I am going to give this book three stars and I am happy with this. The stories all received mainly two stars and some received four stars. Some received three stars, too.
I’m not sure about the title, but I remember the details of the story. This is one of my four stars stories from the book. I believe it is called The Three Brothers. Three friends are stumbling around on the mountains when they encounter something unexpected.
Another four stars story is, Surrogate. Two friends who are roommates go for a walk on a trail. One of the friends gets stung and begins to have strange behavior. What is happening to him?
My favorite sub category of horror is the creature feature...and this book enforces why that is.
Very different stories, each with their own hideous monstrosity tormenting it's victims. I couldn't pick a favorite out of these, nor would i wish to. There was one story that i couldn't get behind at all, but the rest were 5 star quality tales.
Excellently written, as well as tense and creepy - i really enjoyed this collection.
