam, finding love to strong women and giving them the world. I must say the weddings in this story was awesome and precious. How can you top this book? Third in series but can read as a stand alone. Loved reconnecting with some of the characters in the previous books. Won't go into the story which has already been outlined in the blurb & previous reviews. It was original & I especially enjoyed the quirky characters & the eventual realisation by the main hero that his part time girlfriend was in fact the love of his life, prior to which I felt like shaking some sense into him! A great family saga romance
Tessa, an actor, wants to step back from Hollywood with Adam, an actor, to settle down into their relationship and move into television. As the story progresses a lack of listening breaks them apart, a tentative reunion occurs, and learning what is important could take to long to save their relationship. Tara Brent has created a great family saga romance with her Billionaire Cousins series. I can’t wait to see if she has anything planned for Kylie as she hinted in this book.

August 28, 2020Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. The story was choppy & jumped around when least expected. Premise of story was good. Dialogue was unnatural on occasion. Based on this book, and my reaction, I probably would not buy or read another by this author.
