es el primer danmei q leo de este tipo y ha sido una experiencia COMPLETAMENTE diferente... disfruté mucho que te den a elegir lo que sucede después, me gustan mucho este tipo de novelas interactivas. Ahora, respecto a los temas que se tocan... religión, traumas, moralidad... el autor lo ha sabido tocar perfectamente como si fuera un conocedor experto de estos temas, debe serlo. La infinidad de referencias religiosas es increíble. La relación entre Enoch y Lemuel, el descubrimiento del pasado de cada uno y cómo salieron adelante juntos. Amé cada final, incluso los finales malos que me dejaron el corazón hecho PEDAZOS, amé todo!! Fue una historia hermosísima y algo dolorosa de leer en algunos puntos, pero me alegra haberla terminado

yk what, i was Skeptical with a capital S when i first read this. bc the blurb said it was interactive, and i was like, ??? cos this is a novel, not episode. but it worked, and it worked WELL. the main storyline is an hea, but the other choices always lead to a bad ending and they were so frickin sad 😭😭
and the character development omfg. the priest struggled so much with the demon basically changing his entire worldview, but he got there at last and i was like 🥹🥹🥹YOU'RE FREE NOW
i'm so glad the main story was an hea bc i would NOT be able to finish the bad endings were so horrifying?? like the bad endings had r@pe, su!cide, extremely violent and gory deaths, torture and shit like that i genuinely-
the novel noveled but now i need something happy to cure me

Trata acerca de un mundo donde el infierno se abre y los humanos tienen que luchar contra los demonios, en este mundo un sacerdote acaba casualmente comprando un demonio mestizo y lo lleva a casa, esa es la premisa
Ahora antes de leerla recomiendo leer las tw por que no son una broma, tambien decir que esta narrada en 2 persona y varios finales que puedes elegir tu
Ahora sí mi opinión
de precisa no mencione más por que la novela se encarga de meterte en este mundo poco a poco, al inicio solo los ves así, un sacerdote y un demonio, puede que al inicio odies al sacerdote y no entiendas al demonio pero créeme que llega un punto de quiebre y de ahí son plot twist que te narra quienes son y que los llevo a la actualidad ahí te das cuenta que ninguno es malo en realidad.
Con spoiler: el sacerdote es enoc, el fue criado por la santa sede como un "hijo sagrado" nacido y criado para ser un sacrificio pero por asares del destino acaba tomando una identidad que no le corresponde y viviendo como te lo presentan al inicio de la novela, el no es malo sus acciones son por el como lo criaron y llega un punto de que te encariñas con el, por otro lado esta lemuel el demonio, te cuentan por que es diferente de otros y es que el vivio y creció como humano, tenía un padre abusivo y una hermana menor encantadora, hizo cosas que se consideran "malas" por necesidad y posteriormente se unió al ejército y demostró su valía mientras pensaba en recolectar dinero para irse de la frontera con su hermana y su familia de ella pero pasa un desastre y atacan la ciudad y mueren todos los allegados de lemuel incluyendo a maría , su hermana y se vuelve tan loco que acaba revelando su sangre de demonio y es qué pasa lo que pasa del abuso y acaba en las manos de enoc, ahora acerca de el hay un punto interesante que es su orientación sexual por que oh el siempre ha sido gay y como lo abarcan es interesante.
Esta novela tiene un emfoce único poco visto y unos personajes completos y bien desarrollados así como un ambiente religioso bastante interesante y que si bien al inicio parecía una novela morbosa solamente acaba siendo una novela fascinante y muy buena, le doy 4 pq simplemente no hay razón solo no es un 5 para mi y ya.

I’ve never read a book like this, it’s second person POV with 6 different endings: 5 non-HEA endings and the final ending is HEA so it’s like a fucked up choose your own adventure story. Dark paranormal romance between a priest and the half demon that he bought on a whim. It’s set in a world where the gates to hell have opened and humanity is engaging in a war against demons. This book has layers to it, examining the dangers of blind faith, the cost of war, and how people respond to trauma. The priest is a fascinating character, able to hold simultaneously conflicting worldviews and undergoing some very satisfying character growth. At first I thought he was autistic, then I thought how he was raised influenced his behavior and thought processes, now I’m not sure what I think. This would have been a 5 star read for me but the final chapter of the HEA ending was rushed and overly saccharine, I felt like it didn’t match the tone and complexity of the rest of the book. I would have much preferred it if the book had an open-ended HFN at the end of the preceding chapter.
CWs: human trafficking, amputations, rape, captivity, murder, self-harm, suicide, briefly mentioned incestuous sexual assault of a minor, dubcon, human sacrifice, terrorism

2.5/幾乎是全程代卡配羅看的，中間有一部分香得我嗷嗷叫。在原耽的標準下，能有這樣的文筆和佈局算是很不錯，神父X惡魔的張力也有表達出來，可惜筆力只夠撐三分之一到一半左右，後面就愈發流於刻板，很多有潛力的地方也草草放過了，整體始終沒法突破到更高的層次。

Paranormal choose-your-own-adventure danmei about a priest who buys an injured half-demon. 2nd person present tense, 5 bad end routes, one happy ending. It starts dark, but the way the relationship develops in the main route is really rather sweet. It's a tense two-person-piece about two lost souls finding salvation in each other, mostly limited to one location, almost claustrophobically intimate.
