"Phantoms" by Anthony Martinez is a collection of poems that touch on a variety of emotions and themes. "Forgive Me" explores the guilt and regret of past mistakes, while "Ocean" and "Dive" delve into the depth and mystery of the sea. "Mermaid" paints a vivid picture of the mythical creature, while "Aphotic Zone" explores the darkness of the ocean's depths.

On a lighter note, "Sunny Day" brings to life the joy and beauty of a bright day, while "Wish Upon a Star" speaks of hope and possibility. "Philophobia" delves into the fear of love and vulnerability, while "Addict" portrays the struggles of addiction.

"Surrender" speaks to the importance of letting go, while "Realm" takes the reader on a journey through different worlds and realities. "Broken Dreams" explores the pain of shattered aspirations, while "Drained" delves into exhaustion and weariness.

Inward looking on fears of inadequacy

I'm not a fan
Of two-word lines
As if I ran
A two-yard dash
Fell on my ass
Commenced to whine
Expecting all
To love my line
Of self-pity
Attention craving
And other types
Of pointless raving
Life is too
Complex a thing
To me-and-you
In front of all
Career peak
With a prat's fall
Please!
Just!
Stop!
Grinding my ears
With childish fears
Want a woman's love
Try being a man
