Finding Mrs. Claus

Rate this book
Christmas is more than a tradition with my family; it’s a business. My grandparents opened a store seventy-five years ago that celebrates it year-round. I know it sounds amazing, but it’s not.

You see… my name is Shane.

Shane Claus and I own a Christmas store in Cherry Grove, SC.
Yes, at the beach.

But this year, I’ll be spending the holidays in the snow, or so my daughter Sophie hopes! We lost her mom five years ago, and for the first time since, she’s asking for a present.

To visit the town of Santa Claus, Indiana.

Sophie is convinced we’re related to “The Santa Claus,” and after writing a letter to him, she’s asked to deliver it in person. To my surprise, Santa informs me Sophie is asking for something he can’t give.

My daughter has brought me here to find her a new mom and me... a wife.

So, here I am, hoping to find Mrs. Claus.

Oh my what a sweet holiday romance by the lovely Leaona. Get ready for a trip to Santa Claus Indiana and be whisked away in the magic of the season. Shane Claus and his young daughter are on a Christmas holiday. Shane is a widower and running his family business back in South Carolina has kept him busy. A chance meeting at the local tree farm has just made their trip a bit brighter. Bree Snow is finishing up her business degree and home for the holiday. She has been keeping herself busy at the family Christmas tree farm when she meets the most delightful dad and daughter. The pull toward them is immediate and this town may be even more magical than they thought. What a sweet, funny sexy read !!

Finding Mrs. Claus is a sweet, feel good Holiday romance with a single father and his adorable daughter looking for their missing piece.

Shane and his daughter take a break and head to the town of Santa Claus for the holidays in search of that Christmas magic. Bree is a temp worker in the town and just kind of fills in wherever the help is needed, which means she continually runs into Shane.

There is an instant connection between Bree and Shane and I loved the chemistry between the two of them. The connection Bree had with Shane’s daughter is also extremely sweet.

Finding Mrs. Claus is a quick holiday read with no drama and will just leave you smiling. If you’re looking for a holiday themed single dad romance and a magical Christmas town this is one to check out!

This was a very, very short read. It was really sweet, I liked the characters a lot. The writer made the town that was visited so full of whimsy, I want to visit. Lots of Christmas Magic, if you go in with that mindset, you’ll enjoy this sweet book. If you don’t, you may not. There were spelling and grammar issues throughout. Although those aren’t a dealbreaker for me, I know that there are some of you that hate those. Be aware.

Bottom line, it’s a cute Christmas read that has a precocious child that you can’t help but love along with a sweet love story.

I liked this and the theme behind it was a little sad but also sweet with how Shane tries and give Sophie what she needs. I’m a sucker for a single dad. I liked him with Bree but sometimes the conversations were confusing as to who was speaking or seemed like something was missing. It would jump. The way Sophie was written seemed like she was much older than 7 too which made the conversations humorous and I just felt in love with her. Overall it's sweet with a little steam and Christmas romance.

Shane is a single dad who is just trying to make it through the holidays. He recognizes that his daughter seems to need a little bit more this Christmas, but is not sure as to what exactly it is that she needs.

Bree is a temp worker in Santa Claus, Indiana. She sort of fills in where needed. And she just might be needed with the Clays family.

Magic always seems to happen around Christmas time in Santa Claus.

This was a quick and fast paced book that I listened to. I am new to this author and will be checking out her other books. Shane, Sophie, and Bree were all great characters. I loved Sophie and how she wanted a mother to help her father. The single dad trope is one that I am growing to like more, so seeing it in this book made me happy. The ending of the book was really good and I hope the characters have joy and happiness after the book.

This is a very sweet Christmas love story—a widower and his little girl falling for someone they meet in a Christmas trip. Sophie is a riot, especially for seven years old. I love the interactions with Shane, Sophie, and Bree. They are really funny. I just plain love this story. This is the third book I read from the Christmas of Love set and this is my favorite of the three.

A feel good Christmas book

This is a great quick read. Shane never knew what he was missing until he took his daughter Sophie to Santa Claus for Christmas. Bree was like a shining light. The moment they met the chemistry started. I loved this Holiday read.

Amazing fast read. Shane brings his daughter Sophie to his home town Santa Claus. Sophie has a wish from Santa and hopes it comes true for her to find her dad happiness. Will there be a Christmas miracle and Shane can find a Mrs. Claus and Sophie a mother?

I thought the idea behind the book was clever and cute, but it was a mess. I didn’t find the dad to be very grumpy. The daughter’s speech seemed too old for her age. And there were way too many mistakes throughout. But, it’s a quick read if you are looking for a short Christmas story.
