Her Soulkeepers #1-3

Her Soulkeepers

Rate this book
My people are dying.

Our god has abandoned us, leaving us starving and weak. In a desperate attempt to save those I love, I offer up the ultimate sacrifice to our neglectful god.

Myself.

He accepts my offering, and I forfeit my life. But when I arrive in the afterworld, a rival god who despises mine binds my soul to three beautiful, terrifying men--powerful beings he calls his messengers.

Callum, Echo, and Paris.

I'm little more than an annoyance to them, a lost soul their master has foisted upon them.

Still, the bond between us draws me toward them constantly, like a lodestone finding true north, and the more time I spend with these enigmatic men, the more confused my feelings become.

I hate them. I want them. I fear them. I need them.

But no matter what happens, I won't let myself love them.

This boxed set contains the COMPLETE Her Soulkeepers series, a reverse harem fantasy romance.

All three books are included in one low-priced volume!

Magic and mayhem in the afterworld!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🖤💜❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌎
Character development: 🤨😟😳😍

The heroine: Sage - she lives in a small village with her mother and younger brother Nolan. Though the villagers have all been faithful, prayed diligently and given sacrifices to their god Zelus, he has forsaken them. The crops have mostly all failed and they go out in hunting parties but there is less game to be found and even when they do, the animals are also starving.

The Heroes: Paris - he a tall, languid man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He loves to cook.
Callum - He is big, muscular, has long dark brown hair and green eyes and looks like a warrior. He is in charge and somewhat grumpy.
Echo - He has black hair and brown eyes, he is a bit shorter than the other two, but still tall, he has a sparkle in his eye and is easy going and jovial.

“We’re messengers for Kaius.” Echo grabs the bottle and refills my wine glass as he speaks. “We exist to serve him, and we do whatever he asks of us. We are warriors and emissaries, guards and attendants. We aren’t human, nor were we ever human. Somewhere in between, really.”

The Story: When Sage’s brother is hurt during a hunt for a bear, Sage goes out to look for some herbs to stop infection and she sees some magical creatures who tell her that her god Zelus won’t help the village without a bigger sacrifice. So, Sage decides to Sacrifice herself to Zelus in exchange for helping her family and her village. She ends up as a lost soul and is found by Paris, Callum and Echo who are messengers for the god Kaius, who is brother to Zelus. They take her to Kaius who takes pity on her and gives each of the guy's part of her soul to keep. Now they have to look after her in Kaius’ realm of the afterworld.

The story is interesting, though there were certain things that bothered me. Mostly having to do with the fact that Sage never questioned things enough. I wanted her to immediately find out more about how the afterlife works, more about her guys, and the magic they had access to, but she just seemed to think that the guy’s wouldn’t welcome her questions, so she didn’t bother asking. Also, it seems she can get hurt and even die in the afterlife, so I wanted her to ask more questions about that.

I also loved the description of the ‘weave’, where the magic comes from and of the magic itself that is performed by Sage and her Heroes. They do some pretty cool stuff with the magic by seeing the strings in the weave and pulling on them. They can travel really fast, they can strengthen their weapons, they can heal, make things move and much more. The world building was fantastic. Plus in the first two of the the three books, there was a nice blend of steaminess and action for a reverse harem which sometimes end up on the smuttier side. The third book had more steamy scenes than I liked, but overall it was a good mix.

Her Soulkeepers is another amazing series by Sadie Moss. She keeps creating these amazing and interesting worlds and I cannot get enough of her story building. All her books are so well written with amazing characters. The Her Soulkeepers series is such a good and original series and if you love a strong female character and RH, then I highly recommend this series!

A trio of books where one persons (Sage FMC) sacrifice for her family and her village starts off a chain of events. Ones that not only bring her on a collision course with 3 messengers - Callum, Echo and Paris but on a journey of discovery for herself. Action-packed, fast-paced with plenty of plot twists that keep you on your toes. With one knockout ending the whole series was one great read which i enjoyed reading

Not just smut. An amazing fantasy story.

This book was not just some reverse harem smut. It was a fantastical and beautiful story. The world building and the magic of the weave was stunning and brilliant. The characters were likeable and loveable. I related to Sage's absolute love and willingness to do anything for her family. She was a fierce and lovely character. The romance and love between Sage and the men felt believable and very very even. The progression of the romance was perfect. And once it began.... Boy was it so so HAWT!
Stunning story. Great read.

A Series of Hope, Determination, and Love

This series started off slow for me. I love the entire premise of the series, but the connection between Sage and the three messengers was a bit confusing to me - for example, Callum’s strong anger towards Sage. Thankfully, I continued on and it all made sense to me. In truth, the third book of the series is my favorite. So, if you (like me) get a little confused or feel a part is slow, keep reading because it all makes sense and the impact of the message and characters truths are truly beautiful.

Sage and her men are able to make things happen because they are determined and have a faith in what they are fighting for, what they believe in. They can not only make magick happen, but they are also able to make a huge difference in their own lives and the lives of others.

Sage and this entire series is based on love, true unconditional love. Sage also proves to all (including us the readers) that even the smallest and at times weakest person is capable of accomplishing anything and making a difference for many. She has a purpose and this makes her stronger and more complete than any other character in this book. Her selflessness is awe inspiring.

The characters have a lot of depth and the world(s) Sadie has created is awesome. The connection of the different realms and lands are smooth and connect well, and Sadie’s view and grasp of these lands she works with for her characters is flawless. Some of these connections may even make you think about our own world and how much of the energy in the book is the same for us in our own human world. I think that is what I truly enjoyed most about this series.

I do recommend this series to others. The heat is a bit tamer than most of the books I read, but the character interaction and growth of these characters make that a non-issue.

So if you love a book that has a taste of it all, this is a series for you.

Thanks Sadie for another wonderful story.

This series was a first for me by Sadie Moss and it was incredible! These books have action, world building and love with plenty of steam for you. Sage is a strong female lead that proves it by her actions again and again throughout the books. She sacrifices herself to her god to save her mom, brother and her village. The sacrifice doesn’t turn out the way she hoped and ends up bound to three strong, beautiful, captivating messengers. Sadie Moss did a wonderful job writing each male character so they instantly felt real to me. I feel like I’ve met each type of man at some point in my life and it made me smile. We have Echo, the sweet and considerate one. Paris, the flirty and cocky one. And Callum, oh Callum, the stubborn strong leader that lets his past hold him back out of fear and guilt. Callum has to be my favorite type of male character because when they fall, they fall hard. And I absolutely loved watching him fall. Echo, Paris and Callum compliment each other and work well as a unit, so when you add Sage it’s like putting the last piece of the puzzle together. They fit perfectly.
Loved this series. 5 stars because I’ll read again.

wow! what a good story!

This has some dark themes of suicide/human sacrifice but the story is SOO GOOD! I love these characters and I couldn’t put this book down! I ended up reading through the night for two days absolutely inhaling this book. I loved each of the MMCs, each one was so lovable and so unique. Usually in RH books the guys are carbon copies or there’s only one or two that are fully formed, thought out characters, but Echo, Callum & Paris are each so different and lifelike I could fully see them in my mind’s eye. I really hope we get more books based in this world even if unrelated. I loved the magic and the gods/afterworld aspect of this story. I almost wanted to visit this world it was so well thought out! But then I’d have to be dead so… maybe not. I can’t wait to read more books by this author!

I loved this series and really enjoyed the world we were introduced to. I actually was very surprised that right in the beginning we get a sacrifice to the gods and thats where the journey begins. Paris was my favorite character, so relaxed and definitely lightened the mood. All three guys had such unique personalities that went well with the MC. I loved seeing the guys sacrifice everything they know just to save the MC. It was such a wonderful, and sometimes heartbreaking journey for these 4 throughout the books but totally worth it in the end!! I definitely recommend this boxset to others, especially if you enjoy reading about gods and other worlds.

I’ve stopped at chapter one of the second book, but because KU only offers the whole 3 books in one, I have no idea what percentage I’m at.

First book
Kind of a slow burn with some spice which is only in her dream, so there is no fallout from it. Each men’s personality does compliment her own and despite some d*ckish behaviour I do like them all.

I’m maybe going to go back to this book, but I’m currently struggling with the lack of romance in it. I feel like his more fantasy plot based then it is actual romance. There is a lot of like ‘longing stares’ and ‘quick kisses’ but that’s where is stops.

Again I may go back to it, but I’m feeling more of a mafia romance today.

Love these books! Fabulously well written series that takes you on a ride from Earth to the afterlife and back again. Sage begins her journey as a human who thinks she has to worship and sacrifice to her god in order to help her town. She tries to be selfless to save her town and ends up on a journey with Callum, Echo and Paris. I love that this is a complete set and you can just read straight through to the end! Beware, you may lose some sleep over this series but it is totally worth it!! Definitely recommended!! 💜🖤

Sage is a truly awesome character. She will do anything to save her village and family. She has come into this new life learning of so many awful things but just keeps on fighting. I love how the relationship grows between her and the messengers. She is learning how much they really care for. They have a big fight ahead of themselves. The ending is perfect. Sage's character has so much growth. Her men back her no matter what. Even through the extreme steps which need to be taken. They don't give up on her This is a really great story. I adored the ending!

Fantastic and unique world 💖
This series is so unique and amazing, haven't read anything like this before and I totally loved it!!! 🤗💕
Sage and the messengers love story is out of this world, you can "watch" how much they all grow individually through the books, which allowed them to form such a beautiful and deep bond 😍
But this story is also full of action, magic, so many emotions, unexpected and shocking twists and turns, and an amazing world building and story line, that will keep you reading till the last page... 💯 recommended!!! ❤️

Enchanting, Captivating, Mesmerizing

I loved reading this series. Sage's journey is so inspiring. Doesn't matter where a person comes from... it's what they become that matters. And reading the length to which Sage went to protect and provide for her family, including sacrificing herself to a negligent God, was very captivating. This story talks about love ; love for one's family, love for one's country & love for one's soulmates. This story has it all- adventure, romance, heartbreak, hardships, sacrifice & a very happy ending. ❤️

I love this story!!! When I first started reading it I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because it was a little slow going. But when the story picked up a few chapters in, I was hooked. Sage and her Soulkeepers have an amazing adventure and do so many things that wouldn’t have seemed possible in the beginning. As the story progresses and their love deepens it’s hard to put down. If it wasn’t for the fact that I have to adult, I would have finished this in one sitting.

Another Amazing World.

Once again, the author has brought us another amazing world. With her unique perspectives and the spins she puts on myths and legends, she's penned a heart felt series about the lengths that one will go to for love. There's lots of emotion, discovery, action, surprises, steam and sacrifice, and it all flows so easily, you don't want to put it down. If you like stories that portray an original take on the afterlife, you don't wanna pass this one up.

Her Soulkeepers is a new spin in the paranormal fantasy genre

I admit, I had fun reading this one. The whole setup was an original inspiration in my opinion. The characters are terrific and emotions they evoke will have you funding the gamut from one end to the other. For a reverse harem I will say even when she lets the graphic description fly she does it tastefully. All in all, this was a very thought provoking read. Thank you Sadie Moss!

As far as RH’s go this one is pretty tame on the romance and sex scenes. I honestly don’t always feel that burning connections between her and her men. That being said the storyline compensated for it. It was an interesting plot that was well written. The ritual sacrifices were a little disturbing (especially the second one) but I knew it was going to be a little darker going into it. Overall I enjoyed this book.

So far there is nothing that Sadie Moss has wrote about that I haven’t loved. This series does not disappoint, completely different to her other books but just as fantastic. I’m not going to write a long review that dives into al characters, I think this is just a box set you should pick up and read for yourselves. Don’t think about it, just grab.

Great series

Just finished after being unable to put this one down for 2 days. I did predict the ultimate plot twist in Book 3, but getting to the climax of the story was complex and filled with a perfect level of tension. I couldn't figure out the resolution. Well done! Very minimal typos. Heat level 4/5 with at most 3 people together instead of 4. Relatively vanilla as RHs go.

Pretty Good Series some distractions

The storyline is solid, and I enjoyed the characters, but I didn't finish. The author uses made-up curse words, and it took me out of the moment. Stop trying to church up, my smut (please and thank you). Use real curse words, and I'll gladly finish the series
