20 books2 followers Being born in Georgia in the late 1960’s during a time of historic change helped to greatly shape Mr. Moore’s attitudes and views on the world. A lot could be said on this subject, but there are two key factors that definitely had a major impact. The biggest was that he was a part of the first generation to always know that man had walked on the moon. To people of his age space travel was never fiction and just something that was taken for granted, and always a part of reality.
The other factor to shape Mr. Moore was not so much what was, but what was not. He was not of a generation that was considered Baby Boomer and not anything else that followed either. Due to small numbers, people in his age range were largely overlooked by the advertising community that was obsessed with Boomer nostalgia. In the end one could almost count this as a blessing because it meant that people like Mr. Moore never had a target on the back of their heads and were largely free to form opinions without the constant bombardment of a huge media machine. As a result, they formed different kinds of attitudes about life. This helped to set a course, but it did not limit it and Mr. Moore demonstrates this with what you see in the pages of his books.
He began writing at an early age and had published his first play by age 16. He took up music professionally for a time and was also active in sports even if by his own admission he was never any good at it. Mr. Moore began taking college courses at the age of 14 and eventually enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17. This was followed by 24 years in Law Enforcement where he did nearly every job one can do in that profession. These years afforded Mr. Moore the opportunity to learn people, and what makes them tick. This information became invaluable as a writing resource which had remained a part time job throughout.
Now retired, the part time job has become full time work. Over the years he had written many novels but never pursued publishing. Now this oversite has been corrected and we can all enjoy many of these books with more to come.

Dry, but good
Reads more like a text book about an alternative history. Your good what happened. Still I enjoyed the what if of the book. If like book one should enjoy book two. Does need a refresher of book one hard to remember some the the details in book one

A fascinating concept but the lack of editing/proofreading makes for a distracting read.
