I hate rich men. I avoid them like the plague. But when my best friend begs me to deliver flowers from her small shop to the desk of a mega-CEO because she's too sick to do it herself... I agree. I wish I hadn't. The second I meet Keenan Silverman, my heart and mind are at war. He's gorgeous, he radiates an intimidating aura, and his voice is pure silk to my ears. He's also the epitome of everything I hate. HATE. Did I say hate? He's clearly obsessed with me; he keeps finding ways to force us together in the same room. Keenan believes he can break me down by exposing me to our undeniable chemistry. He's right. And when we finally kiss, I realize I'm as obsessed as he is. Will everything fall apart when our different worlds clash?
This was pretty good and steamy as hell. I loved Keenan, but Justine pissed me off. She almost ruined everything with her assumptions. It's funny how the people always screaming for compassion and tolerance are the most intolerant. I'm glad she dropped her judgments and gave Keenan a chance.
We’re going to fall one way or another. I want to fall into her.
Ugh what a line! This book was great. It was so much fun to read and let me tell you it was steamy. I found it really enjoyable and it’s going on my re-read shelf.
This is my favorite book by Penny, so far! It is sweet, incredibly steamy, a bit over-the-top, and worthy of a repeat read. Ms. Unshakeable has met her match and he wants to shake her all night long! First, they have to get passed his ego and her skittishness. It's a mostly fun story with a juicy ending. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Literally my dream. Sleep with an extremely rich bourgeois tyrant, give him the silent treatment, shove his politics to the left, marry him, and take over the world. I am shook an author put that all of my dreams in one novella.
Justine and Keenan were instantly attracted when she delivered flowers to his office. She works for a non-profit helping elderly people and fighting against big corporations.
He is the CEO of the type of corporations she fights. She has no regard for him and lets him know. He is beyond attracted to her and he loved that she kind of told him off.
He orders a cactus for deliverybthe next day ( at her suggestion) and requests that she deliver it. Pissed beyond belief she takes the cactus from her BFF and delivers it.
The heat level on this one was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Combustible is a good description. Definitely recommended this quick read. Love this author by the way, she rarely fails to deliver!!!!
Another home run by Penny. The chemistry between Justine and Keenan are amazing. It was hot from the first page . Great story . Two different worlds coming together sometimes your stories make me wish it would happen to me in real life . Great Job Penny
The Big Boss by Penny Wylder is a quick and sexy enemies-to-lovers read that brings drama, passion, angst, heat, feels, romance and love. Keenan and Justine bring the sparks and the chemistry. This story will keep you hooked from start to finish. Good plot, sizzling connection and great ending.
#No Virgins #Alpha Billionaire #Streamy Sex #Love #No Epilogue #Sex with Condom
Hero (Keenan):Ultra Billionaire who is kinda workoholic and I found this character kind of sweet. not a Womaniser and definately not a Virgin.
Heroine (Justin): She works for non profit firm helping old people. I found her kind of annoying because she always make her own dumb conclusions and create misunderstanding. Not a Virigin and even bold towards sex which is very rare in romantic novels.
Justin hates rich guys, she love hardworking normal people according to her billionaire's are selfish and bastards. While Keenan is rich, prestigious but very much down to earth which he usually doesn't show
➡️Justin friend is sick so she goes for flower delivery at Keenan's office (Imp client). ➡️Both are attracted to each other but Justin shows her fowl temper and tells him to go with cactus instead of daisy flowers ➡️Kennan orders 🌵 next time and ask specially for Justin to deliver it to him and they end up having sex in office mind it in soundproof office. ➡️2 Dates one Justin style simple date and one Keenan style date after both dates they end up having sex. ➡️Justin finds out that Keenan company is going to demolish old people apartments. She doesn't even ask Keenan and start ignoring his messages that was kinda naive. Every time she ends up with conclusion thinking him as Asshole billionaire. Like seriously!? ➡️Keenan cancels the contract because he was not aware of anything, he simply gave orders didn't check the land or people living on it making his business partner angry ➡️Keenan confesses his love for her she does not reply him though and Keenan did had a rough past drug addict parents, building his own empire from scratch living with good aunt he tells Justin all his secrets. ➡️ Business partners orders to demolish old people community which Kennan is not aware of anything still this stupid girls doubts him. I don't know why the heroine character is very annoying. ➡️Men - Men fights finally Justin confesses her love and they say their I love you's. Kennan fire his business partner. ➡️ 6 months later they visit old lady who is Justin's client name Rosa( I loved her character very vibrant in this whole story 1 🌟 out of 3 🌟 specially for her) Kennan proposes Justin she says yes they end up having sex kind of semi public first time without condom. ➡️No Epilogue this is minus point.
I personally love independent heroine and loves to read billionaire story even if I don't like billionaire's in real life. That's why I started reading but heroine character was very unsure she always used to conclude worst and ends up creating misunderstanding. I love hero's hidden caring and soft personality he used to always clean's mess created by heroine. Streamy sex scenes but sex was always using condom only at end they end up having sex without condom maybe because they were engaged 😅Overall 3 🌟 story was not that interesting but some characters were amazing like old Lady Rosa. Man if she was young she would end up having sex with hero. I would say sexy old lady specially when she tells heroine "Go and fuck him!" I literally end up laughing.
Good for one time read 👍

Keenan and Justine’s story is witty, sexy and beautiful. It’s a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of story. Keenan and Justine’s chemistry is riveting ! A wonderful short story with loads of sexy. Remarkably written by the gifted Penny Wylder. An enjoyable read.
cute and short read! I am not usually a fan of insta love/lust, but this was good. The humor is awesome and the granny is the best. Read it just for her haha.
The Big Boss, by Penny Wylder is a 93-page contemporary romance novel. It is written from a first-person POV, two-sided.
Here's the thing about Penny Wylder, her books are dirty and fun. Don't expect some great character arc for both protagonists. Heat level is a definite five.
Spoilers Ahead ***
First let's be real about what this story is really about, I'd put this in the section of, almost coming of age. Where a woman who is not into the scene, but learns that she has a strong lean towards being submissive. The story follows her through this transition to acceptance of what she likes. I mean, it isn't a handbook, but there's lots of great sex scenes, if that helps.
Justine is not a lover of wealthy men, in fact she pretty much stays away from them, but "fate" isn't going to allow that. The meetcute was actually funny, she's helping out a friend by delivering flowers to CEO, Keenan Silverman. She delivers scathing dialogue to him, informing him that cactus's live longer. Why? Because she's confrontational, but, opposites do attract. This is definitely a case of instalust.
Keenan, I mean, he's a billionaire, no one talks back to him, but having Justine barge into his office and telling him off, apparently gets him going (masochistic, much? :-D). He needs to see her again, so he puts in a request that she comes to deliver his flowers always. This angers Justine, because she did it as a favor to her friend, she does not work for her friend's florist shop.
Where's the conflict, you ask? Well, Keenan is a building developer, finds lands and gentrifies it and Justine is a bleeding heart, hippy (her words, not mine). Justine's actual day job is taking care of the elderly, delivering food, keeping them company, things like that. When she finds out that Keenan's company is looking to destroy one of her client's home, she's devastated, I'm sure you can follow where this goes.
In summary, I give this a 4 out of 5. I know what to expect out of Penny, so if you're looking for heartwarming, this is not the book for you...but if you're looking for some hot sex scenes this is a good, quick read. The reason I score this higher than the last Penny Wylder book I reviewed is because this had a bit more solid substance than the last one.

I’ve read a couple of books from the author by now and The Big Boss is another good one. It was everything I needed at that moment, a short read, with a lot of steamy, fun and packing some good romance.
Justine is a hard work woman and earns her living by helping elderly people with a non-profit organization. When her best friend Lila gets sick, she volunteers to help with the flower shop. Her first mission is to delivery the daily flowers to this big CEO. What she couldn’t imagine that this way to good looking suit wearing business man would change her world.
Keenan is a billionaire and has his own real state development company. He is used to get what he wants and no one ever cross his path or defy him. Until his daily flowers are delivered by someone different, Justine.
She tries to deny her instantly attraction to him and she is jaded by high powerful people. I loved her conversation with her 80 years old friend Rose, this lady likes a steamy story and gives the best advices! Keenan knew that she was special from the get go. And he is not backing down until she is his.
I loved that although they have very different lives, together they save each other in more ways then one. She grounds him and makes him see more than money. And he saves her actual life more than once.
You need to read this book if you’re into insta-love, steamy, love story, with a sexy as sin guy and a ending sweeter than candy.
Justine helps her friend in her flower shop when she isn't working with her clients for the nonprofits. When she goes to make a delivery for a CEO one day she gets drenched in the rain and ends up in transparent clothes. They banter back and forth and she ends up telling him that he needs to get a cactus to help him deal will his over inflated ego. Keenan is drawn to the spitfire that came into his office to delivery his flowers. When Justine's friend tells her that he requested that she bring his deliveries she agrees to do it but she ends up giving him a lecture because she has her own job. Its not long before Keenan convinces her to go out with him. Things progress pretty quick between them and everything is going well until she shows up for one of her activist events. She learns Keenan is the CEO of the company tearing down the building forcing the people to relocate quickly. Will this cause her to rethink having anything to do with him? Can Keenan show her that he is different than other companies that build all over?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. The chemistry between them is is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Justine and Keenan are very much opposites in personality, yet each is passionate about what they do and put all they have into their work. Justine is a straight-shooter who won’t leave any doubt as to how she feels about something. She believes strongly in giving her time and attention to those who need help. And she sees Keenan as everything she hates and finds lacking in her world view, wealth and being a snob at the forefront.
Keenan is a CEO who is so focused on the bottom line that his humanity can get buried in the process. But making a snap judgment about someone is not the right way to find out about them, and there is more to Keenan than what Justine sees in front of her when she makes a floral delivery to Keenan for her BFF who is sick and can’t do the delivery herself. Keenan is immediately caught up in her personality, and his own personality won’t let him give up once he latches on to an idea. Let the war games begin as the sparks fly between these two who can’t seem to resist each other! Each of them will be a surprise!
This is a cute story that will grab the reader’s attention as these two clash while fighting their own feelings. Grab your copy and see how it all works out for them.

Keenan is a billionaire who is a perfectionist in everyway. He is also ruthless. He has flowers delivered to his office everyday. Justine is a sweet young woman who works for a non-profit business delivering groceries to seniors. When Justine is asked by her friend to make her flower deliveries she meets Keenan. When she meets him she is not that impressed and leaves a snarky comment. This only intrigues Keenan, so he ask her to deliver the flowers the next day. These two end up having amazing chemistry where they have sex in his office only for Justine to run away. These two are so unlike one another. They both come from different worlds can they make it work? I loved the fact that they are so very different yet their passion hold everything together for them. These two also had amazing banter throughout the story. Can't wait for more from the author!
This story demonstrates how opposites attract and how easy it is to make assumptions of others based on our own personal experience. Justine helps the elderly remain independent and make sure their needs are nmet. Keenan is a wealthy entrepreneur who does renovations on old buildings or demolishes buildings and rebuilds new ones. The chemistry is off the charts at their first encounter. Justine despite her attraction is filled with contempt for his kind. The wealthy, entitled and self absorbed entrepreneur. He works hard at changing her opinion. The senior citizens in this story are heartwarming and hilarious. The characters are strong, sensual and open to new ideas. Their journey to their HEA makes this book thought provoking, sensual and creative.
I love Ms. Wylder's writing. This book is no exception. We meet Justine, a woman who works at a non-profit, along with helping her friend at her flower shop. She is helping out when her friend asks her to deliver flowers to Keenan Silverman, a wealthy, CEO businessman. Justine thinks that Keenan is arrogant, but Keenan is bound and determine to win her over. He keeps ordering flowers. Eventually, they give in to their chemistry at his office. This is a short story, but short doesn't mean not good, and the epilogue is excellent. I highly recommend this book. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
This was a sweet story with a stark reminder about not playing judge, jury and executioner without knowing all the facts before passing judgement. I believe most people need this reminder every so often. We all probably miss out on some great opportunities and special people by judging unfairly under the guise of self protection. In any case, my thanks to Ms. Wylder for that messege.
I enjoyed the main characters but Rose as a supporting character was just the best. She was funny and just let her freak flag fly. She reminded me of my mom and that's a wonderful thing.
A friend is helping a friend who is sick with a delivery for an important client and not realizing he is drop dead gorgeous with an absolutely perfect body. Upon arrival she finds he comes across as rather rude and finds it difficult to bite her tongue and lets loose what you thinks but this only encourages his interest in her and he contacts the company explaining that the replacement must provide these services (high fee payer) so is not a question. On day 2 is where it really starts and ends up liking him more than she thought possible - get ready for the ride.
Making assumptions This book is about Justine and Keenan. Their first interaction was funny and the note he gave her as she left made me excited to see what was going to happen! She delivers some flowers to his office, for her friend Lila, who is home sick. He now wants her to make all of his deliveries. She chastises her friend for not pre-warning her about how hot he was – ‘GQ model, please strip down for me now so I can worship your body’ hot. Nothing usually really rattles Justine and Lila calls her Ms. Unshakeable, but Keenan has already gotten under her skin a little. And she’s perplexed by it, and not feeling entirely comfortable about it. Keenan also hasn’t stopped thinking about her. He found her openness and defiance enticing. It isn’t something he comes across often, as people generally don’t show their authentic feelings to him. He also doesn’t find her obvious disdain for him and his extreme wealth offensive, but more refreshing. There may be clashes, but they’re both very passionate people. Justine’s regular job is working with the elderly and vulnerable. She has a good bond with her clients, and strongly believes in advocating for their rights. Keenan and his business partner have plans for a new development, and are expecting some community pushback. Little does he know the interest and involvement from Justine and her workplace. This understandably causes some issues and drama. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride! Whilst they seem total opposites at first, they’re together because of their amazing chemistry. They are sweet but very steamy together. The advice from Rose, aged in her 80’s, is an absolute hoot… but oh so very accurate too! However, I found their story ended a bit abruptly, and I certainly was not ready to say goodbye to these very likeable characters yet. This was my first time reading this author’s work, and I’ll definitely go back for more. I give this book four and a half stars. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Almost 4 stars. I liked Keenan and Justine. The whole rich guy and poor woman, but loads of chemistry? I’m into it. Penny Wylder writes these stories that just get to it and I love that, but it took me a while to get into this.
What I loved, their first date. Rose. The childhood home of Keenan.
What I didn’t like, the instalove was too instant. The bad guy partner. The dressing up. Is everything soundproof?
Don't judge a book by it's cover....an old adage to live by is what she discovers
The Big Boss is the third book in the Big Men series and is the story of Justine and Keenan. They are opposites who definitely attract with a lot of sparking chemistry that is ready to get lit on fire. This book is well written with a fun story-line, nicely developed characters and a little moral of don't judge people before you know them all wrapped up into a quick novella.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This was a great opposite sides of the tracks type story. What made it even better was that Justine was not at all interested in Keenan's money and he wasn't at all what a typical billionaire is often portrayed as.
My absolute favorite thing about this book was actually a side character, Rose. She's in her 80s and talks plainly and says things that would make a sailor blush. She was a total riot.
I really liked that even though this was a billionaire romance it managed to be different from the rest with very unique characters and story-line twists.
The Big Boss was another fantastic read by Penny Wylder! Keenan and Justine had chemistry that was off the charts hot. What began as a favor by Justine for her sick best friend turned into so much more. After Justine agrees to deliver flowers for her friend to Keenan, a powerful and sexy CEO, he knows he has to get to know her better. He is determined to prove despite their differences that they belong together.
Justine and Keenan are opposites who have a sweet meet cute when she is playing delivery girl. Their chemistry is strong and extremely immediate and totally unexpected. Theirs is a journey of growth and change. Each of the characters pulls at my heart strings. The story line is very good. The characters are very likeable. This is an enjoyable read. 4.5 stars

Justine is really judgmental for no good reason. She’s really annoying through a good chunk of the story and I almost stopped reading the book several times because of her bias and assumptions. I’m really disgusted by her disrespectful behavior towards him because he’s rich. Like, that’s the only reason you hate someone because of their success? Talk about reverse classism and stereotyping someone. If he did it to her people would be mad but it’s apparently okay because she is a girl. 🙄
A feel good romance read that didn’t disappoint. Justine and Keenan’s character have great chemistry and although opposite attracts they fit together but getting there makes for an entertaining story that will have you cheering for their HEA. A fun, cute read that you need to read today.
I love Penny Wylder . I read a lot of her books and this story didn't disappoint. Great cute story with hot chemistry. Love the characters. Justine and Keenan are from different world's and are trying to navigate there differences while not ignoring the connection they have between each other. Fabulously well done novella!!!
Keenan is a great misunderstood man who meets Justine by accident and instantly falls for her and her unimpressed attitude. She fights the attraction, while he charges towards it and though it's a shorter story you don't feel like you're missing out or skipping the good stuff 😉 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
