There’s one mistake you don’t make at Prescott High, not unless you want me to ruin you. Do not touch my beautifully broken Havoc Boys. Harbin, Fadler, Channing-Blackbird, Montauk, and Park.
Death stalks the halls of Prescott High. Once upon a time, my best friend betrayed me. For over a year, I let that two-faced bitch go. But not anymore.
This time, she’s stirred up the devil in me. We’re finishing up my list; we’re setting my sights higher; we’re taking control of this city. The VGTF, the detective, the pretty young cop.
It doesn’t matter. Because we are Havoc, and I no longer have limits. My boys have corrupted me, and we’re more than happy to bathe in the blood of our enemies.
C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.
She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.
Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.
What an ending!! Ugh! I can’t wait for the next book to come out! The date was moved from November 13 to the 23rd!!! I will be sitting on pins and needles waiting for the conclusion to this amazing dark series! It’s been brutal lately because I haven’t had much time to read at all so this book took me a week to get through!! Usually I read a book every two days 😂😂 It certainly wasn’t because I wasn’t hooked on the story!
I highly recommend this series and I am very eager to read what is coming next!!!
I wanted to give this a higher rating, because I’ve been a huge fan of this author but I have some issues that I want others to know before they start this or in all honesty, anything by this author.
I legitimately loved her for awhile. I’d never read RH but her and Tate James (check her out, she’s amazing) wrote a series that I thought was awesome. Anyway, this author seems mean. She says she doesn’t like bullies but every response to her readers I’ve seen online is rude as hell...unless you fully in love. She literally gets mad at people who comment and ask when a book will be released because it got pushed back with no communication.
She WILL NOT release a book on time. She WILL NOT. Do not expect her to. It won’t happen. I’m beating you over the head with this because if you choose to read her books you will 1000000000% be disappointed unless the book series is finished.
Last thing that isn’t directly about this particular book: I initially thought that this series was fucking amazing but when I found out she wrote this because another author wrote something CM deemed “mosaic plagiarism” (she’s mentioned this in EVERY BOOK she’s written since, yeah I read them all) I just couldn’t. In the last installments and her other books it was fine. That’s probably because I didn’t know the author she was targeting or that she was targeting someone at all but in this one, holy hell. The other author had to take her series down because she was being bullied so badly. Are you serious? Wow.
Let me say too that I’ve never read anything from the author being targeted but saw several reviews saying the main “bad guy” in this series was relating to her so I looked it up and was able to verify that it was true. She also gave the main bad guy from the first 3 and a half books the same name as the other author which is clearly not a coincidence. Classy.
Now on to my review of the book itself:
It was good, not as addictive as the previous ones but still good. CM can write. I love Oscar and liked hearing about his background. I’m a total fan of the guys. All of them honestly. I wanted more dialogue between characters, it was mostly inner monologue which just doesn’t progress the story. I feel like Bernie is not the best protagonist for these guys because it feels like all she cares about is sleeping with them and not really helping them. There wasn’t a lot of character development with her for me. Her emotions were: anger, jealousy, anger again, feeling bad for herself, hate, feeling bad for herself again. I felt no real love between her and the guys and once again that may be because there are actually not that many conversations between her and them.
I think that this installment was the authors way of working through some of her own stuff based on the inner dialogue which I didn’t love because it felt like I was being beaten over the head that she’s a “good person”.
I liked the end of this book. It felt like a good 4th installment overall. I’ll read the next but I’m not sure that I’ll read any more from this author after learning about her mean girl behavior.
Got 45% through with this book and read 2 other books before I got this far. I loved books 1-3, but this one was difficult from the start. First off, Bernie is supposed to love all the guys, but she loves Aaron the most, which I get, but there is more page time dedicated to those 2 than there needs to be. It got very annoying!! One would think each book would be dedicated to each guy, you know, the guy on the cover. That only happened with books 1 and 2. This is annoying when you're reading a series. This series started to become a disappointment, which made me sad.
Then, I learned that this author wrote this series to specifically BULLY another author who she thinks plagiarized her storyline (I read those books, I enjoyed those books, had no idea they may plagiarized. This genre, is the IT genre right now, so of course books are going to be similar, it happens to ALL genres). She named the main female villain after the author, just spelled the name different. THEN she has the villain killed by being shot multiple times by one of the guys because Bernie couldn't pull the trigger herself. This behavior disgusts me and I won't be finishing this series or reading any other books by this author.
I preordered this book the first moment I was able to. When the release date went by, I was irritated, but ultimately okay with it because I am enjoying the story. Now, the release date has been pushed back again. I'm not okay with it anymore. I'm going to cancel my preorder because I feel like a release date is a promise that the author makes with her/his readers, and I don't like it when people break their promises to me.
Now, there might be a good reason. At this point, I don't care. This is unprofessional and wrong.
Soo... Left a review on Amazon, it was deleted I guess it was either too critical or it just hit to close to home... But here it is...
I tried, I really did... Between the last mess of a book, other people coming forward with their experiences with the author, and just all of the personal opinions and real life situations that really don't need to be in an RH book, the redundant descriptions, giving people free books or money for a few 5 star reviews, to the writer "beef" that's going on that lead to this series...
I think I'm done with this author....
It's sad because I KNOW she could do better, but it seems like she has gotten to the point to where she only cares about the money and has completely forgotten why she started writing in the first place... This book isn't 5 star worthy... The writing isn't 5 star worthy...
So that was the review I left on Amazon, let me say this, I have left critical reviews before and I have NEVER had to have a comment removed... So just another heads up for those who don't agree with her books, she's monitoring Amazon reviews and reporting the ones that don't make her look good...
On a another note, I did try to read this book, one because I really wanted this book to redeem the whole series for me, and two because I actually wanted to read the book before giving a personal review, and couldn't make it past chapter 17... I just couldn't get past all the references, redundancy, and personal opinions... It's supposed to be fiction for a reason...
It’s one thing to hear something but another to see it. I Am just ..... Wow Dumbfounded...shock. This is how unprofessional and childish in her bullying to a fellow Author. Straight narcissistic behavior. She acted like the way she Portrays Kallie rose in the book. Playing all innocence smfh😒 The good thing about waking up each day is you get the chance to redeem yourself. As opposed to a dead person they can never get the chance to rights what’s wrong C.M STUNICH I hope you do see wrong and choose to redeem your self. It’s sad because you’re books are good but you’re not winning any congeniality contest being ugly to other’s.
This going to be a bittersweet post. I love the HAVOC boys. I’ve loved all of these books so far. I can’t complain about the writing, the plot, the story development it’s all amazing to me! Anarchy was so good. My favorite is Oscar, he can do no wrong in my eyes. I also love Victor but he irritated me in this book like so bad. I would have thrown that ring in his face and told him to fuck off. Hael and Callum are my babies and I just want to smother them with love. Aaron I just can’t like him and I don’t know why maybe it’s because Bernadette loves him to much and sometimes I feel like she loves him more than the others. It just doesn’t feel equal to me. I’m going to finish this series because I’ve invested so much time into it but unfortunately this will be the last book series that is new from her ever. I will still reread her other completed work but anything that is new will be a no from me. Which is really sad because I love her books. I understand life happens and sometimes Authors can’t make deadlines but it’s super frustrating how many times her books get pushed back and she’s done it on multiple series not just this one over and over again. I find it extremely unprofessional and again I will repeat that I understand that life happens. I’m not trying to be petty or mean but it’s become a habit of hers and we’re paying for these books and not getting them when we’re expecting them. Reading for me is an escape from the things going on in my life and I don’t want to be constantly disappointed when I’m constantly being given a release date that gets pushed multiple times. Like I said I’m going to finish the last book which is supposed to release Nov 13 but I’m not holding my breath that it will actually release that day. So we shall see how long we wait for this one.
Problems I had with book 3 continued in this one. Honestly feel like the author is dragging out a plot that could have been resolved in 3 books tops. Last one and this one just full of angst ridden inner monologues and “plotting” that never materializes into actions. Found it boring. I’ll read the next just to finish the series but concerned that CM Stunich may be an author I start avoiding.
well, i'm not sure what is going on with the author as i read these other reviews. but moving forward, we finally got this showdown with the big hussy kali.
but i was kind of tired of aaron in this. I WANTED MORE CAL AND OSCAR. i feel like this could have gone so many ways and could have been fantastic.
i still read it and i'm still trash.

you know, it's off putting af that these two on the cover DO NOT LOOK LIKE HIGH SCHOOLERS.

STOP THIS.
but i need this asafp cause i know who this is going to be about.
Bitches are upset that Stunich has an extremist terror organization as the antagonist??? Why? Y'all wanted more Russian and Italian fetishization? (Is that a word)? They're also upset that she has a heroine that doesn't shave and speaks her mind and they call that feminist messaging like the author is trying to brainwash her readers?! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE. While this wasn't my fav installment, it had some really good moments. I really enjoy these characters and their unabashed ways, so I'd read anything about them. FULL REVIEW SOON.
I’m not entirely sure if anything really happened in this book?
We got a tiny bit more from Oscar which is better than nothing but this just felt like a ‘filler’ book to me. Bernie annoyed the shit out of me and I skimmed a lot because I just couldn’t handle anymore of her drawn out internal dialogue, which I should be used to by now because we get that in past books but just irritated me more than anything here. Would’ve appreciated more chapters from the guys POV to break up more between Bernie’s chapters.
Bernie is clearly struggling through some serious trauma and I think it was a lost opportunity to delve deeper into what that meant for them as a family, and how that looks for Havoc when one member is really going through it. I feel like this should’ve been the focus of the story but it took the back seat to Vic and his plotting.
I’m still looking forward to see how this series concludes..
"You're mine, Bernadette," Oscar says, giving me the saddest smile I've ever seen on another human being. "I'm so unbelievable sorry about that."

If you really think about it, asfixiar personalmente a una persona, y dejar que otro se asfixie estando bajo tierra no es tan diferente.
Lo único bueno de este libro es Oscar. Es la única razón por la que quería terminar el libro, pero bueno, es libro es demasiado malo, y se me hace físicamente imposible. Onda, mi rey literalmente le tira "Don't forget: I'm the son of a serial killer. Might be best not to piss me off." en el medio de una conversación, y después se va jssjs #ídolo.
Finally had the time to dive into the fourth book of this series and honestly, it was okay. Not my favorite but still enjoyed it somewhat. In this book, you still get the same group from the previous books. They are also still dealing with Vic's mother, who I just hate. We also get introduced to Trinity and James.
Now I will admit, I hated the whole idea of Vic dating Trinity when he was married to Bernie. It just bugged the shit out of me because one, he doesn't even like his mother. Two, he's married to the love of his life (or so he says). Three, why would he care about this stupid "threat" from his mom just to date Trinity to please her. Ugh, it just frustrated me beyond anything and I wanted everyone to be killed off. Dramatically, of course.
Then there's Bernie who was kind of out of control. She does things without thinking and then is surprised by the consequences after. It was definitely annoying and I couldn't help eye rolling at anything she did. I will admit that it's about time Oscar the grouch admitted his feelings for Bernie and told her the truth. That little tease was going to be the death of me.
In the end, I'm basically almost done with the series so I feel like I should just dive into the fifth book so I can be done with it. Maybe people wont annoy me and other people will die.
I’m annoyed again at another release date push back! How many times now has the author done this? Do I even want to deal with this anymore, nope! Bye bye!
30% and it's just been meh. I know CMS usually falls back early in the race and tries to deliver something in the closing but I'm frustrated. Not one thing has happened outside the extreme mind numbing expected. I'm guessing since the book has great rating that it's going to get better. 40% AT THIS POINT: I will list bullet points of what's occurred and there is honestly nothing that's happened -not one - that has not been completely expected or that is basically some rewrite form from this series. Okay. Okay. Okay. I know it's gonna be half a book in the end. And I expect in that half it's gonna be good but at this point it's been thoroughly disappointing! 75% Okay so now I'm just one more lipstick color away from throwing down this ...this ...this waste of time! Earlier I said I'd just get half a book but noooo I'll be lucky to get 25% of a book! Am I upset... yes! 90% is where this book begins ::: SO NO IT IS NOT HALF A BOOK SO NO IT IS NOT A QUARTER At 93% there was interest, curiosity and development .
I'm very disappointed in this author.
Repeat/fluff • escaped kidnapping • Pamela accusing Bernie of stealing her man • Heather wants to go home • Vic telling Bernie what color dress to wear • gang shopping trip to upscale Boutique & pinching their merchandise • Party massacre -Bernie is the main target party-goers include Fuller/Oak Valley Prep/Prescott High attendees • Sarah stalking Bernie with questions & advising • high school dance standoff against Charter Crew • we rehash Britney's pregnancy fluff • Bernie's lipstick colors - need I say more • fluff a page hear an there Spoilers (haha) Completely Expected • Kalie bites it • Bernie gets the gang train
Couldn’t finish the book. Boy do i dislike it. The first few Books i really enjoyed. But the more i read the more i get the feeling it is all the same nonsense drama. I feel like the issues in the book don’t get resolved properly.
And i can’t take another delayed book. I left C.M. Stunich FB group and i won’t finish this series either.
Through the whole pushing back of all books, it is really hard to like this Author.
so i usually always finish books, even if i don't love them. and i usually stick with series, even if i'm disappointed by them as they progress, because i'm a completionist and curious about where the story goes. this one, however, is the first book in a long time i'm shelving as dnf at 46%. i don't care anymore. the plot is patchy and unrealistic, the characters act stupid and are little more than cardboard cutouts at times, and the writing is bad enough that i can't overlook all the flaws anymore. there's only so much *bad* purple prose and cringe-worthy dialogue a girl can handle. i get why people like this series, it's an entertaining indulgent little story, but i'm just done with it and won't be reading the last installment either.
It took me so long to read this book for a couple reasons. First, if I have to read one more dang thing that says we are from Prescott high so we don’t care I will literally shoot myself. Also, THEY ARE TRYING TO GET MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AS AN INHERITANCE. I can’t. Secondly, I loved Bernadettes character in the beginning but she is a brat now and I hate her all she does is complain and talk about how she’s from Prescott high. And thirdly, the author bullying another author so plainly is deplorable. I only found out through goodreads I’m in her fb group and they have literally kicked people out for saying anything negative about CMs books. Like I’m sorry that you can’t take criticism but sometimes your books suck. But bullying another author is just wrong especially when you ripped off a whole show for a book series that literally was trash. Just because you mention the show in the book doesn’t mean you aren’t stealing the whole plot. Rant over. Don’t think I’ll be picking up the last book at all since I’ve heard it’s just as cringy.
I wasn’t that invested in this one. I mean I did finish it in a extremely timely matter of its release, but I didn’t devour this excitedly like how I did with the others. More like, “the only reason I’m reading this is to know what happened next”
My thought: What honestly killed the storyline for me was how stupid and non understanding Bernie throughout the literal whole book. She does things without thinking, and you know what? Oscar was right. She is a liability cause she’s annoyingly rash. Honestly Bernie in this book was not it.
For the rating, I was debating on either giving it a 2 or a 3 and went with 3. Honestly I just gave it the rating that I give average ku books, and again: how disappointing
So the positives: - This is my favorite cover of the series, because it shows Bernadette in the most equal and powerful position. - The Spotify list for this part is a great mix of hard and soft, of love and betrayal. - The POV changes. Refreshing! - I like how despite all the talk about how Bernie loves all her boys, the only time she really opens up and is vulnerable (that's even the word she uses herself) is with Vic. Even though Aaron is "the love of her life", shit gets real in the feelings-department with Vic exclusively. But that's weird for a harem story, right?
The meh parts: - The plot that can be found in between all the harem stuff. Such potential. First part of this book really should've been the end of the previous one. - The harem stuff, it's taking up way too much time, and most of it isn't even that good anymore, unfortunately. - The boys. Like, even my favorite – Vic – is annoying as fuck.
The parts I really skipped over: - The inner monologues. In particular Bernadette's. But also the boy's. - The ad nauseum repeats of stuff we already know. - Ebon. I checked the dictionary. It's not a word. Get over it, apologize to your teacher and fucking learn something in school, Bernardette.
The parts I've been looking for but still haven't found: - The girls? O.o Was it, like, too bothersome to write about the responsibility the gang has taken on when they added Bernie's little sister to their roster? - The list? Why add more plotlines like that other gang into the mix when you're failing to resolve the already started plotlines? - A chapter that doesn't revolve around Bernie's wet cunt and one of the boys, like, fucking her awake or asleep. Is fucking her harem really ALL she thinks about? Feels like. - A secondary girl character that isn't a slut or a bitch or a doof or ... - A good adult character. I'll literally take anyone by this point. Just, try to redeem adults here, please? They're not all assholes or pedophiles (or secret gangster hunting cops). Ms Keating, where are you, are you okay?? - The plot that started in the first book (literally the best of the series so far).
So I'm really just reading the last book of this series to get some sort of conclusion.
WHY did the writer think it was a good idea to make this 5 books...? The plot is spread way too thin as is.
Un-fucking-fortunately I have to wait a week before the fifth book comes out.
Cue the mf tears.
As always, if you’ve read my reviews you should know: spoilers ahead my darlings.
The gang is back and this time, we are taking a few twists and turns into a deeper plot.
Mommy dearest, Ophelia, ain’t backing down. She’s now convinced she can marry brotherfucker Trinity to her son. Bernie is pissed. Victor is pissed. I am also pissed.
Oh how the plot thickens.
There’s a new gang in town and it’s not high school kids so I really hope all ends well. And by ends well I mean all five dudes are alive at the end because let’s face it:
THEY’RE BLOODY PERFECT.
Oscar, be mine.
Who knew all he needed was a little consent. *crying* my feminist heart, be still.
CAN I PLS TOUCH YOU OSCAR?
Speaking of consent, we dive deeper into the tragedy that is Penelope and my heart shatters for her.
We get more of Callum and Oscar in this book and my heart is happy.
Bernie is reaching the bottom of her list and she’s finally coming to terms with her demons. I’m glad she didn’t kill Kali. The character development has gone beautifully in a positive direction.
This series, scrappy as it may be, is turning out to be one of my favorite pieces from Stunich.
She’s also throwing out a lot of shade at all the things wrong in this world and I’m loving it. enlighten us all.
Well done lady. That fifth book better be out next week because the anticipation is LETHAL.
Half way through I was so goddamn mad at Vic that nearly woke up my partner of 9 years ON OUR ANNIVERSARY just to start a fight. I am no longer mad at Vic. All the boys were perfect in their own fucked up little ways by the end of this book. However, while I think cliffhangers make books more enjoyable and is just frankly better writing. I AM UPSET CM, WHY DID YOU END IT LIKE THAT YOU DEMON WOMAN (this is not serious I love you and it was really well done). I really love how you include real life shit. Just all of it. I love the feminism as well. Loved the gang bang /train /orgy scene even if I personally would never be down for that. I prefer a more all at once type of thing but this was so deeply havoc appropriate I honestly can't stand it. Why are you so good? It's too much for me to handle. I think a part of my soul is actually going to die when this series ends. I'm actually in pain right now, over the experience of reading this. And it's not the sleep deprivation. It's the soul changing story and realness and connection you so carefully craft into these chatacters. With that being said: SELF SACRIFICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE CAL BETTER LIVE THIS IS NOT FUNNY (it's a little funny). I... Cm there are no words to accurately depict my emotional state after reading this. I love the book. You did an amazing job. It was worth the entire wait and I desperately want signed copies when the series is finished. I've never liked any book, let alone a 5 book series, enough to want signed physical copies. Especially, after I switched to digital when I was like 15.
One thing I have to say it's bugging the FUCK out of me how much Ophilea doesn't want him to be with Bernie specifically. How that incestuous bitch asked who she was anyway, talked about blue bloods. My theory I kind of desperately want to be real is that Bernie's dad was in the infinity club and that's why he died. And that she still has family in it that's so high up in the club structure, so important, that even tho she has nothing to do with it and never will, it's a threat. That even tho they don't actually care about her they will allocate time and resources to fixing problems that are big enough to draw attention. Also her dad was married b4 her mom got pregnant apparently. I want her to have like an older brother who's not a creep just a little evil but in an ethical manner and he realizes she's in trouble via the news or whatever and has sudden protective instincts. Also I want this specifically so someone will give the bois a hard time but in a playful rather than life threatening manner lol. I don't really care actually I just want her to have family that actually cares and can be an ally and I want an infinity club connection bc I can just feel it.
I'm upset Stacy's dead I wanted that friendship.
Also I still want a secondary series similar to how filthy rich boys gets an encore. Obvi take a break and write other stuff but CM pls keep in mind that if you want to revisit Havoc in the future I will give you all of my money and probably my soul. Or at least whatever remains when you're done destroying it with your writing
