When your best friend marches into your office and quits your job for you, the natural reaction is to bite her head off, right? Until you find out she's holding the winning lotto ticket in her hand.
Heather is ecstatic, and I'm thrilled for her. But when she tells me what she wants to do with the money, I'm a little shocked. And by little, I mean jaw-dropping, mind-blown, awkward silence shocked.
Heather wants a harem. My newly-divorced best friend wants to get a gaggle of men so she can have one each day of the week. And she wants me to use my party-planning skills to make her private-island, Bachelorette-style experience the best it can be.
What could possibly go wrong?
I'm determined to help Heather get her unconventional happily ever after. Meanwhile, three guys on the staff I supervise on sexy-time island are bound and determined to distract me. The arrogant pilot, seductive chef, and hot tennis pro think they can show me that it's not only lotto winners who deserve a lotto love. But, with lotto wins, there can come a lotto trouble. Especially when someone on the island isn't supposed to be there ... and thinks they deserve that money more than Heather. And they will do absolutely anything to get it.
Author's Note: This is a medium burn reverse harem romantic comedy.
I didn't give a star rating as I DNF this one. The premise, on the surface, sounded pretty fun. Friend wins lotto and wants to build her own harem. BFF ends up the one with the multiple guys.
I just did not like the FMC. She lacked any kind of self-confidence whatsoever. I'm ok with FMCs that have bad shit in their past that makes them have self-doubt and/or need time to come into their own. She was just blah to me. I also didn't like that one of the MC was a compulsive liar... ugh, like her love is gonna fix that nonsense.
I couldn't stop reading. I loved these books so much and I couldn't stop laughing! Katie and Heather are freaking riots their smart @ comments and remarks were priceless. 5 stars all the way
