Half the crew is back at Palm South.
The other half has graduated.

Jess, Ashlei, and Erin move downtown together after graduation. While Ashlei recovers from heartbreak and makes a new plan of attack, Erin is trying to survive law school -- and her new relationship. And after the explosive season finale of Ritual, Jess has found herself in quite the pickle.

Meanwhile at PSU, Bear and Adam are in their final semesters, which means one last Spring Break to rule them all. That's not the only thing on Bear's mind, though -- not after he has a realization that changes everything. And while Adam and Cassie are finally back on track, their next chapter may not be as easy.

Skyler and Kip are back together after a semester apart, but while they expected a fairy tale ending, a newcomer might throw a wrench in their plans.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. Her love for writing started at the ripe age of 10, and in 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.”

She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a hopeless romantic and found herself bursting at the seams with love stories she was eager to tell.

When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, hiking, yoga, spending quality time with her family (fur babies included) and soaking up the sweetness of life.

Hazed is the 6th book in the Palm South University Series and can not be read as a standalone as each story carries on through to the next.

It's always so much fun being back in this world. Hazed picks up right where Ritual (book 5) left off. WWe're thrown back into another season at PSU where half the crew are navigating their lives post graduation while the rest are still current students at Palm South University. Some relationships are tested, some are strengthened and some are just a roller coaster of emotions.

The flow of the story as usual is addicting, engaging and highly entertaining. I always find these books so easy to read & even though I flew through this book I was also a little underwhelmed by it. This is the 2nd last book in the series and it definitely read like it. It felt like a setup for a big series final yet to come.

We get a deeper dive into the main characters Jess, Skyler, Bear, Cassie, Adam, Ashlei and my forever favourite Erin. I found some of the storylines for specific characters didn't grip me as much as they have in previous seasons & 1 in particular just frustrated me to no end, but that's just me being nervous about how it will play out. This truly is a book best served when you jump right in and enjoy the ride.

As for the characters I still have plenty of thoughts :

Skyler - after book 4 I lost a bit of interest in Skyler's part of the story. I still like her & Kip but I'm not drawn to them however I actually really enjoyed how their story played out in Hazed. It added some of that drama that initially drew me into the series & I'm excited to see where it goes next.

Cassie & Adam - are forever bae's & I'm hoping they continue being their cute selves & are allowed to just be after everything they have been through (and put each other through) they deserve happiness and here's to them getting it.

Jess - yeah we are not even going to discuss it because I'll either cry or scream. I'm honestly not ready to see how it goes.

Bear - I love how things are finally falling into place for him. Seeing him with his family is everything and more. If his story keeps going the way it is I'll be one happy reader.

Ashlei - in previous books she was never my favourite. With a cast so big some of the people are bound to fall through the cracks & I've just never truly connected to Lei but oh my watching her become the Boss Babe she is was such a joy. This was one of the first times her character really shone for me.

Erin - beautiful, broken yet resilient and strong. I love her so much, always have always will. I know she isn't always everyone's favourite but I'm super protective of her & just want her to be happy.

I'm beyond excited to see where the series goes next and how it all wraps up in Greek (book 7). As much as I love these characters and this world I definitely think it's a great time for this gang of 7 to get one last hurrah & hopefully find their forever hea's and if there is ever a spin off with a new set of characters I'd be ok with that too.

*If you haven't read the other books, this may have spoilers as some characters are in new relationships or there are just some new things in their life.*

ahhhh it's so good to be back. It's always a pleasure catching up with these people and watch them go and fck something up. It's been a long journey since the first book, with the characters and my relationship with them. I love them all so so so much that they can just sit there and talk and I would be happy.

So, now to the actual review of the book.

I think this is the most calm one out of them all. There isn't as much drama, sex and plot twists as the others and honestly?? I don't care. I enjoyed it. It was nice watching them grow this semester. We saw how much all the changes affected them as a group and individually. This one did feel more mature, I'm glad. The challenges here are different from the others cause 3 of the main group are graduated, so of course it's different. Let's go through each of them.

Cassie
Finally, this girl has some PEACE, jesus. Her storyline was the most happy one, I'm actually not that worried about the obstacle she and Adam have in their future. They are solid. I hope they stay the same cause if not... KANDI I'M SUING.

Adam
He was the least seen here. We only got like 2 chapters from him or smth like that. I'm not mad about it, his time to shine and take the spotlight it's gone. And I mean it in the best way. He's got some peace. Yeah, he is worried but he'll be fine. I trust him. It was soooo nice watching some happy couple time between him and Cassie, they deserve it soooo much.

Jess
She's my girrrrrl. Loved her since the very beginning and damn is she in trouble. When THAT bomb dropped at the end of the last book I got worried about her. Cause I knew what she went through, damn I went through it with her, so naturally her storyline was one of the most anticipated for me. I gotta say... I don't know. I honestly can't choose between them. I like them both, there are pros and cons with both and I can't decide!!! I can't even say I'd be happy with either of them cause then I feel bad for the other sfjhjflsk. God help her cause I sure cannot.

Ashlei
YESSSSSS. OH GIRLIE I'M SO HAPPY FOR UUUU. Lei and me have had a long journey, but she is one of my faves. I LOVE HER. And her storyline with B was one of my favorites so when shit went down last semester I WAS CRUSHED. But hey, she fcking did it. I'm so happy for her and wish her the best. I'm assuming her HEA is the closest and I'm thrilled for her!

Bear
Bear baby, I was worried af on that first episode when you told us what you wanted to do. Cause my girl was finally happy. But YOU WERE AWESOMEEEEEEE. Best friend Bear to the rescue!!!! Literally. With everyone. He was alone here, which SHOCKER cause he was always with someone and I actually loved his chapters. Even though I'm super happy for how this ended for him on this semester, I wasn't super happy when he made his move... it was a douchey move tbh, but hey, he is happy now ig. Everything is going uphill for him and I'm glad, it was time.

Erin
GIRLIE I LOVE YOU AND I'M SORRY. I'm just....UGH. She and G were my favorite last season and goddamn it I'm sad. THAT LETTER. Jesus Christ... I hated how they approached it, though... like yeah, I also yelled "THAT MOTHERFUCKER" when she went looking for him, but then the letter happened... and while yeah, what a fucker, also... poor guy. I'm conflicted, cause I'm mad at him for pulling that shit on Erin after everything he said and promised and shit, but at the same time I'm glad he looked for help and recognized he wasn't the best for her and put himself first. What I didn't like was that the whole suicide thing went over their heads. Literally. Erin was just mad about him leaving her, like ???? girl???? did you even care about him?? yeah, be mad but at least give him a SPECK of thought no? She literally didn't acknowledge the fact that he was suicidal. The thing with Bear... I suspected it since the beginning and I'm happy she's giving it a shot, but I'm worried. She is not in the best headspace and I'm worried she's gonna end up hurting Bear. I hope I'm wrong and she is actually a million times better and she will try and be happy. I love her, I really do, I just didn't like her at that moment.

Sky
GIRL FUCK. As soon as she said "my doppelgänger walked in" I knew, I KNEW she was going to be a motherfucking problem. I get it. I'm not a jealous person and I hate that, usually, but like I get it. When the anniversary date night came and he didn't I WAS WORRIED. W O R R I E D. I didn't wanted to hate Kip, cause I LOVE KIP. So when what happens happened, I was relieved. Yeah, Kip messed up, but he didn't like FUCKED UP. I hope when he fixes it, Sky doesn't sticks in the whole jealous gf thing cause c'mon... we are past that now. I really fcking love Sky and Kip, I hope they don't mess things up more. Cause I'm gonna be pissed, you can't pull more shit than that after everything. I won't accept it nor allow it.

And that's it for the main characters, honestly this semester FLEW by. It was nice catching up with all of them and I had a great time. I'm so excited for the next and FINAL book, but also I don't want it. I don't want it to endddddd.

My favorite scenes will always be the reunions between all the girls, I love it so so so much. I feel like they are MY sisters. I loved how this book ended, I lovvveeeeeeeee those endings. It's such a great way to summarize and end the semester, I love it!!!!!

JESS

Well, at least I have it going on in the boyfriend department, right? Kade Brewer is everything every girl dreams of — hilarious, smart, driven, incredibly hot, and, thanks in large part to my training, an absolute god in the bedroom.

The problem?

I’ve barely talked to, let alone seen, him since we both left campus in December.

It’s been four weeks, and bless the sweet man, he’s given me my space. He understood when I said I just wanted to spend time with my family after graduation. He understood when I said I just needed some time to get the new place set up with the girls. He understood when I said I just needed time to focus on job applications.

I make an excuse, he says no problem.

The asshole.

If only he were demanding I face him, maybe I could be mad at him. Maybe I could blame all my icky feelings and this state I’ve found myself in on him.

Maybe I could admit the fact that the real reason I’ve been hiding away is because his big brother is the first man I ever loved, and he just swung back into my life like a wrecking ball.

God, just the thought of that horrid event has me groaning and covering my head with my covers again.

Yes, it’s ten past noon and I’m still in bed. Don’t come for me.

When the darkness covers me, it’s easy to go back to that day. It was my last Kappa Kappa Beta chapter. Erin passed the torch down to Skyler and we were all ready to go party at Ralph’s. I was ready to ditch it altogether in favor of doing extremely dirty things to Kade.

Until we got to where he’d parked his car at the Alpha Sigma house and I’d found Jarrett leaning up against it.

Jarret fucking Locke.

That bald, tattooed, beautiful bastard was the absolute last person I expected to see, and when he called Kade “brother,” I passed out.

Literally, blacked out and hit the concrete.

I guess it was my body’s defense mechanism. Hurry, knock the bitch out so she doesn’t have to deal with this!

And here we are, a month later, and I’m still living that motto.

In all fairness, I really did take the holiday break to spend time with my family, and I really have been setting up in the new place and job searching.

Did I really need to blow my boyfriend off in the process? No.

But this is my M.O. When something hurts or is confusing, I run from it.

Clearly, I haven’t stepped into adulthood quite yet.

My phone buzzes incessantly, keeping me from slipping into my second nap for the day. When I glance at the screen, I see Front Desk on the caller ID.

“Good afternoon, Miss Vonnegut,” Herb says. He’s one of the associates who mans the front desk area in the lobby, signing for packages and letting us know when we have guests.

“Afternoon, Herb,” I reply with a fake British accent. I don’t really know how it started, but when I met him, I pretended to be British after he greeted me so formally. I’m ninety percent sure he doesn’t think I’m actually British, but it’s still fun to keep up the façade.

“A Mr. Kade Brewer is here for you. Shall I send him up?”

My eyes bulge out of the sockets as I throw the covers off and jump out of bed. “Uh,” I say, taking one look at myself in the mirror before promptly cringing. “Can you give me five minutes?”

I don’t use the accent.

Damn it, my image is ruined.

“How about ten?”

“You’re my favorite, Herb.”

He chuckles before ending the call, and I promptly grab a brush and comb through my tangled mess of hair. Once it’s secured in a high ponytail, I strip off my sweats and throw on leggings and a sports bra, as if I was doing something active or have plans to. A bit of mascara and tinted moisturizer later, and I’m satisfied.

When I’m looking slightly less hellish, I survey my room, picking up the loose articles of clothing and tossing them in my closet before I haphazardly make my bed. It’s not perfect, but not half-bad when two loud knocks sound at the front door.

My feet feel like lead as I drag them down the hall. My room is the last one at the very end, with Erin and Ashlei’s framing up either side. My dad was an absolute gem to understand that we’d not only need our own bedrooms, but our own bathrooms, too. And the living area is one giant room where the kitchen, dining room, and sitting area sit as one.

My favorite part of the entire condo is the gas fireplace that serves as a sort of centerpiece under the television and in front of the giant white couch the girls and I picked out together. It’s actually cold today — well, cold for Florida, anyway, at a brisk fifty-seven degrees — and so the fireplace crackles softly as I pass it on my way to the front door.

Steeling a breath, I force a smile and open it, launching myself into Kade’s arms as soon as I see him.

“Hey, you!” I say, wrapping my arms around his neck and inhaling his scent. “What a surprise!”

It’s a show at first, my lame attempt to assure him I’m fine, but the moment I’m in his arms and that familiar scent of eucalyptus that always seems to cling to him finds me, I nearly break. I forgot what it was like to have his beastly biceps holding me close, to feel his hard chest softening just for me, to hear the relieved exhale that always came when he held me.

I swallow down the urge to cry right then and there.

“Hi,” Kade says — cautiously, like I’m a rabid animal head butting him for pets after just trying to bite his arm off the day before. “Uh, yeah, I just… I haven’t heard from you so…” He frowns a little but tries to smile through it. “Thought I’d just pop by.”

God, if the smell of him wasn’t enough to undo me, the sight of him is doing the trick. I’m not sure how it’s possible, but he seems even more ripped than the last time I saw him, his biceps bulging against the sleeves of his olive-green, long-sleeve shirt. That buzzcut he’s always had has grown out a bit, giving him a boyish look; his brown hair now mussed like he’s been dragging his hands through it.

I instantly want to do the same.

“Well, I’m glad you did. Come in,” I say, holding the door open.

Kade walks in with his hands in his pockets, his warm brown eyes scanning the length of the windows. He lets out a whistle. “Well, I’d say this is a step up from the KKB house.”

“All thanks to Daddy. Though, if all goes according to plan, I’m hoping the girls and I will be able to afford this place on our own this time next year.”

“How’s the job hunting going?” Kade asks, looking at the couch like he’s going to sit, but then he doesn’t.

“Good,” I lie, folding my arms over myself across the room from him.

“That’s good.”

We stand there for a long pause, Kade watching me and me watching the floor. Finally, I let out a sigh, lifting my gaze to his. “Kade, I’m sorry I’ve been avoiding you.”

“Ah, there’s the truth.”

I shake my head. “I just… seeing Jarrett… finding out he was your brother,” I add with wide eyes. “It was a lot for me. On top of graduating and moving out and…”

“Hey, I get it,” Kade says, moving a little closer to me. “I figured you needed the space, and I’ve been giving it to you, haven’t I?”

I nod.

“But it’s been a month, Jess. And the last time we talked, you said…” He swallows, and then laughs, shaking his head at himself. “God, I sound like such a pussy.”

“You don’t,” I insist, and I cross the last bit of space between us, sliding my arms around him and clasping my hands behind his back. “I said I wanted to keep dating, that I wanted to see where this was going.”

Kade frowns. “And do you still mean it?”

Hazed is the sixth book in Kandi's PSU series. This is my guilty pleasure read and has been from the start of this series. I absolutely look forward to these releases each time. And I devour these books in one day.

Hazed starts out the spring semester for these characters and continues on from where we left off at Ritual. There a few more graduating this semester and leaving a couple behind for one last semester in the fall. There was a lot of growth in this book and a lot more emotion and angst as these characters get older.

As I do with all my reviews in this series, I like to give you a quick rundown of each character. Not on what each endures during this semester but the emotions I feel from them.

Cassie – the growth in Cassie, not just in herself, but in her relationship with Adam, is really monumental in this book.

Asheli – her vulnerability in this book is really highlighted in this book. But I love how fierce she is and her drive is something that I love so much about her

Jess – I relate to her so much, it's truly scary. I have the deepest connection to her amongst all these characters. She's the one that I see constantly growing in each book and I love that. I see a lot of myself in Jess which is probably why I have the deepest connection to her.

Skyler – we finally see a crack in her tough exterior. But I absolutely still adore her and curious to see what happens next with her and Kip. I love her feistiness and how she does not walk away from tough situations.

Erin – she's the one who rocked me the most this time. The growth of her is inspiring. She's still raw from her past experiences, but she's also found her inner strength and her light is back. Gah – she really got me in the feels this time.

Adam – he's my heart of gold. He always make my heart flutter. Sometimes I wonder if he's almost too perfect but I would not change a thing about him.

Bear – this strong yet soft and extremely protective man gets me every time. I love seeing him open his mind and heart to second chances with the many facets of his life. This allows him to be real with himself and others and that just made me love him more.

Gah – this series is one that I will always highly recommend to people to read. It's a great series and truly one that everyone will enjoy. I love that Kandi does not hold back on the real and authentic aspects these characters go through. I love that she brings out different emotions in me with each character and what they go through. It speaks volumes to her writing that a reader can connect to so many different characters in one series.

We have one more semester to go before this series is over. I cannot wait to see what happens to all of them and where they end up at the end. PSU is series that you need to read. I promise you, you won't regret it.

Overall Grade: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Riveting, realistic, and rife with steam, Kandi Steiner’s Hazed is everything you love about her Palm South University series. Hazed brings us right back to where she left off in Ritual. The crew, Adam, Cassie, Skyler, Jess, Erin, Bear, and Ashlei, have returned after winter break. In this story, Jess, Erin, and Lei have graduated and moved into the real world. As each of them encounters various struggles, it’s clear that life didn’t necessarily get easier after graduation. Bear and Adam are on the cusp of graduation with one semester of Palm South U to go, while Skyler and Cassie will finish up at the end of the school year. Each of Steiner’s characters is struggling in some way with the daunting nature of their future, and it casts this interesting shadow on the series, the knowledge that the Palm South U series is coming to an end. At the conclusion of Hazed, I find myself excited for the final book of the series while also feeling already nostalgic for the wide-eyed characters we found in Rush, the first book of the series.

In two words, Hazed is all about second chances. I am always amazed when I read one of the Palm South U books at Steiner’s ability to juggle so many different perspectives and stories. It truly reads like episodic reality television. I think what I find most interesting about Hazed is how invested I am in Steiner’s characters. It makes sense given the broad and ambitious nature of this series. At the end of this book, Steiner leaves you with a bit of a cliffhanger that makes your stomach feel knotted up. At least it did for me. While Hazed isn’t the end of this series, it is the book before the end, which feels ominous in wrapping up these stories. I’m hoping the Palm South U series ends like a Jane Austen novel with everyone getting the perfect happy ending. When you get to the end of Hazed, Steiner brilliantly makes you doubt that. Even more, she reminds you why you can’t help but ADORE her stories as they burrow into your heart, making you want more of the drama and the love and the steam and the happy endings.

If you’re the type who loves the drama, who adores reality television or serialized television, or who loves new adult romances, then you will love Hazed and its compatriots in the Palm South University series. But get ready...I think this series is going to end with a bang.

Hazed is the sixth book in the incredibly addictive Palm South University series by Kandi Steiner.

I LIVE for these books! They are fast-paced, and full of so much tension, angst and drama! I am constantly left guessing and wondering who will get a HEA, and who may be left hurting.

I’ve followed this series for a long time, and what I love the most is that with each book my favourites change. There’s always a couple or a specific character you feel ultimately drawn to, and in this book it was all about Erin and Bear for me. (last book Adam, Cassie and Ashlei).

Steiner writes University life as if you are living it, and I always feel this giddy sense of fun and nostalgia with these books. Like I am vicariously living my youth again through these fictional people who know how to party hard and fall in love even harder.

Erin and Bear utterly captivated me. Their story is raw, their connection deep, and I was rooting for them! Their attraction is clear, their closeness undeniable and their history is something which cannot be erased. It was just utterly beautiful and gave me all the chills.

I am also obsessed with Ashlei and Brandon. In this book I got to see a different side to Ashlei and I freaking loved it. I loved how she had the strength and power to appear confident, when inside she was cracking and breaking apart. She is bad ass! If you’ve ever had a break up which hit hard, then Ashlei is your relatable gal. She is the one who to me constantly slays, and there’s something about Mr Church which makes you FEEL each and every one of her emotions. Soooo many good moments with these two, but I most definitely not spoil a single one. You need to buckle up and settle in for the ride.

These characters all feel like my best friends, I find myself uttering along to the books saying things like ‘that’s so Jess’ or ‘oh no Skyler!’ I am addicted and on the edge of my seat. I cannot cope with the suspense, and I NEED to know how it all ends.

If you ship love triangles and non-stop drama and like books which are told from differing perspectives, then this is going to be a read for you. You can read these books as standalones, but I promise you, you WILL want to read all six in their entirety.

I love how the chapters are split into episodes like a true literary soap opera, and there’s something for everyone. There’s love, lust, passion, pain and not to mention some completely gut-wrenching moments which you cannot help but react to.

Just amazing and the cover is to die for!

„It’s us against the world.”

This is the moment when I start to feel anxious because the end of this amazing adventure is coming and I can feel it in my bones. This series is a real rollercoaster, full of ups and downs, and its heroes have become close to my heart. Some have already started their careers, while others are slowly saying goodbye to PSU. One thing is sure- the last year at Palm South University is unforgettable!

This part of the series is still angsty and action-packed, filled to the brim with unexpected twists and turns, but it’s also so touching and heartwarming. I loved to be back with this crazy bunch and to witness some of their last moments in college. Some couples made me cry. Some of them made me incredibly happy. I was mad, shocked, moved and entertained. These young people have been through a lot, together and individually, and I’m so proud of the people they’ve become.

Side note: I knew that Bear was my favorite for a reason. Sigh.

I am aware that with the release of Greek I will have to say goodbye to Adam, Cassie, Skyler, Jess, Bear, Erin and Ashlei, and just thinking about it makes me feel sad. But I'm sure Kandi will give them a wonderful graduation and I'm here for it! I can't wait!

It's like putting on my old favorite sweater when I jump back into Kandi Steiner's PSU books. It's a world I feel comfortable in and characters that I absolutely love. I was genuinely sad when I turned the last page of this book because I know there is only one left :( I have loved this world that Kandi created and am somewhat addicted to it. There is a little bit for everyone as all these characters have such different stories. I will admit, Jess and Ashlei may be my favorite to read about. The drama in their stories were just so darn angsty and continue to be for one of them. I CANNOT wait to find out what happens in the next book.

I love the girl power in this book. I love the friendships. I love the romances. I love the platonic friendships. I love the world of college that Kandi has set this in. I love the setting of Florida. I just love the world of PSU!

This is just what I needed! This is the sixth book in the palm south university series and I loved being back in the PSU community! I loved this book so much!

I loved the drama, the angst, all the different tropes that we get in these books. I loved coming back to my favorite characters! Bear, cassie, adam, skylar, I just loved all of them. I adored how much character development we got in this book. They all just grew up so much, and you can totally tell by the way that they handled every situation in this book. Erin was amazing! She has gone through a lot of things and I loved her so much in this book. I also adored cassie and adam so much! And skyler and jess were amazing! Just like always. I also loved Ashlei, I wanted her to be happy so badly and I'm so happy with the way that everything happened in this book. And finally, Bear. If I loved him before, now I'm just obsessed with him. He's just perfect for me, he loves his friends so much and he's always there for them, no matter what and that just makes me love him even more.

I can't wait for the seventh book in this series!

Gosh, this series is everything! It gets better book by book and with each chapter I get more and more attached to the characters. It's addictive and I truly wish to watch this as a TV show!

If you loved the books before Hazed, there is no way you would ever want to miss this one here.
Kandi Steiner nailed it, again!

I received an ARC in exchange for a review.

I just can’t get enough of this series and the stories of Bear, Erin, Jess, Ashlei, Skylar, Cassie and Adam.

In this book, you very much get a feel of endings and beginnings. Many of our group have either graduated from Palm South and starting their careers or they’re on the brink of graduating and contemplate, aging what’s the next chapter.

Ashlei is kicking it at her new job, but still runs into Brandon and realizes her heart still has not healed from their breakup. She is badass and keeps her eye on the prize until she gets what she wants!

Jess has a big decision to make! She has sweet Kade who has brought her back to life, but we know Jarrett reappears from the last book causing all kinds of trouble!

Skylar and Kip…these two have some sexy times together, but soon enough, Kip’s job and other people start getting in the way…I hope these two can work it out!

Cassie and Adam… these two will go though some challenges… but they’ve been tested many times over bringing a strong foundation to their relationship! Whatever is in store for them…their love will survive!

“From the first moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you’d be mine. Even if I didn’t realize at the time what the feeling was, I can look back now and say with confidence that the way the world tilted, the way my breath caught, the way everything before that moment seemed to fade away — it was my body and soul’s recognition of forever standing right in front of me.”
Ugghhh…it just doesn’t get more romantic and heartfelt than that!

Erin… she still struggles in thus book, but Bear remains her rock! He holds her up, he’s steadfast and provides that support that she needs!

I’m rooting for everyone to get their HEA… but these two…I won’t divulge, because this series needs to be read, but 81%… kill me now, I was a sobbing mess!!!
“Don’t let me go if there’s even an ounce of you that feels the same way I do.”

Uggghh, what happens next, I threw my first in the air and yelled “Yes!” I’ve been waiting for this for sooooo long!!!

The dynamics, sisterhood and brotherhood in this book, this series is nostalgic! The bond they all share makes this one of the best series I’ve ever read!

„Reading This Book feels like coming home“
I have never anticipated a book more than I did „Hazed“ by @Kandi Steiner. And let me tell you it delivered. It was all that I‘d hoped for and more than I could have ever imagined! Diving back into the Palm South University world made me feel like I reconnected with friends I haven’t seen for the longest time but once we got together we picked up right where we left of last time I saw them. Thank you Kandi, for this amazing feeling!
„Hazed is the 6th book in the PSU Series so I can’t give too much away without spoiling you for the entire series but for those of you who have read the previous books let me give you some cliff notes:
🌴Not the whole PSU crew is on campus.
🌴I have never shipped a couple this hard in my life.
🌴I am incredibly proud of Erin.
🌴I am sad for Skyler even though I have faith her situation will sort itself out.
🌴 I jumped in the air and swooned for Cassie
🌴I admire how driven Ashlei is professionally and how she never stops before she gets what she wants in her personal life.
🌴 If I were Jess I wouldn’t know how to make a decision.
If you want to find out what exactly hides behind my cryptic bullet points you don‘t have to wait much longer! „Hazed“ releases on March 25th 🌴☀️😍
To conclude I would like to give out two awards to these amazing characters:
Nummer one goes to Bear for being the most understanding loving and caring person during this entire book I love you!
Nummer two goes to Erin for being my favorite character in „Hazed“ I admire your strength!

Wow. This season was another rollercoaster of emotions... The final chapters had my heart racing, and I was literally bawling 😭 So much happened!! Some great, some awful, but tear worthy nonetheless…

Main highlights:

1. The love triangle between Jess, Kade and Jarred… I can’t deal 😭 #teamKade (✨that dream tho 🥵✨)

2. I LOVE Gavin’s character. He is so quirky and fun… …and he broke my heart 😭😭😭💔

3. So proud of Ashley!! She makes a big move and takes back control of her life. Love that she knows how to ask for what she wants!! 💪😤✨

4. Bear finally shoots his shot. He truly is a protector. I love him so much!! He’s perfect for a certain someone 🥰 Also… seeing him with his family was so heartwarming 😭❤️

5. Adam and Cassie are such adorable hot messes 😂 They seem to be heading in the right direction, but the future may present some obstacles…

6. Kip and Skyler have to face a big issue of their own… …and it broke my heart, tbh. They are a favorite couple of mine. That was hard to read 😭 I am jumping straight into the next season, cuz I need to see what happens 😭😭😭💔

7. Can we talk about the steamy scenes in this book?? I mean, the entire series is 🔥 but dang, there were some favorites in here for sure 🥵🥵🙈🙈

🎧 Audiobook narration, like the others in the series, was top notch 🔝💖

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Hazed by Kandi Steiner is book 6 of the Palm South University series. This can only be read in order. This book is like watching a favorite 90's drama series like Beverly Hills, 90210.

This series follow a group of friends and their intertwined lives and relationships. The age range of the characters is from 3rd year of college to a couple of years out of college. These characters are learning to navigate the uncomfortable waters. This book has all the emotions these young people feel. This book has moments of sweetness mixed with a dash of hot and sexy.

Also, can we talk about this cover?!?! WOW!!

If I believed in guilty pleasures this would definitely be one of them. I love this series and it's one that I go back and re-read.

This series! I think I'm left speechless after every book because they make me feel so many things that I don't know where to start! I loved this book. I love these characters and I love every snippet we can get about them. This book, as per usual, made me happy, mad, jealous, nervous, scared, and just plain a mess. There were so many highs I had been anxiously waiting for and yet some new lows that made my heart break all over again. We have one more book to bring everything where I'd like to see it and I know Kandi is going to deliver. I can't believe this series is almost over and if you haven't started yet, you're missing out because I'm addicted to this series and will probably be a blabbering mess when I read the last page of Greek, the final book. More amazing work by Kandi!

The best dang college series to ever not hit my screen :P

How I've missed my PSU peeps! This series is seriously addicting.
As I've come to expect from Kandi and par for the course for the PSU crowd, Hazed has it all: Angst, Drama, Love, Lust, Heartbreak, Hope, Secrets, Lies and twists galore.
By now, each and every character is etched in my heart, and I deeply felt all their stories, struggles, highs and lows. I can't believe another class of my favorite people are now graduates!
With one final year to go, and one final season still ahead, I'm praying for HEAs or at least HFNs all around.

5 stars and one more season

I’m balling my eyes out with this one people! PSU has been an anchor for me for so long! With each season I fall madly in love with this crew but with each book I know we are closer to the end!

Hazed is the precipice for this group! Some are finished with school and off into the real world while others still try to figure out their futures as graduation draws near!

I have loved being a part of every step of the way for this group and I am blown away by the surprises in this book! I always feel I know a characters storyline but Kandi finds a way to shock me silent! Big things are coming for my favorite couples and I am so ready (but also not ready because I could read them forever)!

If you haven’t started the PSU series and are a fan of drama, angst, friendship and love well then what are you waiting for? Start this amazing series because it’s my favorite addiction!

How is it possible for this series to get better everytime a new book releases?
I‘m seriously obsessed with all these characters and can‘t wait to read the next one which will sadly be the last one for this group of friends.

I enjoyed each and every character immensly. I fet their struggles, their heartbreak and all the other emotions that went through their chapters.
I‘m so ready to see everyone‘s Happy End. But I‘m also sad to see them go.

This is such a unique series that you need to read!

Where are we going to go from here?
All of our characters (Erin, Ashlei, Skyler, Cassie, Jess, Bear and Adam) have been through so much over the course of the previous 5 'seasons', but the drama is not quite over. With a few of them graduated and a few more on their way there, these 7 are headed into the "real world".
It's been fun seeing these college students start in one spot and grow and learn over the course of their years at PSU. They still have so much to figure out, but they are figuring it out.
After how we left the previous book with the bomb Kandi Steiner gave us about Jess and her predicament, I was ready for the dramatics of her life. And she did not disappoint. Hold on tight for that one.
Cassie and Adam are as cute as ever, but things are only beginning for them. It's going to get a bit more tough before it gets easy, but they have the tools to succeed.
Erin has had so much happen to her, but I was so happy to see her finally happy. But Ms Steiner knows angst and she knows who needs it and she tortures us.
Ashlei, she's my boo. I just love her. She has what it takes. That's all I'll say about her, but I'm excited for what's to come.
Bear. That man needs to go to therapy with Erin. He's had a lot happen to him and around him and I think it would help. Especially once he comes to some realizations.
And finally there's Skyler. SHe's my favorite and I hated this season for her. Loved and hated it. But this is all about the journey and sometimes the journey takes many twists and turns.
Since this is the next to last book, you can feel the build up of everything coming to an end. The drama and angst is still there, but we get to see these 7 bringing really shine and grow into the adults they were meant to be.
The audio and the performers have really grown on me. I love hearing characters that sound their age and really making me believe they are the characters they are depicting. This is a series meant to be seen/heard. It's a show and I feel that with the audio. Can't wait to see where the final season will bring us!

Overall Thoughts on Hazed:

- FINALLY, Erin and Bear have found their way to each other!!! I knew something was off about Gavin and I'm happy Erin isn't dating him anymore. Erin and Bear have always had a deeper connection that I look forward to seeing them develop in the last book.

- I'm not sure how Jess is going to choose between Kade and Jarrett. Yes, she has a history with Jarrett and I looooved them together...but I love how cute Jess and Kade are together. I kind of want it to be a why choose situation where she can have both brothers, but I don't think that's how it's going to work out.

- Glad Ashlei and Brandon are back together! I've loved them together from jump and Brandon needed to pull his head out of his ass. Yes, Ashlei was wrong but she wanted to fight for their relationship and I'm glad she did. 100% support them moving in together.

- Cassie and Adam kind of bore me at this point, BUT I'm still rooting for their relationship. I can already tell their conflict in the last book will be the long-distance thing since Adam will be a Field Exec for the national frat while Cassie finishes up at PSU.

- Dang, Kip is dumb if he didn't think Natalia was trying to break up him and Skyler. He messed up when he forgot about their anniversary so I'm intrigued to see how they work out their differences in the last book.

- Very happy Jess finally found a job!

I'm soooo sad this series is almost over!!!

The nostalgia that rushes through me when I pick up a PSU book, I love the memories that innindate me during and after I read this series.

I always feel like I'm visiting old friends when I pick up a PSU book and I can hardly wait to catch up with each character as I dive back in. In Hazed we join the gang as they return back to school for spring semester, while a few others have recently graduated and are just beginning their lives out in the real world.

While Jess, Ashlei and Erin are recent graduates of PSU and figuring out how to adult in the afterlife of college, things may not exactly be as easy as what they expected, but no one said adulting was easy.

Adam, Bear, Skyler and Cassie are heading into their last semester or their last year of school. Trying to enjoy every last moment while time is flying by can be difficult when making your final decisions as to what happens next, but this gang is making every moment count.

There is only one more book after Hazed and it makes me weepy to think that the PSU kids are growing up and becoming full grown adults. Kandi really nails so many college experiences with each book in this entire series, hence the overwhelming nostalgia I experience everytime I read one of these books. They do need to be read in order, so please start from the beginning and enjoy the full experience.

First off I must state that if you have not started the PSU series you are missing out big time!!!

I must admit that the release of Hazed is a little bittersweet. On the one hand I got to go back to Palm South and some of my very favorite characters. Then on the other hand I know the end is in sight. Just one more book before all my beloved PSU peeps get their HEA's.

Hazed really brought so many things together while throwing some more bombshells at us. There were a few what the hell's yelled at my kindle.

If you didn't love Bear before be prepared to have your hearts stolen. This is the guy you want to have in your corner when things get tough. Ladies there are some heart melting moments dished out by Bear this season. The rest of the crew is back in full force and be prepared to be wowed by everything Ms. Steiner gave us this time round. There were some twists that had me like woah. Some were YAY twists and some were OH NO YOU DIDN'T twists. This one filled me with all the excitement I usually expect from from reading a KS book.

Now if we hype up this series enough to catch the attention of some big TV executive then my world would be complete. Can you even imagine PSU brought to life on the big screen?!?!

It is insane how much I love these characters! I now know why this is Kandi's passion project. I forgot how much I missed them until I started reading this book.

I adored this book. It's the 6th book in the series and it shows a whole different side to Adam, Cassie, Bear, Erin, Sky, Jess and Ashlei. It shows how much they have grown and the frustrations that come from leaving college and going into adulthood.

As per usual, I loved all the drama and angst and a little bit of heartbreak that is in this season. I loved how we see the struggles everyone goes through and the way they handle whatever situations they encounter. Every single one of them have had to deal with hard decisions this season - where to go to school next, what career path to take, to stay in Florida or not.

It's hard to write a review without spoiling some major things that happen this season. It was another great season and I will be so sad when this series finishes. However, I can't wait for the 7th book!

I am still waiting for the TV show to be made lol

I definitely recommend this book and this series overall.

Thank you, Kandi for providing me with an ARC in return for my honest opinion.

Whew! Hazed just knocked my socks off!! I LOVE this series. I've read every book Kandi has written and I waited way too long to start this series but once I did I was addicted!! The PSU books read fast and they are high drama and I live for them! Fair warning Hazed cannot be read as a stand-alone.

Hazed picks up shortly after Ritual ended. Some of our favorite characters are adjusting to their new lives and others are tying up loose ends and trying to plan for what's next. Hazed includes all of the elements I love about this series, whether it's relationship drama, those long lasting friendships or just the nostalgia of being in college again. At about 80% into this book, I was sitting here on the edge of my seat. A major series payoff just happened and I'm balling my eyes out and then what does Kandi do? She rips my heart wide open again and now I have to wait for the next and final book in this series.

I can't wait to see how this all ends but then I'm going to be so sad that it's over. If you're looking for some drama and fun this is the series for you!!

4.75 Stars Before I start I just wanna say that this is the 6th book in the Palm South University series and it can't be read as a standalone. As such there's not much I can say without spoiling it. But what I can say is that the cast of characters feels like an old friend group and I was stoked to spend time with them again. I've had my favourites throughout (looking at you Erin, Bear and Cassie) and they remain my favourite to this day and I did get a tad emotional considering my time with them is coming to an end. But as always this was angst filled, stuffed with drama and serving me every trope I could need in one place. It's never a bad idea to spend time with PSU and this time was no different. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this and all opinions are my own.
