Great Read

I was lot for my next read and came across this story and the ones that follow so decided to check it out and happy I did. Bella was a single mom trying to raise her daughter and she had a singing group but needed a record deal to really make her dreams come true and not have to continue dealing with a job she hated and a coworker she couldn't stand. Evan was a in the record business and was always looking for the next best group of singer to sign. And then there's his father making things hard on him by telling him he needs to get married and make his suck grandmother happy before she dies. And so it begins his father picks for him to ask so whether or not she agreed to the deal of if it works out you'd have to read and find out! I really enjoyed this story now on to the next. Thanks for sharing!

Terrible

This book felt like it was a template were only the names were changed. First of all, all this drama about the check was ridiculous. Let’s be logical. They had a deal, she got a record deal out of it, so what’s would be wrong with him getting a check? He didn’t know her when it was all agreed. Then what’s the point of asking to have a conversation if she is not going to listen? Why on earth would tell her friends (in a public place) and worse her 7 year old daughter something so personal? As for the showdown again, it’s inconceivable that they would behave like that in public in the age of social media. Nonsense all around.

The book was so good. I love interracial couples especially this one, I am married to a white man and the relationship has it's ups and downs but it's the best one Ive had in my 43 years.

But the story between Evan and Bella was so sweet, even the way it started out. That Sindy though was a hot mess I wish Bella would have punched her lights out. It was great how Evan got along with Daisy so well, that is s a big thumbs up.

This book seems rushed

I'm really surprised because I've read several books from Ms Hart; so the seemingly rushed feel of the book is a surprise.
