I have 2 Autoimmune diseases. M.S. and Hashimoto. The Hashimoto has been acting up lately after not bothering me for many years. Due to life changes, I stopped my strict low oil plant based diet in October 2017. I still eat healthy compared to most people, but I certainly don't eat like I used to and it has caught up with me. At least I'm assuming that is the culprit. ???? I don't know. That's why I was interested in this book. I just finished it and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was very informative and helpful. Of course, I'm kinda strange and I like non-fiction books much better than fiction and I enjoy health information kinda stuff. But this book was really good. I recommend it!

The impact that this book has had on me and my family is immeasurable. Dr. John Bartemus is truly incredible. If you or someone you know is suffering from symptom after symptom or are taking a cornucopia of medications I HIGHLY recommend this book. It has changed our lives and given us hope where we couldn’t find any. I have already ordered a second copy to share with my mom and will continue to recommend this book to anyone and everyone who needs it.

I found the information to be fascinating, but this book doesn’t offer any practical solutions other than finding a doctor who practices functional medicine. In that way, it’s almost a long infomercial for the practice of functional medicine.

This book is chalked full of timeless wisdom, valuable health insights, and things you won't hear from a conventional medical doctor. If you have an autoimmune disease, you need to read this book to improve your quality of life without drugs and extend your health span.
