Definitely not what I was expecting in this fourth book, but still a very engaging story. It was nice to see Sofia's story and there was very little about the community in Arizona that the series seemed situated around. The reader meets Jude, an immigrant, who is in the USA for his Masters degree. The book has these two that don't have a relationship with the Lord presently, although Jude definitely has the background since his father was a pastor. An emerging faith is shown for both of them. A few things happening in this book that made me want to say "No!" , but it added to the storyline and delivered a 5 star read. I am anxious to read the next book!

This book was not quite what I expected but it was still very good. The ending was quite a surprise. I'm glad I have the next book in this series. I was given a copy of this book but was not required to post a review.

An immigrant whose fiance had dumped him a week before their wedding, an American in love with a married man who dumps her; a start of a complicated relationship? Both have moved away from God.
The story is about confusion, longing for true love, and forgiveness. I enjoyed getting to know Jude and was glad to see Sofia in book 4, and how her character grew.
There were a few twists I didn't see coming and the ending wasn't what I expected.
