The Anson Hunter series of novels: The Smiting Texts The Hathor Holocaust The Ibis Apocalypse The Anubis Intervention Egypt Eyes The Forbidden Glyphs
There are also stand alone books and novellas, including The Ra Virus The Isis Mummy The Delta Dilemma
I’ve also always wanted to go on one of those types of cruises, where a murder takes place on boarding, you have to figure it out.
This story is a nod to Agatha, Christie and her book death on the Nile. Dan is the main character and he is a professional Egyptologist.
As many of you know, I am very passionate about Greek mythology in ancient Egypt, and I love reading books about those subjects. I was surprised to find a book like this. Surprised in a good way.
I also adore the cover.
The cover, and the book itself are filled with nods at the beauty of Egypt, and at this breathtaking Country’s mysteries.
And it has the sort of format that is very enjoyable and it’s heavily influenced it would seem by Agatha Christie.
If you’re looking for something that can be read in one sitting I’d highly recommend this book
I love any murder mystery set in Egypt so I am partly biased. Some loose ends, I felt, were not tied up but I enjoyed learning about the different ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses. An easy read and an enjoyable one. I’ll be reading more from this author.
It was a good read! It was a clean read, there are mentions of death and blood but it’s not graphic. The mystery element was strong, I didn’t see the ending coming.
