Fun, Destiny themed recipes and cocktails. Love the Eva Levante interludes about all the characters of the Tower and Xur's coleslaw looking face.
Shame that it's is all cups and ounces...1 cup of spinach? Really? Do you squash it in? Or just let the leaves fall in and that's it?? Chop it up then measure it? 🤷♀️
Amazing lore building! I love the way Eva Levante is written, I adore that poplar exotic weapons get their own drinks, and all the Dawning treats are represented! Even Taken Butter is in there. Eva gives insight about the other Guardians in th tower, including Ana's girlfriend which I honestly didn't know the name of. The pictures are adorable, the tributes and 'menus' for each character and thoughtful, and the writing is superb. I loved reading this and I can't wait to try some!
for a video game cookbook, this is also a legitimately interesting cookbook. it also stays in theme without coming across as cheesy or forced. the whole thing is really beautiful and even as someone who was never super into destiny, reading through was enjoyable and i did copy out some recipes to try.
It is a cookbook. If the food turns out badly, it is probably your mistake. However, unlike most cookbooks, I am able to connect with a grimoire I find especially captivating, and then create a dish I will then have an emotional connection to.
The lore and descriptions are positively delightful. Some of the recipes seem incredibly time-intensive, but I'm excited to try out some of the more reasonable ones
Great book, especially if you're into the game. Recently ran into a problem when I couldn't get through a quest. Here https://truecost.gg/d2/trials_of_osiris I got help and unlocked the right weapon
My dad got me this for Christmas about a year ago and I absolutely love it. Nice lore tie-in's. And lots of amazing recipes, can't wait to try them all!
some great recipes but destiny has such an extensive and well documented lore and weapons, some of the recipe names were disappointing. there was so much room for creativity that was just left out.
