Ever since finding a copy of The Hero and the Crown in her elementary school library, Bethany has loved fantasy. After subjecting her friends to stories scrawled in notebooks during study breaks all through high school, she decided to pursue an English degree at Middle Tennessee State University. What can I say

I’ve enjoyed the plots and characters the sensuality expressed borders on gentle erotica. I love elves and dragons simple as that.

A fun read

Now that I've spent enough time in this fictional universe, I'm starting to enjoy it more. But mostly for the characters rather than the culture they live in. I'm very fond of Vek in this volume--perhaps my favorite character in the series yet. And if you're looking for bisexual polyamory, that's here too.

I'm looking forward to seeing how things turn out with the return of magic to the Earth. But I'll probably be waiting until the next collection comes out.
