This was my first time reading a book in this genre and from this author. I’m usually set in my ways when it comes to reading and don’t really like reading different genres. Once I pushed pass my comfort zone and actually focused on the book to read it, it was good. Definitely was shocked to find out who the stalker was at the end. If you want to do like me and step outside your comfort zone definitely check this book out!

This was a good read a psychological thriller. Eleanor (Elle) was the typical house wife did everything for her husband and loved her family. I wished she could have figured who was stalking and tormenting her before things got as far as they did. Her stalker played a lot of games almost driving her over the edge especially threatening her family. Jack her husband was the soul provider and he was a piece of work. I enjoyed this book!

Wow! I finished this book last night and I have thought about it all day long. What a Wild Ride. This story grabbed my attention and refused to let go. I really love the way this book is written. The author takes risks with storyline whis results in delightful/devastating twists. This is the best book that I have read all year.

Still guessing who the real stalker was!!!

This book was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t put it down. Not only could I feel every emotion written, I was so enthralled in trying to figure out who the stalker is that my own paranoia set in just a bit. Definitely going to recommend this to everyone I know.

Had me on the edge of my seat, hooked to the screen as I tried to piece together just who was behind the messages. The characters are so well written and the tale is brilliantly written.
I felt I was there with Elle as she experienced everything. Fantastic job, highly recommend.

Wow...

This was a long book but I guess it was needed for all the things that were going on in this story. The author has a very vivid imagination because I definitely didnt see that outcome. It may have been good to get a look into Jacks childhood more to get a better understanding of him and his ways. I felt bad for Elle and the children because it seemed as if they really tried to deal with him for a while. This is definitely a book that will have you looking at situations from all possible angles and keep you thinking/wondering.

Amazing thriller!!

This book is an amazing read! Captured me right from the start. This is a story about a woman who has a stalker, that she has a clue who it could be, until some evidence comes up that it isn't. She starts suspecting everyone around her. An amazing bone-chilling read!

Book is very good! You think you know who the culprit is and then you question yourself. It keeps you reading long past bedtime and when you should be doing chores. Even the end makes you wonder and I had to start Strangers Still. I gave it a 4 ⭐️ for a couple of reasons, 1 because it really bothers me to see a woman being verbally & emotionally degraded this way and 2 because I swear even though this isn’t an arc, it appears this become was not even proofread. I have never read a book with so many errors throughout the entire thing. I love arcs and can easily adapt through errors but this was ridiculous. Luckily the book was so good, I was able to get through it. Impressive author.

This story is magnificent. It is dark and gritty. But, this story is emotional roller coaster. Elle is this sweet and caring mother and wife. She is going through so much with her stalker. She feels so alone and in this you can feel her pain and sorrow. She loves her family and that is also felt throughout the story. Her husband Jack really had me tossed between likening his loving, caring ways to really wanting to hit him when he say horrible things to people. The children Allura and Greyson are great support characters that I throughly enjoyed reading about. As I am reading this story that has so many twists and turns throughout it I am piecing the clues together. Who doesn’t love a good mystery, anyway when the ending of the story comes you have gone through all the pain, shock, and craziness right along side these amazing characters. It is a stunning story that is absolutely a must read. It has you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

Strangers is interesting. I was expecting a happy, ideal marriage disrupted by a message from Eleanor's past, and a mysterious stalker. Instead, we got an abusive marriage which honestly I'm not sure which is more distressing - the emotional abuse Eleanor's controlling husband dishes out or Eleanor's creepy stalker. It's decently written but I feel misled by the synopsis as there really is no happy marriage to disrupt. I think I would've enjoyed it more if the psychological aspect was focused more on the stalker and I wasn't also waiting for Eleanor's husband to finally snap and kill her. Three out of five because it's well written, even if the plot didn't sit well with me.

For readers of suspense

A suspenseful mystery of who is stalking Eleanor. Now this isn't my usual genre, so im going to try to give the best review i can. I did enjoy some of the book because I do like some suspense. Jake isn't particularly my favorite character... actually I almost couldn't deal with him. Now maybe after 24 years of marriage you let things go to keep the peace. So taking away the few things I didn't like about this story I can say it was a good book that kept me stressing of when they where going to catch this guy. The ending... let's just say you'll be left with your mouth open staring dumbfounded.

This book was WOW. Once I started reading this there was no putting it down and I was very happy that I had spare time in which I did not have to worry about doing anything else. It moves along at a great pace being neither too fast nor too slow, the characters will grab you and you want to know more about them and the story will grab you and keep you reading till the end and then you need to know more. This book will grab you and there will be no escaping it. It is a must read and needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

I don't want to give away any spoilers in this review but it is a must read and have already recommended it to friends. You will not regret this read. Have already ordered book 2 and can't wait to learn more of the story.

I wish I hadn’t read it. I knew how it would end. Still I hoped to be satisfied at the end. I wasn’t. I didn’t like the descriptions of the marriage. Still very entertaining and nerve wrecking read, I see there are two more books, don’t think I’ll read them though :(.

Predictable. Same banter over and over. After the fifth chapter I skipped over five more at a time until I finished. Didn’t miss too much necessary info or clues in between.

Mt. TBR 2022: book #22

This book was pretty good, though I had my suspicions pretty early on. However, there was some need for an editor.
