NEVER DAUNTED

Rate this book
In my life, I have made many mistakes. Understanding this simple fact helps me to move forward and progress through life. As far back as I can remember I have always been a little different. Hardheaded as many would say. This is my great learning curve. Because I would rather put my hand in the fire to see if it were hot, instead of just taking your word for it. This has built me into the man I am today. My character is well defined from my mistakes and I would not trade one moment for the world. I believe that each person in the world has a destiny or mission in life. Something they are meant to do while they are alive. Helping, protecting, and even hurting others can bring a person closer to their destiny. Each event in a person’s life has a purpose. Preparing them for something later. If you pay close attention, you can even see the curves in their timeline. I believe every type of person is forged in this manner. Be it good, bad, weak, or strong. We are all made by important events that shaped and molded us from what we were into what we are today. I am not the same person I was 20 years ago, and I hope I will not be the same person 20 years from now. So why is this important? If you’re going to understand my story, first you must understand how I think. I am an American soldier, and like every other soldier in the world, I was forged through dedication and determination. Improvising, adapting, and overcoming all obstacles in my path. Of course, this is the mind set you will find in all military members that take pride in what they do for this country. Most military inherit this style of thinking from the branch they joined and the training inside that branch. But for me, the mind set of never give up started long before my time in the military. yes, I went through basic and I excelled while I was on active duty. I even have two combat tours to Iraq. But my training came much earlier in my life, way before the Army was even a thought in my mind. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

What an awesome book.

Very seldom do I find a book that I can not put down. NEVER DAUNTED kept me wanting to find out more. I could not put the pad down. It was an awesome read about a young man's life, so much darkness being turned into pure light. A must read if I say so myself.
