It's always interesting to see where an author will take a new series when it comes to releasing book 2. I thoroughly enjoyed, Apex, the first book in this series and couldn't wait to see what JD Oliva had to offer. As with book 1 there are several perspectives set in different eras from the forties to the modern day etc. I personally like this and it adds to the fun when you can have a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of a chapter. Each different arc tells us more about the world the author has created. and furthers the overall story. The story, and writing, is top quality and had me hooked once more from the first page. I don't want to give away any spoilers but there's a lot that happens by the final page and it's all thrilling. I really enjoyed this book and it has firmly cemented The VisionQuest series as a personal favourite. I'd recommend this to all fantasy/superhero fans but also those who may have shied away from those type of genres in the past. It's very written, addictive story telling that offers something a bit different and totally engrossing.

This second book in the series follows Jennifer and Bryan as well as giving us more history of the pink stone and Apex. There is lots of action and excitement. Jennifer finds that evil is hard to put down.
The book flips back and forth between stories and is sometimes irritating in that way. Some of the story is resolved, but not all and you will need the next book.

I received this book as an ARC and wished to leave a review.

I enjoyed the premise of this Urban Fantasy, which is a genre that I don't usually read, but I found it difficult to enjoy because of the constant changes in tenses. I liked the way Olivia explained the history of the Golem in 1939 while helping Jennifer in the present century. If you enjoy urban fantasy, you will love Golem. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

Fantastic adventure into a realm where a golem is not only possible but downright necessary. An excellent addition to anyone's library.

Wow. If possible even better than the first book. This story gives us more insight from the first and get to know more about the characters. Loved the history and background. Ready for more.

I enjoyed reading this book. In Golem, Book 2 in the VisionQuest Series, Apex is shot and Jennifer hopes her heirloom can bring him back. At the same time she tries to figure out who shot him and finds out more than expected. I received this book from bookfunnel and volunteered to review. This book is available on Amazon.
