i was hoping, in the final death throes of june, i could finally turn this month around and make it A Good Reading Month, because it's been so fucking dismal so far.

but, of course, that's not happening.

my main problem with this book is how quickly snoe changed. actually no, i lied, my main problem is that his name is fucking SNOE. he was a wimpy little coward, and then the Evil Stepmother™ tries to kill him and he all of a sudden turns into a ruthless bloodthirsty bastard ready to sic his dogs demon wolves on anyone?

nope, not buying it. i know the desire for revenge is potent, but flipping a switch and changing the protagonist's personality like that is just lazy.

i also found it really hard to root for snoe and co after they killed some kids, because they were the family of one of the huntsman. i like dark shit, i'm not wholly against killing innocents (IN FICTION) but kids? it just made it impossible to root for snoe at all. he wasn't evil in a fun way, just evil in an... evil way.

i do admire alepoú's balls though. most writers wouldn't have made their protag cross that line, so kudos for the ballsyness, i guess.

the writing was... ok. not terrible, not good. the plot dragged on for way too long, and there was too much sex. yes, i'm saying there was too much sex.

maybe it's not that there was too much of it, per se, but that it became repetitive after a while, especially as we're in the middle of trying to kill a bunch of dudes or whatever.

basically - very mediocre, not for me, and yet again i am baffled at the GR average rating.

A nicely balanced story of bloodshed and orgies. 🖤
For me, one of the best retellings of Snow White. But you shouldn't be too attached to the original story. I was waiting for the seven dwarfs at the beginning. Oh boy was I off the mark. 🤣 It was a very good surprise for me so I won't go into details.
The seven playmates plus the one bonus lover make the story very smutty, but it didn't seem like too much sex to me.

Snoe’s mouth was used as if it was just a hole and he wasn’t a person. Snoe wasn’t even holding himself up anymore; he was no more than a toy to all seven of the men, and he honestly couldn’t think of why that was such a bad idea.

His hole was stretched and aching to be filled. His imagination wasn’t helping, picturing himself fucked to within an inch of his life. 🥵🥵🥵

As I said, there is also some carnage to admire and there is no shortage of plot.

He didn’t flinch from the carnage he’d grown numb to, and a part of him was rooting for more bloodshed. But he said nothing as he watched his men protect him. 😍😍😍

I love the progression that Snoe is undergoing. This actually has potential for a sequel. pretty please?

This book was a trip! I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to get going into this, but I loved it!

A couple of quick notes I want to make before getting into the book: (1) I appreciated that the author points out a very specific trigger warning that might be too much for some and lets you know exactly how to avoid it in the book; and (2) the author begs her family, especially her mom, not to read this book and says that if they do read it to never ever mention it. LOL. I thought it was hilarious bc I would feel the same. OK, on to the review.

I'm always a bit hesitant to read books that reimagine fairy tales, but WOW it really worked for me here. This is a very dark take (mind those TWs!) on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Here, we have Snoe Whyte and seven demon wolves. The world that Snoe lives in is really interesting. Witches are mostly in power, but there are also vampires, shifters and lowly humans.

The book starts out at the funeral for Snoe's father. His mother passed when he was younger and he has had to live with his stepmother and her two kids. Needless to say, they are not very nice to Snoe and basically push him out of the family home.

Snoe is just trying to do his own thing in the forest, but that still isn't good enough for good ole stepmom because Snoe is still the heir to his family's coven and her magic mirror tells her that he is more worthy.

“Someone else is more worthy of the position.” The mirror laughed, a deep menacing laugh that made Hilde’s stomach drop with dread. “The one they call Snoe will be the end to you and yours.”

Snoe's stepmother sends shifters from the renowned Huntsman pack to kill Snoe. He barely survives thanks to making a deal with a demon lord to save his life.

Snoe wanted revenge, craved it even. And the only way he was going to get it was with a demon’s help. He was willing to pay any price, including with his body.

All Snoe wants to do is take revenge on everyone who has wronged him and now he has seven deadly demon wolves at his side. The wolves effortlessly change from wolf to human and they are magnificent, hot AF and deadly.

Snoe just lay in their arms as they did what they wanted to his body. “We’ve always craved a master,” the leader whispered into Snoe’s ear as he groaned loudly and thrust harder into Snoe.

This book included my first MMMMMMMM (yes, there are 8 Ms there!) scenes and I was so here for them. OMFG. The sex scenes in this book are so filthy and scorching hot. Snoe wins the loyalty of the demon wolves through a very spicy game that they play.

“I don’t mind following you.” He dragged his thumb over Snoe’s bottom lip. “As long as I get to take part in your body.”

With the help of his devoted wolves Snoe starts plotting the ultimate payback. This book is not for the faint of heart. Things get quite bloody and there is a lot of murder going on, but it is oh so satisfying to see Snoe take his revenge against all of those who have done him wrong.

Snoe wanted revenge like it was his next breath. Guilt was an emotion Snoe thought he couldn’t feel anymore. What did that say about him? Was he becoming more of a monster? Was it worth it? Yes.

“You play with fire,” [the demon lord] said. Snoe shrugged. “What can I say? I enjoy being warm.”

Oh, I do love a good revenge story! 😏 My only qualms with this is the revenge plans/preparation took way too long ... lots of skimming through the middle ... and then the actual revenge scene happened way too fast. 🤷‍♂️ A good read ... especially for this time of year ... but not as good as the first three of this series that I read.

This is not for the faint of heart

Well, you should pay close attention to triggers and warning. The whole massacre (kids and innocent people), carnage, and harem sex is real and so very dark. Snoe is downright obnoxious and horrible when it comes to revenge and taking what is rightfully his, but he is totally different with his men. There were both dubious consent and moral.

If you want to unleash your inner beast, Grim delights are here for you discovery.

Genre: MM Paranormal Romance
Type: Standalone book from Grim and Sinister Delights collection
POV: Third Person - Multiple
Rating:

Even though Snoe Blake grew up in a powerful and highly respected family, being a leader was never part of his aspirations. However, everything changed when he was forced to fight for his survival. He vowed to exact revenge and reclaim his lineage no matter what the consequences.

This book popped my MM harem cherry, and I have to say I was concerned for Snoe’s holes for being overused lol! Dark fairytale retelling is my jam, and I liked the story in general but several things were a bit off the mark.

But Snoe wanted revenge, craved it even. And the only way he was going to get it was with a demon’s help. He was willing to pay any price, including with his body.

I wanted to root for Snoe, but his character was just not convincing enough for me. His change was too sudden and too extreme to be believable. For half of the book, I had a hard time distinguishing the other characters and the pace was slow, especially with the repetitiveness in the story, including the sometimes tedious sex scenes. I did like the overall dynamics between the characters.

Crimson Painted Snow is a story of survival and vengeance. It might appeal to readers looking for a dark MM retelling of Snow White.

The first half of this book was awesome, especially the sex scenes being steamy hot I had to fan my face. However, the other half was ... just ANOTHER story.

The writer created such memorables characters even though we have seven dwarfs hot men to drool over. Their characteristics were distinguised very well, which made me remember them so fast (my bais goes to Gunner and Dex, of course). The development of Snoe in unbelievable, he goes from a weak little witch to a bloodthirsty spoiled little evil. I mean, this book is dark, it's about a story of revenge and bloodshed, but c'mon, I came to the term with I didn't really care whom Snoe would kill next. There're too many bodies, too much death I stopped caring about Snoe and the overall story.

Ummmm, and the end, that was so abrupt I didn't see it coming and leaving me unsatisfied like that.

So, 3 stars for those very hot ménage scenes.

Writing:

The writing in this really pulled me out of the story. It's mostly in short, choppy sentences which makes it hard to get involved in the plot. It's also very repetitive - every paragraph says the same thing at least twice, and it got boring very quickly. Things are overexplained as well, and then of course....repeated. It doesn't work to maintain or build the tension or menace required for a dark romance.

POV choices:

Why is there a POV of the evil stepmother? I'm used to villain-but-love-interest POV, but I'm pretty sure the stepmother is not the love interest here.

Setting:

Most of this made me feel like it was standard fairytale/medieval type world, and then cellphones are mentioned. It was very jarring.

180 personality switch:

Where did Snoe get this demon tattoo sigil thing? That came out of nowhere. He also goes from Mr. I Only Want to Grow Roses to "I will sacrifice everyone to you and fuck your seven demon wolves for power to regain the throne I didn't care about three pages ago". What happened? Totally different person. I'd get wanting revenge, but his motivation is to take back his throne. That he's not suited for, and never wanted. Don't get it.

Overall, I was not feeling the dark in this. Or the story. Or the characters. Or really anything.

I was 45% of the way through and knew that this book wasn’t ever going to be long enough for me. I’d been so looking forward to reading it and knew I’d dread when it was over. I was right. It was such a clever twist on the fairy tale.
The heat was insane, each character so well developed with parts that made you think ‘yes this is so like the original character, but so completely new and individual.’ You really fall for each of the wolves, their killer blood thirsty natures and their adoration for Snoe is captivating. Snoe is fierce, if a little crazy crazy.
This book is a must for anyone who likes the darker bloodier romance. I really think this cements Brea is the queen of dark paranormal mmm+ books. I’m sorry to see the end of this book, I could quite happily have heard much more from each of the wolves!

Brea has really out done herself with this one

Okay but this book, this book right here... Wow. Just... WOW! It was funny and fun and oddly really sweet at some points. You know, in his own twisted way because while there is a romance present, this book is extremely dark.

If you know the story of Snow White, you know the basics of this book. Everything else is a massive spoiler so this review is going to be quite vague. What I can say is that if you love dark romances, books with great characters, modern fairy tale retellings, and books overflowing with smut (seriously if you don't like sex in your books, look elsewhere because they do it a lot) you will adore this.

It should go without say that if you dark books, don't read this. There's a lot of violence, it's bloody, and a lot of people died. The characters, while absolutely fantastic characters, are not good people. Lawful good who? True neutral where? There's none of that. Everyone's a bit twisted, everyone is morally gray, and there are a few people just want to watch the world burn. In the case of our elves turn demon wolves, they're just team Snow, everyone else be damned.

I loved this book. And not just because of the smut, although that's a big part of it for me. Child, those group sex scenes...my life will never be the same. I loved the casual diversity, I loved the casual queerness, and the overall story was really interesting with a lot of political intrigue. Some of those twists will have you gagged. It's one of the best harem books I've ever read and easily makes top three in fairy tale retellings. It's not a book for everyone but for those of us who've been around the block once or twice, it's amazing. 10 stars because I high key want a Wolly and Nyght and Smooth and.... actually just give me all seven, for myself. Not at the same time though, I'm not Snoe, I'm not tryin' die.

With a shift in the Blake Coven leadership, vying interests try to claim the position leaving Snoe Blake out in the cold, but those who underestimated Snoe soon learn Mr. Whyte is not to be reckoned with.

“Now you know what it feels like to want death but be denied.”

Snow White has always been my favorite fairy tale, so reading this dark re-telling was a treat; however, the narrative could have been much tighter and the character development fell a bit short. Snoe was definitely an unabashed horny man and his seven dutiful demon wolves were always willing to indulge in such consumption.

Narrated in third person and in multiple POV, Crimson Painted Snow is a MM reverse harem paranormal story steeped in revenge.

Hmmmm...I hate to give books low stars. But this one was not a winner for me, to be honest I almost did not want to finish it, which is rare for me. Sometimes books say "dark" and they don't really mean it. Boy, this one sure did. It is a very dark retelling of Snow White. It is not for the feint of heart. I don't find myself typically shying away from darker themed books, but I at least like being able to relate to one of the MC's in some way. I guess I expected the snow white of this book to be more like the typical snow white (sweet, soft, nurturing, good) and the story itself to have the darker themes. The character is not what I was expecting at all. So if you like dark books, dark characters with questionable morals, gore and lots of killing...this book is for you! Enjoy! I am now going to find myself a palate cleanser!

Time of death: 48%

This is supposed to be a queer retelling of Snow White, but instead of seven dwarves, we get seven demon wolves and orgies that do not make up for the incoherent mess of the plot. Snoe, our MC, has no distinct personality and seems to be a different person in every chapter. I cannot tell the wolves apart and honestly, I don’t care to try. I don’t have the energy to carry on with this.

Snow White but darker

For someone so gentle and nurturing, Snoe seems to delight in suffering and murder. I'm not going to lie and say that this wasn't well written, but some of these topics are at the border of what I can read myself.

It's quite imaginative to make Snoe a witch prince and the dwarves to be instead seven demon wolves. Of course, each with a different name to the dwarves in the original fairy tale, but still quite recognisable in their personalities. Besides their glee for the hunt and the kill, I do kind of like them, I have to admit.

There seems to be something going on between Snoe and Ezyrah. I feel like not everything was mentioned, and I kind of want to know their history, and what happens to them after all this (they're not actually together, but it does seem to hint heavily that there is something between them).

Picked for a challenge but not useable. Snoe Whyte and the seven demon wolves plus demon lord. A revenge mission turned soul collection HEA. Snow was sometimes damsel, sometimes cold leader. The guys blended in with only Wolly the comedic one, Smooth the sleeping one and Gunner the grumpy one standing out. Mostly sex with plot. Various POVs including evil stepmother and evil step brother.

As much as I wanted to enjoy this, and as much as I loved some of the author’s other books, this really didn’t work for me.

It started off great—political intrigue, a dead father figure, and an evil stepmother, as well as a world that had high potential for being exciting and well-developed. Snoe was innocent, demure, cute almost. I liked him.

But then…. Basically, his revenge plan felt like a complete 180 to me. It was absolutely jarring. I got whiplash and could not get into the rest of the story. He suddenly went from this sweet, innocent, Snow White character to sacrificing literal children to a demon with absolutely no remorse. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I had to reread it, just to make sure I read it right. And look. I’m not one to claim the moral high ground or anything, or even hold characters to a moral standard (I like me a good anti-hero/morally ambiguous character) but this felt abrupt and… out of character? It really, really didn’t work.

And look, it’s not like I was expecting an exact retelling of Snow White. That would be boring. I get that the author wanted to give her Snoe Whyte a backbone and a twist, but still. It might have worked better for me if it didn’t have that brand of retelling in the blurb.

Even though most of the plot didn’t work for me (especially this whole revenge thing, and all the side characters—let alone the interludes from the side characters’ perspectives… I wasn’t a fan of that), there were parts of this I didn’t mind. Namely, the sexy parts. The author doesn’t shy away from a sex scene, even a sex scene with multiple partners. In that regards, I was not disappointed, but as fun as those scenes were, they could not overshadow the whiplash I got from the plot.

I really wish I liked this more, and honestly, I could see others really enjoying this. It just didn’t work for me.

This has mostly positive reviews so I don’t know, maybe I am just old and tired but DNF @32%

This book has: way too many main characters. We get 8, freaking eight, main characters without counting the main antagonists. We get the book mainly from Snoe’s POV but we also get the POV of the main antagonist. Hated that immediately. It ruins the surprise in books when I know what the main antagonist is doing behind closed doors. When the confrontation comes I won’t be surprised because I already knew what was going to happen and the climax will fall apart. We also get the 7 demon dogs...wolves or whatever, thoughts in between everything and I can’t differentiate between them at all.

But the most... weird thing was Snoe’s 180. His personality just... did a 180 out of the sudden and it was jarring and confusing and it gave me whiplash. He went from slightly innocent and sweet to cold and cruel. I don’t mind him changing, since I knew it was going to happen, I just mind the way it way it was done. It didn’t have a transition and so it felt... weird.

The only reason I am not giving this 1 star is because the world and lore and everything else had a good foundation and it could have been great.

The best part of taking a hiatus from reading is a lot on my waitlist has been released, such as this beauty. It also means that I’m not worn out certain plot lines.

Spoilerish triggers below.....

Now let me tell you, this book was dark... and fucking awesome. It’s not the dark you usually get in romance books... The romance in this book is fine, there is no violence or darkness between lovers. The darkness in this book is the murder of anyone that’s gets in Snoe’s way, this includes men, women and children, it includes the guilty and innocent. The book is a fucking bloodbath, and it was oddly satisfying to see it taken that far.

I will admit the 20 pages sex scenes usually bore the crap out of me and it did get a little old towards the end, but I mean you have 8 men involved so I get it that things take time to involve everyone. I also might mention that on top of this book being a bloodbath, it was also a cumbath... no joke...

Anyways, in the end, I enjoyed this rendition of Snow White, while I would normally rate a 4 star, I’m going to bump it to 5 due it not only being unique in plot but it was also a highly dark twist on the story.

This one is going to stick with me. I adore retellings when they are done right like this one. It was clever and somehow original despite the retelling aspect.
Full of blood, pain, violence and a lot of sex, it is very dark. Snoe is no angel and is even slightly unhinged but it works. While dark, there are moments of sweetness and the demons get to share their pov. Each are quite distinctive which is impressive with such a large cast of characters.
There is also a few pov chapters from the villains of the piece which was great for perspective

Wooooooow. This book was intense. I mean, the sex was intense. The violence was intense. The revenge was incredibly sweet. I loved every word of it.

I thought that Hilde really brought everything on herself. Snoe just wanted to be left alone, but she couldn't manage to do that, so he turned to vengeance, and boom.

Snoe went through all those changes, but the biggest one was his 7 men. And frankly, I don't blame him one little bit for wanting to keep his guys, because I certainly would've.

I really loved these guys.

I really enjoyed this twisted tale of Snow White! It had all the aspects of the original tale but MM themed, witches, demon wolves and a Demon Lord. Lots and lots of sexy times but also the story was engaging. Once this series is over I would loved to revisit Snoe and wolves but really the Demon Lord had my attention because I want to know why he did what he did to Snoe when he was younger???

Crimson Painted Snow - Dark Paranormal Romance MMM

Snoe Blake was born into a family of Witches, his father Alistair Blake was the Leader of the Coven. When Snoe’s mother died his father married Hilde who had two sons of her own, Dash and Chase.

On the death of his father Hilde wanted her son Dash to inherit the position of Leader. In order for that to happen she needed to get rid of Snoe.

Snoe did not want to be Leader, he was a gentle natured man who liked nothing better than to spend his days taking care of his White rose garden.

Unfortunately one day he was attacked by the notorious Huntsman Pack on Hilde’s instruction. He was to be killed. Left for dead, the Huntsmen departed. Outside forces intervened and Snoe eventually recovered and lived in a cottage in the woods. He had “befriended” a group of seven Demon Wolf Shifters who now guarded his life night and day. He could have been destroyed by them but he had challenged them in a very bizarre contest which he won. Nothing could harm him with his seven demons around.

Snoe loved his 7 demons and they all adored him. They all shared the same bed with Snoe and all engaged in the orgy like activities.

Snoe was planning his revenge on Hilde and her sons and in order to do so he had to bring a group of natural enemies together, Vampires, Demons and all the other Witch coven members.

When Snoe managed to get a plan and forces in place what followed was a bloodbath. But Snoe had made a contract with the Demon Lord, in exchange for souls, he would let Snoe live.

Now the Demon Lord was here, looking for his payment.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Normally this genre wouldn’t appeal to me, not into Vampires, Witches and Demons. But reading something the author wrote begging her mother not to read this book, I decided to try it.
It’s actually based on the Fairytale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
However it’s a wonder the pages didn’t catch fire from the steamy flames 🔥🧨🔥🧨 . I was rooting for Snoe to get his revenge but I didn’t enjoy all the blood and guts spilling throughout. I’m glad I finished the story but don’t envisage my reading anything as bloodthirsty in the future.
This book might have ruined the Snow White and the seven dwarfs Disney cartoon for me forever. Don’t get me wrong, I love the stories re-telling but this one hits to close to the original Disney version. Like too close to be a comfortable re-telling. I kept picturing those dwarfs from the cartoon, while Snoe was giving them names after they just had an orgy. It was unsettling. And speaking of the orgy, the book has the longest sex scene I’ve ever read, it takes about 10 % of the book...
The book lacks any relationships development. They just meet, fuck, take care of vengeance, then fuck some more, some more vengeance, then someone else comes around and also gets involved in fucking and so on. It’s like watching a YouTube video with pauses for some advertisement, but instead of advertisement you’re being shown porn.
I have so many questions. Like why would the demon lord gave Snoe 7 low demons? Why they didn’t attack him? Why they fucked him instead? Why they felt the way the felt toward him from the beginning? The list of questions is endless.
We don’t actually know a lot about the main character and his life before. So we don’t know what person he is apart from the fact that he wants to be left alone and tend to his garden. And then he goes abruptly from the meek weakling to the vengeful cruel man without any remorse. I understand that it’s hard to develop 8 characters in a stand alone novel, but there was’t any attempt at that. Maybe it would make more sense to shorten the fucking and add some talking/feeling?
It looks like the only climax of the plot happens at the beginning when Snoe almost dies. I kept expecting something big to happen toward the end of the book, some obstacle to appear in the way to his revenge and HEA, but there was none. Everything just went according to his plan.
I can’t believe that someone was so much into this book that it was recommended several times for me to read.
I’m really not sure how I feel about this book. It is way darker than the books I normally read. None of the characters in this book were good and that included the MC. There were things that Snoe did in this book that were truly unforgiveable. But once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to know how Snoe got his revenge. I just wish a bunch of innocent people didn’t have to die for him to get it. Ultimately that is what brought my rating down.
Ok so very long review coming up.
So a bit confused cause I personally felt like the story was all over the place.
Snoe is the son of the great Blake leader who dies (for reasons we still don’t know, he just dies and it’s not explained if it’s cause of natural causes or something), and his stepmother hates him and he manages to escape to the woods somewhere far away near a shifter town.
Anyways his stepmother Hilde is trying to kill him cause she wants the witches king throne that’s now empty, and she doesn’t want Snoe to come back tot sue it so she hires some shifters to kill Snoe and then also told them to place a magical paper on him to torture him with pain.
Also Snoe has 2 step brothers by marriage and a stepsister who is half his sister. Anyways only 1 brother Dash ever bullied him and the other two are afraid of the Hilde so they just kinda shut up about everything, and ignore what happens to Snoe cause their mother is a bitch.
Anyway after Snoe gets tortured by the shifters who find him he makes a deal with a demon, made very obvious it’s the same demon who Hilde talks to. She doesn’t even know but if she had never listened to the demon in the mirror, Snoe never would have done what he does in the book. So she’s smart but in my opinion she just sounds like an idiot.
He gets 7 hot dudes that are low level demons and of course their first meeting is an all out orgy, which I’ll be honest I enjoyed. I kinda got bored after the second orgy tbh.
Anyway he goes on a major revenge plot, where he hunts down all the huntsman that tried to kill him. And he doesn’t just kill the huntsman, nope he kills their wives, friends, colleagues, there by mistake friends, children, whoever gets in his ways.
At this point I know Snoe was a ducking psycho with no actual emotions cause wtf. I understand killing the huntsman but killing everyone they knew is a little messed up. And he has his demons do it for him.
Then using his very very big connections, he enslaved one of the huntsman and some of that guys friends who were at his place, which is so messed up. I get the huntsman guy but the other people hadn’t done anything to him. But it’s describe like oh they are from huntsman clan so we should kill ‘em all.
He then goes and threatens basically every single high level witch that exists, threatens them, kills their kids, and everything else. All while killing all their servants, innocent or not. Most of them innocent cause most are humans and it’s shown that humans have basically no rights in this world at all.
He legit just goes on a killing spree and he has no moral compass at all. He’s taking his hatred for his father and step family out on everyone.
No regard for innocent people whatsoever.
He also kills his stepsister and the step brother who never actually did anything to him. Yes they didn’t take action to save him, but their mother is also a control freak cunt.
This guy is a literally crazy, he does whatever he wants, harms whoever he wants, and kills whoever he wants, regardless of their actions.
I didn’t like his character at all. The romance of course was very shallow, the plot was very boring and he has some serious plot armour. He is boring, and his only personality is the fact he’s seductive, idk. My guy was able to seduce 7 demons and a fucking demon lord (who supposedly toys with witches on the usual basis but our dear Snoe is “different”)
Also we find his mother had some deal with a demon but author never bother to further elaborate on the past of his parents, of the clan, of what was going on. None of that is given to us. Just that she died in a summoning circle and had a deal with vampire clan and was being used for blood. But no other context.
In the end, surprise surprise Snoe kills everyone, like everyone, and then has sex with his demons again, then he’s king and end of story.
No depth, no character depth, no romantic depth, no relationship depths, no side character depth. Everything is so linear and there’s no complexity to anything.
Someone described this as "A nicely balanced mixture of bloodshed and orgy's." And that just about sums it up. This is a darker, more evil twist in the tale of Snow White. Here we meet Snoe at his father's funeral with his stepmother and step brothers glaring at him. He is a Blake and his father's true heir to the company and fortune, they have other ideas. Grim and graphic at times but a totally engrossing story. We mustn't forget Snoe's 7 wolves, the taming of them was freaking sex fest but they are loyal to a fault!! Snoe is tossed aside and presumed dead, but he goes on a journey to wreak havoc and revenge. He takes on his dead mothers maiden name of Whyte becoming Snoe Whyte and in violence he gives pain and torture to those that did the same to him. An utterly wonderful read, long but meaty and sexy as heck.
- MMMMMMMM (8 M’s lol)
- Witches/ vampires/ shifters/ demons
- Evil step mother and step brothers
- Brutal
- Lots of killing of anyone and everyone
- Revenge
This book was the MMC either hooking up or killing someone or ordering someone to be killed lol.
Even though this book was mainly killing or sex, the actual plot and concept of this book was really interesting. The author did a great job of doing a unique retelling of Snow White, it wasn’t the copy and paste of the plot you normally see.
“But Snoe wanted revenge, craved it even. And the only way he was going to get it was with a demon’s help. He was willing to pay any price, including with his body.”
Retelling of: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
*Part of the Grim and Sinister Delights series but can be read in any order, they are not connected at all*
