Now that Kimberlyn has been attacked, TQ is out for blood. With so many possible suspects, it seems almost impossible to figure out who would make such a terrible mistake. Luckily for TQ, the lack of experience of her assailant eventually leads him right to them. However when one enemy goes down, many others begin to rise, forcing TQ to make a decision that will forever change QCF, and may even cost him his life.
In the second installment, the Quinton brothers, who once lived a care free life, come face to face with problems that they'd never even given a second thought. Will they be able to to handle what is being thrown at them, all while trying to build relationships, new and old? Or will they realize that life before they met the ladies they claim to love suits them much better. Enjoying this Urban series. Sometime I need a little bad boy/bad girl in my life. These characters live and die by the streets but it works for them. Looking forward to reading the next and final book 3.

I went back and forth with this book. Some moments I was sitting on the edge of my seat flipping through my kindle as fast as I read each word on the page and the next I really wanted to hunt Ms. Shvonne down and just scream out to her WHY????? Okay let me put my reviewer hat on. Kim and TQ were obviously made for one another. I think that their relationship was the one that I enjoyed the most out of everyone in the book. Kim was a little childish at times with the way that she would lash out impulsively but TQ rounded her out. His no-nonsense approach to situations caused her to mature fast if she wanted to maintain a healthy relationship. I low-key loved when he would "boss up" on her and make her quickly see the error of her ways. Rhys and Summer!!(can I get country for a second??) This couple made my ENTIRE ASS ITCH!!!! I just don't understand. Summer must have had some type of mental deficiency or something. I am not an advocate for domestic violence but I really wanted SOMEBODY to slap the pure-d-piss out of this foolish girl. She was manipulative and she never gave him a moments peace. I don't understand women who take men back after infidelity only to sentence him and themselves to a life of misery. Like why the world would you want to be with someone that bad that you sacrifice your own happiness?? I was just screaming out loud Bih get over it and move the HELL ON already!!!! The fact that she admitted that she brought up his ex, Lisa shooting her to dig the proverbial knife in to increase his guilt made me really dislike her. Then when this heifer who from all accounts began dating Hakeem BEFORE her and Rhys decided to end things fully, wanted to act judgemental and as if she was the wronged party, I really really wanted to "put them paws on her" as Scrappy would say. Britain and Goldie's relationship I'm just not too sure about. They just seem weird to me. Britain is just too laid back and nonchalant about their relationship. The things that you would expect him to be all up in arms about he just laughs and carelessly carries on as if he has not a care in the world. Now I'm not saying he needs to act like a straight "MITCH" but show some concern and empathy when your girl is freaking out. DANG!!! Okay Aries and Saya definitely had the most dysfunctional relationship out of everybody. Why would someone as beautiful and accomplished as Saya was described as being want to be with a low-life, no-count, shiftless, lazy, good-for-nothing dude like Aries. He obviously wasn't faithful. From her own mouth he didn't know how to work his tool very well and the only benefit she got from him was good head!!! WHAT THE WORLD??!?@?!#?!@# Man all I can say is Saya needs to invest in some Kandi Coated Nights toys hunti because that fool right their wasn't worth a danggone thing. She couldn't even come up with any skill that he had that would be beneficial to her family. This dude was just plain and simple a LOSER!!! Overall this was a very well written story but there were times throughout the story that the immature attitudes of some of the women and their lack of maturity caused me to close my eyes and let out a loud groan!!! The females in the story Hayden and Tekeya really and truly give hood rats a bad name. These manipulative and scheming hoes were bat-sh** crazy!!! I'm telling you a man only has to tell me ONCE that he doesn't want to be with me before I decide to move on. SERIOUSLY!!! What I look like begging and trying to hop on a dude that isn't willing when there are plenty that would be glad to jump all over this divalicious chocolate?? Child boo I don't get down like that!(okay I lost it for a second let me get back to the story LOL) Gang was doing the absolute MOST. This fool went on a date with Kim!! They never had sex, and really and truly their relationship was never fully defined. How in the world was he all in his feelings because she didn't feel the same way about him?? At the end of the day this dude was acting like a toddler who couldn't have his favorite toy. Then we have the Quinton boys' father!! This dude is beyond psychotic but quiet as kept their momma ain't wrapped too tight her danggone self. Let's examine the evidence. First of all she stayed with this fool after he told her that there was something wrong with her sinse their first born was a female. Now, never mind that the male determines the sex of the child. He pushed his inadequate DNA issues off on her and further compounded that foolishness by openly cheating and staying away for 3 months. Did she leave?? Nope she stayed and had 4 more children with this imbecile. Now tell me something ain't clean in the milk with those two and I got a parcel of swamp land to sell you that I"m sure you will buy if you believe that this duo is all the way sane!!! Okay again let me stop. Ms. Latrice you know how I feel about your writing style and skill. You are in simple terms AMAZING!! I look forward to seeing that you have new releases coming because I know 9 times out of 10 I'm going to be riveted to the tale from start to finish. Kudos young lady!! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!!!

Good read but I know Mr.Britain is really going to get Miss.Tekeya for putting him in jail, and I hope Jayce know better I think his brothers was there to save him though. I'm starting to think Hakeem has a problem but we shall see. Anxious to see what part 3 might brings Goodread

There’s so much happening right now, and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed! I have to admit, the cliffhanger has me a little mad! I’m so invested in the story and just want to find out how it all ends. I’ve noticed that the female characters don’t really seem to act like typical hood females, which is a bit frustrating for me. It feels like they might live on the outskirts and aren’t really connected to that lifestyle, just going along with everything. Some of their choices just don’t quite add up for me, but hey, it’s all part of the story! I rate this a 3.5 stars 🤩

In book one I knew that Rhys and Summer relationship was broken. After ten years and no proposal you know that man is still looking, however, I wondered if they could have worked if poor Summer was not insecure, went thru a traumatic event all because of Rhys actions SMH. I’m not a fan of Hakim.
The other brothers are finally getting their lives together, but still some hiccups in the way! Those “other” women are so obsessed and trifling that they will kill for these men. What Tekeya attempted to do to Britain failed, but had dire consequences. Lendsey also got his own drama.
Kimberlyn is growing into her own and having TQs back. Matikah and Goldie will need to do the same, but it’s hard for them because these men are players. TQ was also a player, but explained to Kimberlyn if she’s his, she will need to ride and trust him.
Their dad Stony is very cold and only cares about crime and money and no feelings for his children. Their sister Saya can do much better in the men’s department because Aries is trifling.
Gang was a punk and a dumb kingpin. He should have let bygones be bygones. I was not surprised about the ending though because I saw that a mile off.
Let see what their dad Stony will do when he realize his money train is no more Lol 😂.

Meh this was okay…kind of a filler. I lot of sex. With 4 brothers, that’s to be expected it’s just that it got boring because it was all the same. All the women said and acted the same and so did the brothers. So I skimmed those pages. Summer and Rhys…I get why people got irritated with her but the problem was, she didn’t know what we knew. If your man cheats, the girl is still calling, he stays in a hotel 90% of the time, not coming home, chilling with other women-in their homes, why would she think he was faithful? He moved on and his life is sweet, as usual and of course it is. He hasn’t cheated, he comes home and has no negative history, to taint the relationship. That’s how it goes though. If he was going home and putting in the work, I would be irritated with Summer too but she had no way of knowing he was being faithful to her.

Waiting to see what book 3 has in store
You Needed Me was a story the enter twined the lives of two cousins and their best friend and their eventual relationship with 3 of 4 brothers, hence the need for a book 3. I enjoyed reading this series but felt it was a bit long and drawn out. Personally I’m not a fan of stories with multiple leads, there are just too many characters to keep up with. Counting the Quinton’s sister, it was about 10-20 people in relationship throughout this series. TQ and Kymberlyn, Rhys and Summer, Lendsey and Matikah, Rhys and Indiyah, Summer and Hakim, Britain and Goldie, Summer and Romeo… and so on! Not to mention the girlfriends 2-3 of the brothers had when they started messing around with the two cousins and their friend.
Again, it was a bit much, but still entertaining and a good juicy read!

These guys seem so sloppy when they’re doing dirt that it’s hard to believe they haven’t been caught. Stony seems to be a problem for all of them so I’m hoping that a rift will be made to the point that they have to take it all down. The ending will be good only if TQ is taken out of the equation so the guys can really be forced to make some moves. I don’t see how the plan with Tekeya is supposed to play out but again if they weren’t so sloppy he wouldn’t be in that situation. This would be a great time for the father to hold Britian back so he can get back at Rhys and if TQ is gone or out of commission he can go after Kimberlyn to really get some action pumping into the story. Hopefully the next one is not boring and can hold the attention.

The brothers just can't catch a break... and summer with her dumb self all this time rhys was telling her he wasn't cheating which was true but up until she talked to chenaye after their fight she didn't believe him and she pushed hi, away and now that he has another woman she's mad like who does that...? And tekeya she tried to poison Britain but he switched the place just in case and now she wants to blame him for the murder of her child like she did that to herself I hate women like that and as far as Tq I hope that he handles his punk of a father because he only loves his sons for what they do to continue the family business and nothing more

And the plot thickens
This was still a little bit boring but at least we are getting a little bit more actions than just sex. I mainly loved the romance part and then the looking loyalty that the brothers have for each other and their women. Now they needed to step up. Feel so bad for Summer; looks like she is on the loosing side. That was one couple I truly didn't like nor could connect with.
Loved Lendsay and not really Mathikah and I definitely loved Brittain and Goldie but my bae was TQ. Kimberlyn was alright I guess.

Ms. Latrice is one of my favorite authors. However, I’m not feeling several things in this series. Let’s start with Summer. Can we say immature AF? She is so damn flighty and insecure. Next, I love Rhys, but a prostitute of all people? I’m not feeling Indyia. I’m glad that I’m almost done with this series. If I wasn’t so invested already, I would have been put this series down.

Ion have no kind of sympathy for Summer or how her new man treats her. She was way to insecure and now that Rhys has found someone he's really rocking with she can kiss getting Rhys back goodbye. A lot happened here. Summer got her wish but is she really happy. Rhys seems to have found happiness he couldn’t get with Summer. Len & Tikyah worked out their differences. But Len has a lot of dirt on him. Will the boss find out? TQ should have handled his boy. Happy for Goldie she got her Britain.
