Inferno's Clutch MC #5

Fated for Pitch Black

Blurb:
Pitch Black

Darkness is where I live even in the light of day. I don’t care about anyone except those affiliated with my club. My heart was hardened along time ago, making me good at what I do for my brothers and nothing will ever change that.

There are reasons why I’m so good at what I do, but I refuse to talk about it. Not even when my brothers question me. No one can fix what was broken. She left and isn’t coming back.

That is until fate intervenes, bringing her straight to my doorstep.

The woman who changed me for the worst. She’s the one responsible for gutting me the first time. How the fuck am I supposed to move past this? I have a hard time letting anyone who fucks me over back in, but does she really expect me to let her in pass the threshold?

Can I accept her apology and reasons for her actions, or do I cast her out to the wolves nipping at her heels?

Either way she still has the one thing of mine that will always be hers—my soul.

Fated For Pitch Black is book 5 in the "Inferno's Clutch MC" series. So far, I've enjoyed 3 out of the 4 books in this series. I didnt' enjoy the last book in this series mainly because I disliked Axel.

That all changed again with this book. Fated For Pitch Black was an amazing read. There wasn't ONE thing I disliked about this book. And I mean that genuinely. Pitch Black is the male MC, he's been mentioned in other books, an dhas always been mysterious. The love of his life has always been the female MC Angelina. They were set to move in together many years ago, and she "left him." But things are not always as they seem, right? They meet again 12 years later, and Pitch Black finds out the truth of what happened 12 years ago.

Pitch Black wasn't the most ... warm character because ultimately, his heart was broken when Angelina left. It caused him to shut down and shut people out. Once he finds out the truth and gets Angelina back, he changes for the better.. and the "real" Pitch Black comes out.

This story has some dark moments, so you should definitely read triggers.
read this for sure.

Disappointed. Unbeknownst to him she ultimately leaves to protect him. I think it bothered me that he didn't try to find her or fight for her. Anyway fast forward 12 years. He sees her at the park after finding out she works at the hospital. That night instead of going after her to see why her son looks like him he goes to a fight and screws a ring girl against a locker. The very next day Angelina is taken. No guilty feelings for not going to her instead of screwing around. Maybe she wouldn't have been abducted if he went after her. She remained celibate the whole time. No guilty feelings on his part when she says she was with no one else. I didn't like the part were she mentions feeling rejected and he mentions her thinking he'd want a stray. Why wouldn't she think that he'd been screwing others for 12 years.

Another smashing hit by this amazing author!! She really knows how to tell a story that you just don’t want to put down. This story of Pitch Black and Angelina had me wanting more!! Pitch and Lina were high school sweethearts but Angelina’s father was powerful and drove them apart. Now she is back with a secret of her own and she is in trouble!! Will Pitch be able to forgive her when he knows the real reason she left breaking his heart? Will him and his Inferno Clutch brothers be able to protect his Lina?

Angelina and Peirce were meant to be together until something bad happened 12 years ago. Can they come back from it? Is the heartache, hatred and betrayal enough to keep them apart? Will Peirce find out about the secret Angelina has hidden from him? So many unanswered questions will be answered. Love this book.

Not "safe"

The trigger warning lumps too many things together. It's not clear. It basically says that if anything in the world bothers you, don't read this instead of saying that the book isn't "safe" or that it contains violence.

This book is not a safe book. There is outside of the relationship sex. It doesn't belong in any kind of romance book at all.

This book is way too similar to others in the series. The ending was rushed. It just wasn't good. It had potential but it was wasted.

Fated for Pitch Black was a short, intense read. Fated for Pitch Black is another awesome book written by E..C. Land. I love all of books written by E.C. Land and Fate For Pitch Black is no exception. Fated For Pitch Black is part of the Inferno’s Clutch MC. It is a spin off of the DRMC. I fell in love with the DRMC which is the books I first started reading from E.C. Land. All of E.C. Land’s books have some topic or issue that each couple needs to overcome both as a couple and as individuals. Usually pertaining to something in their past. Fated For Pitch Black is about Pit and Lina’s story. From the first page to the last I could not put it down and was captivated with their story. I literally stayed up all night reading about Pit and Lina. I wanted to know what would happen. As E.C. Land’s fans all know everything is not what it seems and there are usually lots of twists, turns, things going sideways, and surprising revelations. Fated For Pitch Black is no exception. I am so glad that Pit and Lina found their HEA and will be having another book further down the line called Angelina’s Fate. Can’t wait to read Carrying Blaze’s Mark and Tony’s Hope as both is about couple that have already had part of their stories already. As always, I highly recommend Inferno Clutch’s MC and any of E.C. Land’s books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've been curious about Pitch Black since reading "Owning Victoria", he's always seemed a bit detattched from everyone else and dark, but now we finally got to know the reason to that! He's been heartbroken after his high school sweetheart up and left him over a decade ago, and hurt because he didn't understand why she left.

Meanwhile Angelina, who we met in "Axel's Promise" when she deilivered Tiny and Chains' babies, has been trying to fly under the radar while getting her medical degree, but when her nightmares finally catches up with her, she has to rely on the only person that has ever made her feel safe.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. So this explains some things about Pitch Black and Angelina in previous books, especially their personality. They had a young love that was torn apart. He carried the anger and chip on his shoulder for over a decade. She suffered and tried not to think of him every time she looked at her son. He may have carried on without a soul but the moment she is taken he knows what he has to do. She will never heal the damage to her heart but he will try in the end. He was not my favorite character. I think it was his way of easily doing things detrimental to the the love he knows is there. He has always carried it by does not seem to feel it at times. Angelina did deserve better, but she loves him and that wins in the end. I enjoyed the book, not as much as the others, but it was a good MC story. I look forward to what comes next

Angelina (Lina)and Pitch Black (Peirce) were childhood sweethearts, though Angelina's parents disapproved of them being together, for Angelina was promised to another when she was just 3 years old. The last time Pitch Black saw Angelina she was in the arms of another who had just burned down his home with him just narrowly escaping death grasp. But he didnt know what Angelina had to suffer through all those years they were together the beatings she endured and when she turns back up in town and shes not alone. When Angelina's past comes back to get her, her son Carson knows who to go to for help, but will Pitch Black be able to look past what happened to save the woman who stole his soul? A well written biker romance  with a great story line and addition to the Infernos clurch series. A tale of second chances and new beginnings with action, suspense, twists, desires and more!

I so did not see this the way I thought it would! IT was fast paced as per usual with Miss Land and it was spectacularly written. I am so glad that there will be another addition to this powerfully engaging couple! Still have numerous questions but I will wait until the next addition for this couple is released. I think all my questions will be answered with that release. You have a remarkable way about you E.C. and I am so glad that I took a chance on you and your talent although I am just a fan you have a fan forever! Pit and Lina are what I would consider soul mates. They have been through life and every hardship that could befall them. I hope that with Carson they can become the family they were meant to be. He seems like a great kid. I just want them happy and secure in the fact that not only do they have each other but the Club behind them. It is remarkable to have such an amazing family.

This is another phenomenal read in this series but please be aware that you need to read most of E C Lands books in order to get the full impact of her stories

Corbin (Pitch Black) and Angelina where high school sweethearts but her father never thought that Corbin was good enough for her in fact he treat him like dirt and eventually he managed to destroy the relationship they had. Angelina's leaving caused Corbin to live up to his road name of Pitch Black there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his brothers but that is the only people that eh has any time for Now twelve years later Angelina has returned and she us in trouble and the only person she thinks may be able to help her is Pitch Black but when he learns the secret that she has kept all this time a twelve year old son. Will this change how he feels about her will he still hate her or maybe now he will have some understanding of the decisions she made either way he knows that he will protect her and his son.

This is another great book by E.C. Land in the Inferno’ Clutch MC series. I love Pitch Black (Pierce) and I was so excited to read his story and I most definitely was not disappointed. Angelina and Pitch Black are so perfect together and when Angelina’s parents intervene in her life when she is only 17 we know these characters are on a roller coaster ride. When they meet again 12 years later Angelina is back in town to stay but she also has their son with her. A son Pitch Black did not know existed. Lots of emotional moments and the usual male alphaness that we have come to love of our MC men and we are presented with a wonderful story of love, heartache and forgiveness. I cannot wait to read more about these characters as the series progresses.

This was a short read with dark undertones . As always this author hooks you from page 1 .

We find out Angelina and Pitch Black were planning to move in together but for some unknown reason Angelina left him .

Skip forward to 12 years later when they meet again and Pitch finds out things are not as they seem .

I liked Angelina . She was smart , sweet, and self sacrificing for those that she loved . She really got dealt a bad hand in life .

Pitch Black was cold and heartless because his heart had been broken by Angelina . When he finds out the truth he’s a much more likable character .

As always I love this author’s books and will continue to read them all . I love that I can read them in one sitting and they are never boring.

Pitch Black and Angelina were high school sweethearts that were forced apart by her parents. Pitch was the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks that was abandoned by his high school girlfriend with no explanation. Angelina was the daughter of a powerful family that forced her to leave unexpectedly. She comes back, how she is able to come back is a bit unclear and confusing, and when she is targeted by the reason she was forced to leave she returns to Pitch for help. It takes a minute for Pitch to get past old scars but they reconnect with loads of action and plenty of steam.

A hard fought 2nd chance that if it wasn't for the fact that their young love never died even though he** and fire tried to come between.

Peirce and Lina are the rich girl/poor boy story where her parents thought they could separate them but a miracle ensured they are bound together forever.

Fast forward years later. Pitch Black is born - like the dark he's cold and uncaring. Lina is back home and working as a nurse. Fate brings them together again but now there is enemies and secrets. Can their be forgiveness? What happened years ago?

I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

This is a fantastic book by E.C. I love the Inferno’s Clutch and all the characters we have met. Pitch and Angelina were high school sweethearts. They were planning on being together forever. Her dad had other plans. He didn't count on fate. These two are fated to be together. They have some obstacles to overcome before that can happen. There are twists and shocking revelations that come up. Will Pitch open his heart again or will he continue to keep his heart hardened? Will he allow love to bloom when all the truths are revealed? Will Angelina wait? Is there a HEA? Does Fate correct a wrong? No spoilers allowed! Check it out and see for your self!Loved it!!

The latest addition to the Infernos Clutch MC series, and it's so good. Pitch (Pierce) and Lina were in love, but secrets and her father tore them apart 12 years ago. Now she's back, with a secret and needing Pitchs protection. She has always loved him, and knows he will help her. Once PB realizes what happened, he also realizes he never stopped loving her either. There's angst, violence, steamy love scenes between the two, and more great scenes with the Ol ladies and the brothers. Ive been waiting for Pitch Blacks story since Blazes book, and this didn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next one!

I have been waiting for Pitch Black's story and let me say that E.C. Land does not disappoint. I love this whole series and the fact that it ties into the Devil's Riot MC series also. Pitch Black and Angelina were high school sweethearts just waiting for her to turn 18 so she can get out from under her parent's hold and move in with Pitch Black. Angelina's family makes that impossible and what happens turns Pitch Black into the man he is today...This is a short but great story full of drama, suspense, lies, betrayal, heartbreak, but also found again love. Can't wait for whoever's story is next.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

Wow, another wonderful story in the Inferno's Cluch MC, I do suggest reading them in order. There are some triggers so please take care.

Pitch Black has hated Angelina just as much as he's loved her for over a decade, since the night they were torn from each other. Lina is back in town with her son, a mini-me copy of Pit.
Danger is following Lina and when she gets taken, Carson runs to get his dad. Can Pitch and his brothers save Lina?

Well-written, fast-paced and quick to read, enough drama, emotion and intrigue to keep you interested. Wonderful Story..

Another fantastic story

This was a great story with unexpected twists, humor, angst, but in the end, it was as it should have always been. The only thing that I wish was different about these stories is that they were longer. It hasn't really affected the story itself, but there are things that seem to get mentioned then forgotten about in the end. Not major things, but I think that it's things that would give the story more depth. I can't really say more or I'll give away spoilers, which I refuse to do. ;)
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Knowing the day would come, Angelina has always been prepared to protect her son. When that day happened, Pitch Black meets the son he knew nothing about, and now must act to save the mother of his child. Pit, being a member of the Infernos Clutch MC, readers can expect other members to be a part of their story with all the drama, angst and feels readers have come to expect from E.C. Land. As twelve years have gone by, and the secrets are revealed, an enduing love between them will have them finding their HEA. **I was gifted "Fated for Pitch Black" via Bookfunnel leaving my review based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!

Angelina is ripped away from Pitch Black and pays dearly for her relationship. When she is finally able to move back to Louisiana, her past closes in and she will have an unlikely savior as she gets a second chance. Pitch Black is in for the shock of his life when he sees who comes through the door getting a son he never knew he had. When he learns of the danger Angelina is in & the sacrifices she has made to protect not only him but their son, he will stop at nothing to save the woman who has always had his heart.

Different title but same storyline

I ave read all 5 of the books in this series so far and although I have enjoyed them they are all so very similar from start to finish. Hey meet their girl or get her back, get together officially, boy pulls away and girl gets upset or angry, they declare their feelings again and every book has a club stray try to come on to the main man of the book and be put in their place by their ol’ lady or himself. The bad guy gets killed and happy ending. I do enjoy the books but I can predict it from start to finish except who the bad guys will be his time.

This is another great read from E.C. I am love the Inferno’s Clutch and the characters we have met. I love how the MCs are intertwining. Pitch and Angelina were sweethearts during her senior year. They were planning on being together forever. Her dad had other plans for her. Fate always gets its way though, and these two are fated to be together. Lina and Pitch have some obstacles to overcome and there are some twists and shocking revelations that come up. E.C. Is doing a fabulous job with these men and the women who capture their hearts. She leaves me always wanting more and more.

She is back and needs his help...but will he forgive her when he learns why she left

Fated for Pitch Black is the fifth book in the Inferno's Clutch MC series. This is not a standalone book so you have to read the previous books in the series, as the characters and story-line crossover. This is a fast-paced novella about Angelina and Corbin "PItch Black". Their story delivers a couple gut punches along with love and a second chance with your first love.

This was originally a 3 star review until I read the author's plans another book for these two characters. I appreciate her willingness to do this since I didn't feel like I got enough of these characters, especially with the somewhat abrupt ending with the protagonist. The circumstances that tore them apart were horrendous and Pitch Black and Angelina more than deserved their HEA. I look forward to the continuation of their next story.

Teenage high school sweetheart Angelina and Pierce thought they had it all until one fateful day that saw them both changed Pierce taking on his road name Pitch Black to a whole new level blackening his heart to any chance at love and poor Angelina knows the pain she has caused can't help who her family is.
These two are separated by circumstances that aren't their own but fate knows they are destined for each other and as Ela would predict things will be ok.
Yet another book I could not put down till it was finished these guys just get better and better.

Finally!!! I was sooo excited to read pitch blacks story and I was not disappointed! E.C Land did it AGAIN! I was hooked from page 1 and read it in one sitting. My heart broke for Angelina in some parts of the book and you can really feel the emotions. Some twists come that I didn’t even see coming( I won’t go into details if you wanna know read the book!) you also feel for pitch black... this story was intense, action packed, filled with love and some hate. I HIGHLY recommend!

Fated For Pitch Black has made it as one of my favorites. It's impossible to not be wrapped up immediately in this book. Once the story begins to unfold, it's fast and keeps your wanting to know more.

It's full of unconditional love based on a past shared experience, one that has broken their hearts and souls but that themselves can mend, and subsequently heal each other.

A must read. Pick up your copy today...
