Honestly, more than anything each book, like the series as a whole, reads like a love letter from the narrator to his husband. And this final installment is the hottest, tenderest, dirtiest of them all.
Travis Beaudoin = underappreciated treasure. (And if erotic romance isn't your thing, then check out his Too Like the Lightning, which is one of those books that we lucky few to have discovered it clutch to our hearts and then immediately shove at everyone we know.)

Mateo is home and Bryce's week of play has come to an end. This was such a perfect conclusion to this series. I couldn't wait to "officially" meet Mat. Throughout the entire series Bryce's love for him ran beneath the surface, even when his thoughts and body were consumed by other men. I loved how excited Bryce was to pick Mat up from the airport and how naturally they fell into their game the moment they got home. I also loved the brief glimpses of Mat during their scene when he feared "Sir" may be taking things too far. It may have been a game, but it was very real at the same time. The guilt was real. The shame was real. The need to be reclaimed, accepted and forgiven was real. And the love between these two men was real. This series was beautifully written, interesting, engaging and off the charts hot. I can't wait to read what this author writes next.

The perfect end to such a steamy and fun series!
Sometimes I just want to read some good ole well written naughty as hell sex. This series was so fun and so hot and still really well written. This final book was the reclaiming by Bryce’s husband after a week of sexy shenanigans (that he was given permission to have) and it was just… so hot and so so good. Please heed the disclaimer at the end where the author explains why he didn’t go in depth on explaining BDSM practices. This is series of erotic shorts and that would have been too cluttered and unnecessary.
I seriously cannot wait for more from Travis!

This covers the whole series which is basically a sex-fest series of well written explorations of kink and erotica.
I liked the idea behind the series, of Bryce being able to play while his husband's away, but knowing he'll have to 'pay' when Mateo gets home.
I liked some of the day's activities better than the others, but each covers a specific need which Bryce needs to meet.
This one, when Mat comes home and Bryce has to 'confess' is an excellent way to round off the narrative and shows exactly where the mutual love and respect truly lies.
An interesting series of short interludes which carries a bit more depth than its subject matter would initially suggest.

Mateo/Mat made it home to Bryce. After 12 encounters over 6 days, Bryce is ready to be reclaimed.
This was hot but I guess with the build up I was hoping for more. Mat and Bryce definitely have their kink down though and know what works for them. Short and sexy story.

Then come Sunday, and Mat is back in town. HOLYHELLLLLL. I could't wait! I was waiting for this day from the very start, and it was so, so HOT! All the reclaiming, all the emotions, with Bryce being a real submissive with safewords, Mat is the dom of all doms, but my favorites were when Mat got affectionate and stepped out a bit from his Sir persona to check on Bryce. It was everything. And when he got Bryce to repeat those names again and again, ah so hot. Loved the role play and loved the LOVE between these two.
This series was a really great journey, I loved reading it. It was a quick but hot as hell read. I love it when someone can tell this many things in this short amount of time. Quick and short reads with this many erotica and love - these are my favorites. This kind of thing tells the more about the author's writing style, and I'm here for MORE!!!

And I finally reach the end of Mateo and Bryce's story!.. This series was such a great little surprise, the build-up to the ending was greatly done and the ability of the author to turn individual stories of "hooking ups" into something still deep and soft was a thrill to read.
There was just something about little moments here and there between the characters that made the connexions palpable, and of course, our main characters in this last read didn't shy away from those, their love was real and strong, even after Bryce's adventures, and the way Mateo showed this during their last play was really sweet.. Great read!!

Mat is back, and it’s time for Bryce to pay!
In this final part of Bryce’s weeklong journey to make his husband proud, Bryce goes to meet Mat at the airport and bring him home.
Bryce has missed Mat hugely and can’t wait, not only to see him, but also looking forward to his punishment so that he can then be forgiven and reclaimed by Mat.
Once Mat is met and loaded into the car, their long established game with all its ground rules, begins. They speak in code: it’s knowing what the other wants once arrive home, without using the actual words.
Bryce yearns for Mat’s dominance; he needs to be punished but cherished at the same time. On his part, Mat makes sure that Bryce is still feeling loved while paying the price for his transgressions.
Their game is like the confessional box: the sinner confesses every sin and is given absolution, the release from guilt, in the form of different punishments. These punishments involve various forms of BDSM practices: there is an author’s disclaimer for the reader at the end, urging safe, informed and consensual practice for anyone who has interest in the BDSM scene.
Bryce needs these punishments in order to banish all traces of guilt, and Mat needs Bryce to know that no matter what, Bryce belongs to him. The important thing here is that both Mat and Bryce love one another, and respect each other’s boundaries, whilst satisfying their own particular needs.
Punishment over, sins forgiven, and Bryce reclaimed, Mat says:

In all the time spent reviewing the Bryce Can Play series, this is the one I was the most looking forward to. Mat's return has been built up and I was happy to see it finally come to fruition.
This is definitely the kinkiest of all the stories (I appreciated the disclaimer about practicing safe BDSM at the end) and probably wont be to everyone's tastes. I also wondered about other psychological factors, as there are times in the story that Bryce seems to feel true guilt about everything.
The sweetest moments were between the two of them when outside the game. Mat is just as sweet and caring as other stories hinted at. And the relationship between the two of them is so loving it's like 10 Valentines Days stacked on top of each other... even though we're back to a lot of emphasis on fluids in this one.
The series as a whole still leaves me with a couple questions about Bryce, as there are several times in which sexual desires seem to spill over into normal life feelings and worries. I can't tell if the series was trying to say anything, or it was just a subtheme. But it is surprising to find such deep themes from short story erotica.

That... was... hot. Take it from me, as someone who likes the "freakier stuff", like aliens and teratophilia... this was hot. If I liked it when aliens or monsters aren't involved... it's gotta be hot af.
A perfect ending to the BCP series. God, Bryce worked so hard for this!
My only complaint is that this is the end of Bryce's story. This is it. The culmination that's gradually built, and I guarantee it'll leave you jonesing for more. But guess what... there's no more! At least... not until our wonderful and amazing author Travis decides to give us more!

I'm not really into BDSM or breath play, so this was never gonna be my jam but all the same, I did like the moments of connection and checking in that showed the trust these two have built up over their relationship.
