Continue the series with book 3 of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep!

My father always taught me to take care of myself.

He made me strong, cunning and calculating.

But my Brutal Boys made me unbreakable.

Have you ever heard the saying that it takes one to know one? Because from the very first moment I met the men I've claimed as my tribe, I knew that I was looking into the faces of monsters. And that really should have been all it took for me to know that I was one too.

Hiding beneath my skin isn’t an innocent girl, waiting for someone to ride in on a white horse and rescue me from my demons. So I think it’s time I showed the world my claws.

I’m sick of people thinking they own me. My Night Keepers and now the members of this twisted club all need to learn a lesson in that.

I’m not a doll made to dance to their tune, I’m not a puppet intended to play a part and I’m certainly no plaything to be used and destroyed. I’m a warrior with a goal of my own. And everyone who wants to stand in my way had better get used to the idea of falling to ruin at my feet.

When everything you thought you could rely on is ripped away from you, you have no choice but to find out what you’re truly made of. And deep down in the depths of my soul, I know that I was made to survive.

I have suffered through torment, fought against my oppressors and tamed the creatures who tried to bury me in the dark.

It’s time that everyone stopped underestimating me.

I’m done being a queen without a crown.

I’m ready for my coronation.

This is a high school bully romance series. Start with book 1 Kings of Quarantine.

One of my favorite series of the year!

Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti are my new unicorns. Everything I've read from them is amazing! Kings of Anarchy is no exception. I'm completely obsessed with this series! I'll be truly sad when it's all over.

I've grown to love Tatum, Blake, Kyan, Monroe, and Saint....yes, even Saint 😂...so fucking much! The way this author duo develops characters and character relationships over time astounds me. I feel so deeply for each of them, and I FEEL the connection between every single one of them. I don't just mean Tatum's relationship with each of the guys either. I mean all of the friendships between the guys too. The group bromance is one of my favorite things about the series! Watching Monroe find his place in the group and witnessing the loyalty and brotherhood between them all! It's just so beautiful! 😭😂

RH Bully Romance Fans, run to Amazon now! Your next obsession is waiting for you!

Best in the series so far!!! Loved this one!

The Hades virus death toll is still rising and someone is after our girl Tatum. The relationships continue to evolve and the men have never been hotter. Kyan and Blake own my heart.

Things we are afraid of:
⟢ The Hades Virus
⟢ Stalkers
⟢ Running out of avocados.
⟢ Secret Clubs
⟢ Maze Games
⟢ Loud classical music alarm clocks.
⟢ The idea of having to eat pizza with cutlery.

"And the filthy, rotten core of it is…you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. And I won't let you go."

He wasn’t one in a million. He was one in seven point eight billion. I could search the entire world and never find a single human being who compared to him.

“You’re addictive. I wanted to consume every piece of you.”

“Tell me I can keep you.”

"I'm your Prince Charming, remember? I'm pretty sure rescuing the damsel in distress is a job requirement, so be a good girl and let me do my thing."

THANK YOU to my stunning and incredible soul sister Rebecca for reading this with me! I have been having the BEST DAMN TIME!!! 💝💝💝

This book just gave and gave and then gave more!!

The third book in the series did not disappoint! We are back with our brutal boys and our awesome Tatum at Everlake Prep trying to survive the global pandemic and at the same time dealing with the devastating fallout from the end of the previous book! Relationships and bonds are changing and power dynamics are shifting. Mysteries and danger are everywhere and all this equals just a really really fun read!

Characters-
Tatum- She is just still such a baddie although girl can seriously not keep her ass out of danger for five minutes.
Kyan- This was really his book! He is everything in this book and I could not love him more. His scenes with Tatum were the best. Funny, heartwarming and hot!
Blake-Didn't get as much focus this book but anytime he did he steals the show, he is so sweet, and I have a huge crush on him.
Monroe- He is such a teddy bear, I love how he treats Tatum and how he is coming to be one of the group is amazing, all the bonding makes my heart happy!
Saint- The impossible has happened!!! I don't hate him anymore! I don't love him, but I do kind of like him, he is funny, and he is really trying to be better, and his backstory is really tragic.

That ending was INSANE! I can't wait to start the next book!

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO MY SOUL SISTER CECELIA FOR READING THESE WITH ME! IT WOULD NOT BE NEARLY AS FUN WITHOUT HER!! 💖💖💖

Quarantine Lockdown has Never Been So Crazy

I was in two minds about whether I wanted to continue reading this book Or not.

Reason???

I don’t know if I like any of the characters anymore, or the direction they appear to be heading in.

Biggest disappointment?...

Tatum

I preferred her when she was being more of the gusty, ballsy and defiant girl in the first book.

Now she’s all needy, panting, wet, rubbing herself all over whatever guy is in close proximity to her.
Her libido is off the charts in this book. So many chapter are filled with her just being with a different guy.

I swear, one moment she’s all lusting after Saints body THEN, she’s all needy, and hot and bothered for Monroe’s attention!

If she’s not eye f ing them, she hot for them.

Every guy she’s with, is her world, at the time, and then she’s moving onto the next!....It so hard to keep up.

The authors have chosen to justify this change in Tatums behaviour due to the brutal death of her father....On please!

It’s pathetic that such a clued in level headed girl with a purpose in the first books, has lost the plot and started to buy into the myth of ‘The Night Keepers’ and her being ‘Night Bound’.
She now believes that she’s some kind of, all seeing mystical healer for all of the guys hearts.
That she is to be worshipped as their queen...barf!
What an ego trip she is on.

I am also disappointed in Monroe. Now he has decided to lead with is d*ck, and go over to the dark side (also buying into the myth of the NK) its all becoming a little vanilla with them all becoming one big old f’d up family, with their f’d up problems.
At least,in the beginning, Monroe provided a pull against the guys. A little light and normalcy to their wacked up beliefs.

Another issue I had a problem with was the disgusting, appalling treatment of ‘The Unspeakable’s.
The level of bullying aimed at them at times (with teachers and students alike, turning a blind eye) was atrocious.
No matter how much the authors try to justify this, it’s STILL was hard for me to read.

And of course, what RH novel would be complete without the obligatory threesome, or foursome scene thrown in (and boy oh boy do they all start to read the same these days.

Even the narrative and the scenario’s are all the same) I guess authors think they are being risqué with all these polyamorous relationship books, but they always, always end up reading the same, and quite frankly, a cop out, because there is more drama with the guys in these situations, NOT agreeing to share.

I am really holding out hope for the character of Saint that he doesn’t give in to his and Tatums “needs” because I want her to be denied that satisfaction of bagging them all (she’s such a smug, needy b)

And speaking of satisfaction, I was cringing every time there was a smirking, laughing Kyan and Blake. Yeah...I wasn’t down for all their sexual innuendos, and their constant NEED to be sexual and effing! It REALLY got on my nerves.

( these characters are completely underdeveloped. Leaving the authors to gravitate towards obvious traits )

Why couldn’t we have had something major happen!!

Please!!!

At least one of the guys, involved , getting them killed, or seriously injured just to stop them living their privileged, smug, lives. (Catching the virus only to have a full recovery does NOT count )

But, after all this drama, I think the sappiest lines in the book was:

“You always know how to cheer me up or just make the day brighter just by being you." Gag!

I basically stuck this book out to the end so I could find out who the ‘Justice Ninja’ was…

(I kinda thought it would be Mila and Donavan)

When it was finally revealed towards the end, I just felt sad, because that character had suffered enough already despite his past crimes.

So yeah, If, IF, I read the next book, please let something go wrong and stay wrong, (no miraculous recoveries from illness or gun shot wounds this time.

Okay, they don’t have to DIE but in the business they’re in, at least a life changing injury would suffice) because if we get a HEA out of all this.... I will be very disappointed.

This book was really good and I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. It's definitely my favorite in the series so far and also one of my favorite books that I've read this year. That cliffhanger was awful though (for a second I actually thought that the Twisted sisters wouldn't do a cliffhanger at all but of course they did one and it was the worst one in the series).
Also I'm suprised by how much Saint won me over in this book because I really hated him in the first two books. I literally couldn't stand him and thought he was a complete psychopath (which I think he kind of still is but I kind of love him for it now). He was so sweet towards Tatum in this book (at least for his standards) and I'm dying for them to finally fully hook up. He's actually one of my favorites now. I still love Kyan. He kind of gives me Darius and Seth vibes (it's kind of weird to compare those two characters when they have such different personalities but he acts like both of them). I'm still a Monroe fan though but I wasn't as invested in him as a character in this book (he still gives me Lance Orion vibes though and I'm pretty sure that's who he was based on). I find Blake pretty annoying (to me acts like an annoying teenager who is mean to other people to make himself feel better). Also I of course have to mention Tatum, the main female main character in this book. I really like her but she's definitely not up there with Tory and Darcy Vega (they're some of my favorite female characters of all time). I end up comparing every book I read by these authors to Zodiac academy which is probably unfair because I love that series so much, and I can't expect all of their books to have that kind of impact on me but it's just what I do. Anyway I'm confused when it comes to Tatum because her dad taught her how to defend herself but she is almost never able to do this when she's in a dangerous situation and the boys always have to come save her. Why is this the case? It's a bit hard for me to see her as a really strong heroine when this keeps happening. Anyway I loved this book and it's definitely one of my favorite books by these authors. I'm going to read the fourth book soon.

Woah that finale was unexpected though I did guess something like this would be coming.
The night keepers are going to go bloody apeshit and on the rampage, in the next book I’d imagine and I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

So there was a lot going on here bonds are further forged and strengthened while secrets are uncovered bringing all involved closer together. We also finally get to finally unseal some of Saint's many layers and gain perspective into just why he is the way he is.

This third instalment definitely gives us some solidarity and Tatum has definitely found her tribe each member of the night keepers supplying something she needs. There’s internal jealousy and strife but it all only brings everyone closer together especially now goals are finally aligned.
We also have a new enemy is the form of the justice ninja and old vanquished enemies seem to be again rearing their heads. This also ups the heat factor and it was totally delicious scorching the page with its heat.

These boys have definitely managed to swing my opinion of them full circle which is quite the feat considering and each and every one of them would now stand in the line of fire and bleed for Tatum quite the turnaround from where they all started. I definitely recommend this series and can’t wait to read the final instalment.

DNF....😒😒🙄🙄 tried really hard to stick with this book but it just got too weird for me and Tate is a fake kind of strong in this. I can’t explain it. I couldn’t stand her relationship with Saint. He treats her like a child and his control issues creep me out. I’ve read a lot of reverse harem/bully to lover books, so it isn’t that aspect that bothered me, it just fell short and seemed extremely juvenile.

OH.MY.GOSH!!! That was almost everything I needed in this book. I was on the edge of my seat with all the intense twists and turns. Never a dull moment. Gotta say though, that cliffhanger was as bad, if not worse than the one in book 2. Holy cow!!!

There's mystery, angst, steam and a great group of some unforgettable characters. Tatum is a strong heroine and her guys are hot, hot, hot! Why choose one when you can swoon over Kyan, Monroe, Blake and Saint..

Mr. Saint Memphis - his walls are falling down brink by brick for Tatum. I wish he would just lose control with her and GET IT OVER WITH!!! Ugh, I'm hurtin' for her LOL! Seal the deal DUDE!
I love how they all try to mess up his routine by doing little things to bug him - refill his vodka bottle with water, get a random tattoo and the emojis!!

Ooh Kyan - He has won me over with his alpha possessiveness for his girl. He has called dibs for sure and has gone all caveman on her. Who wouldn't want a man like that! He is a rough and tumble dude, but wears his heart on his sleeve.

My Blake - He's been my number one from almost the start. This guy is the softy in the bunch. You know when he wasn't trying to make your life miserable. He cares for Tatum and wants her safe. He is quite the character.

My, my, my Mr. Monroe - Yum city! So glad he gave in to the forbidden and became one of the guys in Tate's harem. He was pretty much her hero and rock when the other 3 were making her miserable.

I seriously can't wait to dig into book 4.. Actually, I guess I can wait since it's to be released until May... WHAT?!!?!

Ok I feel like we are really getting somewhere with Saints and Tatums relationship. They have a really good dynamic going on but I can't get past the fact that Saint is so damn controlling. And not just with Tatum but with the other night keepers to. I get why he has them and why they are so bad but it doesn't make it any less annoying. It's honestly a turn off and it pisses me off but there's also alot of things I like about him so to me that kinda cancels it out.

I also think it's fucking hilarious how Saint still has no idea what the squid emoji means 🦑🦑🦑 and everyone (mainly Tatum and Kyan) use it in the group chat and it pisses him off so bad 😭

My favorite is definitely Nash Monroe 😩😩 (I think that's partially because he reminds me of Orion from Zodiac Academy and that man is my number one) and his relationship with Tatum is my favorite and I just loved their chemistry from the very beginning. I do wish there was more scenes with him in this book though.

Blake is definitely the sweet heart out of everyone. It was clear from the first book, even if he was a dick and I like how him and Tatum have grown back to eachother after these last books.

I like Tatum and Kyan but he over uses the pet name 'baby' and it annoys me beyond belief. But I love how they really understand eachother and how he gets so soft for her.

I also love how flirty all the guys are with eachother (except Saint 🙄). It's really funny and entertaining to read.

I really disliked this book which is a shame as I usually love these ladies writing. If took me three weeks to finish as I kept putting it down and picking it up again. I wasn’t remotely interested but kept pushing through out of determination to finish it more then anything else.
Alright now for the review, Tatum was totally lacking and boring in this book and became an absolute push over. Apart from lusting after all the men she added no real value and was more like a sex doll for them to use as they pleased. Kyan and her where the only ones I felt had anything real between them at this point and thought they should become a couple and forget the rest. The bullying of the unspeakable’s went too far and was beyond disgusting I ended up skipping most of it.
I also felt like there was too many story lines happening at once and there wasn’t any closure or significant developments that happened at all in this story. Total waste of time.
• we didn’t find out who set her dad up
• Monroe didn’t get saints dad back
• we don’t know who the other justice ninja is
• kyan has to marry Tatum to protect her from his family which was this huge threat in the first half of the book and then they just dwindled away for no reason
• we don’t know anything more about that secret club then what we did in the last book.

The way things escalated in this book and the cliffhanger!! 😱 i need the 4th book asap! We get to see more of the guys and their relationship with Tatum, how each one of them connects with her even Saint..i love Saint and finally he is starting to regret what he did to Tatum. This series kept me hooked till the end and i enjoyed reading every second of it but i didnt like some parts of this book ( spoilers alert) Toby was not Tatum’s stalker as they thought he was and bullied him like crazy and then what they did to make it up to him was not enough, the mental and physical torture Toby suffered was like crazy and the Night keepers just offered him some money and apologised and i dont think they even regretted treating him like the way they did. Whatever the night keepers did to make it up to Toby was not enough, hell it wasnt even enough for Tatum, they needed to regret more but they didnt. And Tatum forgave them wayy to easily. I seriously wanted to see them suffer for what they did to both Tatum and Toby. Monroe on the other hand, i still dont really feel like he belongs with the night keeper cuz he is so different and his relationship with Tatum seems forced. Other than these two points, i enjoyed reading this one. Tatum is a badass and never backs down, i love her character and how she handles the guys.

oh my gosh.... just coming into this book and reading the dedication... was already scared... like should I drink 3 glasses of wine before reading....

You evil geniuses...
Caroline and Susanne have done it again.
These authors plot and plan to give me ulcers. Do you take pride in yourselves? Straight up you guys.

As previously mentioned this book is filled, like its predecessors, with moments of great stress and heart palpitations. Kidnappings, multiple injuries, disease riddled world, you've got dangers coming from all sides. Plus you get hints all the time, of how authors like to kill off characters. It's mind games. I swear. But poor Tatum. I was concerned for her 24/7.

But honestly Tatum is a true queen, because she is constantly surviving everything that people throw at her. Not to mention, she is confident and assured in her decisions. In the long run, i'm not afraid for her, but afraid about the people that go against her, because she's a bad momma jamma.

Not to mention her boys will back her up. This book helped me to really love all of the guys, but none more than my boy Kyan. He cracked me up, and was vulnerable and showed major character growth. Literally, Kyan would hold Tatum ransom from everyone else. It was just too funny.

Blake is still the golden boy, but I still feel like he's in major pain from his mothers death. Monroe has a couple of epiphanies. Saint on the other hand is still figuring out how much Tatum owns him. But he has major skills in planning, plotting, and controlling the group. He straight up reminds me of a mafioso in a couple parts of the book. Godfather style.

But this book solidifies the group, and how they all need one another. I feel like the previous books really hint at it, but it starts to come together.
This book is so good, if you need steamy material, just saying, because teamwork is the dreamwork. Literally could not handle the levels of heat.

So if you're looking for a great read, then look no further.

But like always... be forewarned, this is a cliff hanger book. It'll leave you with shakes for days, and needing some therapy to survive. But worth it.

Thanks again Susanne and Caroline for my emergency trip to the doctors.

Action packed from page one to the last page!
The Night Keepers are amazing and you just can’t help falling for them.
Tatum you just have to love her and her attitude and personality.
This book picks up immediately from book 2 so don’t worry you get things answered but once again that ending!

I liked this novel, but just slightly less than the others. I think that the rest of the group is right and there is now an imbalance due to the steps Kyan and Tatum. I still enjoy the books, but I wasn't a fan of that development. I"m hoping that there is something that happens with the other three to even things out, but I don't know if that can happen since there is only one book left in the series. I also wasn't really invested in the whole Justice Ninja side plot, and really kind of figured that they had the whole thing wrong about Toby. Although these authors have a tendency to be wordy and meander with side plots a bit, they are staying fairly close to the original story line with no major deviations. Looking forward to seeing how all this plays out, especially with that cliffhanger ending.

I hate to say this, but this was a struggle for me. I have found with these authors that when they stretch a series out, the books start to become long-winded. When the books are RH, they use sex as a filler (UGH!!!). It starts to get frustrating.

The other issue I had was it is not hard AT ALL to figure out who the problem person is going to be this one. Shoot, you should already know who it is from the first book.

I am reading this universe in publication order (just like I did the ZA universe), so next up is to start a new series with The Harlequin Crew. I'm grateful I can step away from this one for a bit to try and get excited about the last book.

Where to even start?! I was a giant ball of nerves this entire book, but in the best way. Tate and the Kings push their luck so many times in KoA, with Kyan's family, the Royaume D'élite, with one another. It's intense and suspenseful and so, so good. Can we also talk about how hot this book is? Yes, yes we can. This is burn you up, slap your a**, leave you in a puddle, hot. Excuse me, I need to cool down a sec. Spoiler(ish): I think we all kind of knew Saint wasn't dead, but just in case I've added the spoiler note. Here's where these authors are freaking miraculous, they made me ache for Saint. Like, I got a swoopy feeling in my stomach, knot in my chest during a few of the Saint/Tate scenes. I have no idea how they could possibly redeem him because I hated him before. And yet, here we are, at the end of the 3rd book and I need them to be together. Of course the authors can't end the book on a whisper, they go out with a big old bang and leaving us dangling on the edge of that cliff we love to hate until the next book is released. Fantastic. 5 stars. Read it now!

There's a few things I saw coming, but some things that surprised the life out of me. The character growth is awesome to read, and im loving the groups dynamic more and more with each book! I purposefully started bingeing on Book 1 - 3, a couple of days ago in anticipation of the final book which will be released on Valentine’s Day. I thought a week’s wait for the final book would be doable but noooooooo!!! I waited all this time for the entire series to be completed yand I could have waited a few days more and started at least on February 12 instead.

Now I’m lamenting my lack of restraint because I just finished reading the last page and I’m chomping at the bit and rocking in a corner whispering is it 14th February yet??
