Over-Protective. Ultra-Possessive. Totally in control.
Thea:
I designed him to make grown men feel small and pathetic. To me... he's a giant. 6'8. 700 pounds of flesh and steel. A killing machine with the strength of twenty men. He's the only man who could stand up to a triad of Rogue Aurelians. I designed him with one purpose. To protect the weak and helpless from the coming storm. His eyes will never open. I spill my secrets to his unknowing ears. He will never come alive. He will never link to his ward.
Auger:
My eyes have never opened. The only sound is her voice. Thea is brilliant. A genius, but her body is small and helpless. She doesn't know the danger she's in. Every time she touches me I latch onto her being. I feel her inside my spine. She belongs to me. She needs me to take care of her. I will make her mine.
Take a look inside to preview this alien cyborg instalove ott romance, because there's been over 30 million pages read in the Aurelian Empire!
This is a new series that is based in the Aurelian world. Thea is a brilliant AI scientist. She has created a cyborg that is the basis for all the cyborgs that come after. She does not bring him online, but when men come to buy the cyborgs for war, they wake him up. Auger is connected to Thea and he has to protect her. He recognizes her brilliant mind, but he wants to keep her safe. He becomes her daddy and she is his little girl. While they are on the run, they learn more about each other and they work to bring down Cobernaught. This is a wonderful story that starts the new series. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next.

The writing and editing of this story was clean in the ARC version of the manuscript, with no typos that I caught. The world building was minimal, but part of that may be the fact that this story was set in an already well established universe, combined with the ultra-short length. The characterization was okay, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals without being very vibrant or complex. The development of the romantic relationship was good, and the sexy times were sizzling. There were BDSM elements to this sci-fi romance. The plot and pacing was very quick and exciting, with me the reader turning pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. This novel contained low angst and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Daddy trope, the Fated Mates trope, the Forced Proximity trope, and the Partner in Trouble trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing were four stars. The characterization was three stars. The development of the romantic relationship was four stars. I rounded up and gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. The ending was a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus. I recommend this story to fans of sexy sci-fi romance with Cyborg heroes and BDSM elements. I will read the next novel in the series when it releases, but I will not buy myself a keeper copy of this story, though I did enjoy it.

ADULT Alpha Cyborg Male Romance💕 and Adventure🚀 with Age Play👩 and Spankings👋👋.
The tale is slow going in the first 30% as Thea💃💋, a young genius scientist, explains how she created a living cyborg, Auger🐺🍆⛲💪, out of Aurelian and human DNA, among others, for the cyborg research company Cobernaught, she works for.
Her genius works too well, and Auger🐺🍆⛲💪👋 has a mind of his own. He wasn't supposed to wake up, but he did. Visiting elites are interested in using cyborgs for military combat, something Thea💃💋 is dead set against and was never part of her contract. She decided to rebel.
Auger🐺🍆⛲💪👋 is the first Mark I, a prototype bodyguard. He is not designed to be a soldier, although he has programming for all forms of defensive and offensive combat.
Thea💃💋 frees Auger🐺🍆⛲💪👋, hoping he will find a transport off the small moon she lives and works on. Instead he finds her home and claims her as his own.
Auger🐺🍆⛲💪👋 is a caring, loving💕 Daddy and a deluxe Spankenstein👋👋
ARC Provided by Booksprout 🌱 I also got this ebook with KU.
The author put a lot of effort into the explanation of how and why Thea 💃💋 created Auger🐺🍆⛲💪👋. Then the book morphs into a kind of cheesy spankster 👋👋novel for a while. Then it's back to an exciting action novel with Auger🐺🍆⛲💪 saving Thea💃💋, and Thea💃💋 saving Auger🐺🍆⛲💪 from Cobernaught assassins who come to kill him.
Thea was a child prodigy when it came to programming. Now she's the youngest lead scientist on a team developing cyborg bodyguards. Thea loves all of her creations, but none more so than Auger, the sole Mark 1 model. He was never meant to awaken, but circumstances force her hand. She intends for him to run to safety, but instead he goes after her. With everything she knows called into question, Auger may just be the most stable thing left in her life.
It's great that Thea actually comes across as intelligent. Her problems with connecting to other people make sense given her history. Tons of minds were used to program skills into Auger and it's really interesting to see him slip into the different memories. His struggle to find himself among all of the trace personalities made for a super unique character conflict. His dominance was fitting, but he was fast to jump to extremes. I was surprised that Thea got on board with his tendencies so quickly.
Overall, I could follow the story well despite having never read any of the other works in the author's Aurelian universe. The foundation was laid for a sequel and I'll be curious to see how that book turns out.

—>>> A new breed of alien is added to the list of those familiar to me, of Aurelians, Toads, and Scorps, except that this one has been designed in the research lab by the youngest lead designer of the Cyborg Bodyguard project, and they carry genetic code from all three species as well as other special attributes. Built by Thea to showcase only the most intimidating of hypermasculine of factors, she has bonded emotionally with Auger, her very first model, the first of its generation of her Cyborgs. But something is not right at Cobernaught, the company which had snatched her straight out of her tech institute as soon as she had graduated, and she has been working nonstop at perfecting the product since. And her most beloved of all Mark generations created, Prototype Mark 1, is in danger of being destroyed. And neither have any intention of allowing this to happen until they get answers as to what is going to happen to the Mark models she has been creating.
I enjoyed this first installment, with the daddy/litle girl instant-love romance and some danger and suspense mixed in. It looks like a great new series is shaping up, and it ends on a teaser of what is to come next.
Excellent and wow what a great book this was to read. I am pleased that Ms Cains has chanced something different because it sure works for me. A fast paced and a book that will hold your attention from start to finish. Just riveting to say the least. Instead of a trio of Aurelians this time we certainly just have one huge male, a cyborg body and a human brain. Thea has made Auger, has spend all her time coding, but she keeps him offline thinking he is flawed... Other Cyborgs are made but they are not like this one she has programmed herself. But what she dosnt know is that Auger can hear her voice, so when he is taken out to show prospective buyers, she is asked questions, then when ordered from the room she learns that they are hurting him so she hurries in and takes the electrodes out only for him to wake up and pin his eyes on her...... Mine.... She must save him, only he comes back takes charge, she is his little one... and she will call him Daddy he is her protecter!
In really enjoy Corin Cains books at the best of times and for those of you who really are fans as well , i know you are going to love this as well.... hot, sexy, and action packed. Well done!! 5plus stars
Thea has a brilliant mind. She may not devote much time or attention to the Universe beyond her current project, but she can code AI and design Cyborgs like nobody else.
Auger... is infinitely more than the sum of his parts, as Thea accidentally discovers first hand. Designed, and programmed, to be the ultimate bodyguard and protector, Anger was meant to be a demo model that was never actually activated... But life rarely goes according to plan.
I loved so much about this story, particularly when Thea would stop to realize that she had been so focused during her programming on how the 'threat' would react to an aspect of Auger, that she hadn't thought about how his protectee would react to that same characteristic.
This is a well paced, entertaining, done in one quick read.
I was gifted with a copy, and chose to leave a review.
This is the latest book by Corin Cain. It’s still set in the same universe as the Aurelians but it completely different in the a wonderful way. It still has the heat that you get in one of her reverse harem stories. I loved it! I couldn’t put it down. I was caught up in the action from the first page. Auger is her creation that was never meant to go ‘live.’ Thea created Cyborg Bodyguards. Auger is the first generation. She has told him all her secrets as he laid in ‘sleep.’ Auger must protect her. She brings focus for him. Will he be able to keep her safe?

What do you get when you combine the DNA of an Aurelian, a Scorp, a Toad, a human and a bit of technology? A possessive, dominant, kick-arse, loving male that will do anything to protect and possess the woman he loves! This story is a wonderful start of a new series set in the Aurelian universe. Great world building, sexy scenes, conflict and drama, laughs and a happily ever after made this book very hard to put down before the end.

I couldn't put this book down. Great storyline, fast paced and enjoyable with some suspense and interesting characters. I'm not really into the whole "Daddy" thing, but you could enjoy the storyline without being into this element of it. Set in the Aurelian world, but not as long as the Aurelian books, it's definitely worth checking out if you are fans of that series. However although a understanding of that world is helpful, this could be read as a standalone.
Really loved this one. Im not a huge fan of this authors previous books (the few that I’ve read) where it was all gratuitous sex with no plot. (Don’t get me wrong, love a steamy story with lots of sex, but as a driver for the story and a way to emphasize the love and connection the characters Feel for one another.)
But this romance had a good plot, executed well, written well and plenty of steam and sizzle to make it exciting.
Auger is created by Thea to be the ultimate bodyguard using memories of multiple beings both good and evil. When she is threatened, he wakes up and so begins a race against evil. There are some “saucy” scenes which I skipped through - I definitely enjoyed the action and dramatic tension more than those other types of situations. I liked this story and am looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
What a great refresher. This story is in the Aurelian world, but is separate from them. It brings a new dimension to a fabulous world. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is off the charts. I enjoyed the twist of his programming. Can't wait to see where this spinoff leads.
The first book in the Alien Cyborg Bodyguards series a well written story that held my interest until the end. This is human AI scientist Thea, and Auger's story there is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book. A Captive Romance... Auger is a Cyborg who Thea created using Aurelian, Scorp, Toad and Human DNA. He was supposed to be a bodyguard created to protect, however the corporation Thea worked for had other very sinister intentions... I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
There was too much repetition of scenes/words/Thea's thoughts. Like if you try to say "I am hungry" then it gets retold in various versions over the course of the book.
A really awesome book based in the Aurelian universe. The author expanded the Aurelian universe of Romance Sci-fi of aliens and rope in another romance Sci-fi subgenre of CYBORGs. So humans being humans not wanting to pay protection fee from the Aurelian Empire from outlaw/evil aliens, hired a brilliant young prodigy AI scientist to mass produce powerful guardian cyborgs to protect the human race which only high-end corporations and the wealthy can buy. The AI company looking for a quick buck cause these CYBORGs are not cheap decides to mass produce the cyborgs for war. The AI scientist not believe in war knew she had to take action to protect what she created. Although asleep, the cyborg see his creator as someone to protect.. A age play daddy dom to a little girl... She's MINE. I look forward to future books in this new series in the Aurelian universe and definitely recommend this book.
