This was a messy situation from start but Jourdain and Xavier made it messier in a “good” way lol. Jourdain had a secret that ended up almost losing her forever but feelings were deeply involved. Now this author confused me because in the beginning she had one particular food being Jourdain favorite then mid book it was another food and she kept switching it up. Also She made one character basically disappeared after he caused drama throughout the book all we got was a “oh he signed papers” like whattttt! Great editing and nasty sex scenes that kept me anxious to read about the next scenes.
This book was everything and it’s crazy how bryant was doing his own thang but got mad when j started doing hers. X loved her and his buttons was everything to him!! Jealously is something else!! Overall read it you will not be disappointed!!!
Bryant surprised me. Then I realized he had a weapon with him. Jourdain should of told X about the no good husband. Happy they got back together. I would like to know more about her Sister Joi!!
This book was messy but it wasn't "ratchet" (thank goodness). Jourdain found herself in an entanglement unnecessarily. Her marriage to that scum bum, Bryant, was over before she met Xavier. I just don't understand why she kept putting off telling X the details of her situation. Plus, Bryant was running around laying it low and spreading it wide and had the audacity to get mad when Jourdain wouldn't comply/cosign in support of his shenanigans, and then he kicked his foolishness up a notch with his "stunt." I am really disappointed that we didn't get to see what happened to that fool but thankfully he let Jourdain go. J and X were two freaks who found what they needed in each other, so all in all, this was a good, quick read that had enough sex and suspence to keep readers engaged.
This is another great read by Mrs. Monae, her lucky number seven. This story of entanglement needed to happen. Jourdain deserved all of the love that Xavier was shelling out. She did not deserve to be treated like she was by her husband. Her husband's mentality where it was okay for him to cheat on her but she could not cheat on him was simply ignorant. Her finding love in another man bruised his ego and pride but he needed a wake-up call.
I loved the character development, plot, and storyline of this book. I am not a fan of cheating in marriage but Jourdain deserved true love. She received it from Xavier. Jourdain's love changed Xavier as well into a better man.
I most definitely recommend this book. Download, relax and enjoy.
Where do I begin? Xavier and Jourdain had instant chemistry. This book was a prime example of some men being able to dish out what they are unable to take. I really hoped that Jourdain would have been honest when X asked her why she hadn’t been snatched up yet. That could have alleviated all the extra drama. I was rooting for Xavier and Jourdain the whole time. I couldn’t put this book down.
Xavier instantly felt a connection to Jourdain that he'd never felt for another female before. Although she was legally married, she wasn't with her husband but she didn't tell X the truth. They had perfect chemistry and everything flowed naturally between the two. After things went wrong, she divorced Bryant, she and Xavier enjoyed their happiness. Great read.
What Jourdain started was an entanglement that ended up being the best thing for her. Bryant was crazy but like the old saying goes, what's good for the goose is good for the gander too! I don't know why he thought he was going to do him and then move out and she not do her. And just like your typical man, wants to act a fool about it. Great story! Would live a part 2 to see what happens with the characters.
Jourdain should have told Xavier that she was married. Xavier finally met the woman who made him give up whoreish ways. I think they were made for each other. When the truth came out I wish it was Jourdain who told him. But everything worked out for them in the end I am glad.
Messy and sexy: This book was really good and messy I lobe a good and messy romance X was a heaux there’s no if, ands or buts about it but he definitely redeemed himself. J found herself in a mess of her own making but listen she deserved ok! The sex scenes were 🔥🔥🔥 btw and I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
When the story opened, I wasn't sure Xavier was a good man. Then for Jourdain's husband Bryant to be such a brick head was downright head shaking kookiness. The story had infidelity, a love story, an emotional rollercoaster, and ended with a happily ever after. A good short story.
Queen Monae had me squeezing my thighs behind Xavier😜.
Bryant was a f'boy/dirty d ninja! If karmas a bih was a person😂😂😂.
Jordain leveled up on Bryant so fast and he couldn't handle that ish. Xavier came through gave her that Big D and regretting she was missing. I'm glad despite the drama from trifling Bryant they were able to work it out.
This was bad. I’ve been looking for more black novels and gave this a try and I wish I hadn’t. It was bad. Like, really bad. Read like a teenager who has no concept of adult relationships writing on Wattpad. I tried so hard to like something about it. But damn.
I knew it was coming. Basically author used Jax/August|\Will story, fixed a few things and made it into a book. It didn’t make sense in some parts and was unrealistic it others. Basic read at best!
Jourdain and Xavier was too cute together! I loved how she didn't take no mess from Bryant and did her. I'm so happy her and X was able get back to they're happy place. Good read, I enjoyed it!
I hate the way the story had to play out between Jourdain and Brandon, but I'm glad it happened. She was so much happier with Xavier and was finally able to settle down and give Jourdain the love she should've already been receiving. This story was cute!
I loved Xavier he was something different I wish Jourdian ( I think I spelled her name right) was more honest with him about her marriage Bryant was horrible husband I’m happy they are divorced now
I ain't mad at Jourdain, but I'm mad at her. Like I just feel like there are certain things you have to lead with and she dropped the ball. I'm mad she took away Xavier's choice. I'm also mad she waited so long to put on her big girl panties. Overall I loved it! Xavier is definitely BAE!
Entanglement isn’t even the word, lol. Man, that husband was not it. He just needed to go altogether. I’m glad it played out the way it did and Buttons got what she deserved. Love wins♥️
This was my 1st book, novella from author and this was amazing. Reading Tangled I was able to follow the story line. I really didn’t know what to expect from story after Jordain didn’t confess her truth.
This was a story with a surprise ending, well at least for me 😆 cause for me it would have went the other way yall 🙃 I enjoyed the suspense I felt in the latter half, kept me turning them pages hunny. Good job
This was a great story. Jourdain was so wrong for not telling X the truth in the beginning. I'm just happy that everything turned out great for those two. Job well done
