Whether working through the daily disorders of home, school, or office, the Fox family manages to put its special spin on the rigors of the world. Setting the comic tone are mom Andy, whose heroic efforts to make tofu into the fifth food group are legend, and dad Roger, who is a human hazard on the golf course and a threat to the workings of all technologically driven devices. Filling out the cast are the younger the eldest and football star wanna-be Peter, shopping guru Paige, and last-but never least-Jason, the family brain trust and his trusty iguana friend, Quincy. Each sports his or her own eccentricities, from Jason's Internet stock, Jasonzonbayhoo dot com, to Peter's teeth-chattering coffee addiction to Paige's harrowing adventures in baby-sitting.

I've been re-reading my collection of Foxtrot books from around 2000 and very glad I have! While a few strips here and there are now dated, for the most part all of these strips will still bring smiles and laughs! This volume focuses on the parody of an apple computer but today it could just as well be an iphone! Meanwhile as I get older I identify more and more with Roger who struggles to keep up with the technology. A great Foxtrot collection any fan of the series will love!
A fun collection of comics; my only complaint is that there wasn't enough about the iFruit. As a longtime Apple fan and a previous owner of a Grape iMac, I had hoped there would be more about the brightly colored computer.
FoxTrot dailies black and white collection from 1999. Includes Jason geeking out about Star Wars Episode I's release, Dad quits his job, and as the cover hints at, the family getting a new Mac.
Funny but not quite as funny as some of the later years.
This was quite a fun read as, despite being a fan and having read many of the strips, I had never seen these before so the book's collection was all new to me. Delightful and funny. The characters are their usual selves which makes for a reliable fun read.
The Fox family featuring Roger, Andrea(Andy), Peter, Paige, and Jason and their madcap and humorous adventures of family life, and a look at lifestyles and contemporary issues of the 1990's
Foxtrot is a great Sunday comic series, and I enjoy picking these up when I need a little pick me up. Sometimes though the selfishness of the characters really gets to me. It's a silly thing, like Peter eating all the food, or Paige using one of her mother's favorite books to squash a bug because she didn't want to ruin her latest cosmo. At first these things didn't bother me but since I read these all the time over and over it makes me upset. Totally silly but that's the only reason this doesn't get higher stars on my list. Otherwise the artwork and stories are great, lots of fun.
One of Amend's strongest comic strip collections, this gem includes Roger deciding to quit his job to stay home with his (rightly horrified) family, and make money day-trading. Andy falls in love with colorful little computers, much to geek Jason's disgust. And Jason dreams that he's Scrooge in an update of A Christmas Carol.
