The Dragons' Bathhouse

Rate this book
Warning: This is a romance story of a human girl who is the soulmate of her enemies, twin dragon princes.

Eden shouldn't have eaten that time-stop cake. No, she shouldn't have trespassed the upper levels of the bathhouse, shouldn't have turned the corner to the sight of two devilishly sexy dragon gods doing dirty, dirty things. But she did, and now they're after her. And there's absolutely nothing she can do, except seduce them to distract them from their games.

***

As a low-levelled human staff, Eden knows her place at the bathhouse for the spirits and the deities, Ukiyo. The rules are simple. No looking, speaking or touching customers unless instructed to, and to never ever cross paths with any of the gods. But when twin dragon princes visit the bathhouse for a soulmate match-making event, Eden finds herself at their mercy.

The brothers are wicked and evil, and they love making Eden’s life miserable. She knows that she should treat her two elite customers as kings. But Eden cannot help seducing the gorgeous brothers as payback. Falling in love with them was never part of the plan.

For the twins, Eden’s off-limits, just another toy in their play. But the brothers cannot resist her, and the fire in their souls beg for a taste. Finding out that she's their soulmate is just greater proof that they are meant to be.

***The Bathhouse is a 95K word, steamy, standalone, completed reverse harem/ménage soulmate adult romance, filled with drama and angst. The twin dragon princes are soul bonded to a single girl. While the story begins with them as enemies, the dragon shifters are her destined mates, and thus they will quickly become lovers. This story involves MFM. The story has explicit content, and no cliff-hangers!

A little long and some parts are complex, but I loved it sooooo much
I wish for this author to write again and again ! But I am getting worried because no other book came out in a long time.
Does anyone has news on her well-being ?

I really didn't know what to expect with this story but I will tell you that I was pleasantly surprised.
This story had me imagining an adults version of "Spirited Away" by Studio Ghibli. A bathhouse for spirits, celestial brings, and gods; a human girl works there but in this case it's 2 dragon gods that she ends up having to serve during a weeklong soulmate festival. Little does she know these gods are not the type to make angry, but when she does just that they turn her life upside down only to discover that things are not always as they seem.
It's a steamy story and not just because of the bath-water. This story as a greater depth to it than most RH novels. I loved author showed the growth of all the characters-growth that was needed in order to save no only the relationship but each other. It was a great story and I look forward to reading more from this new young author.

This was the first book I read by the author and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!

Worldbuilding was good. We didn't really move around much (the whole story pretty much takes place in the bathhouse) but the author did a great job with describing the different locations. Let me tell you that this bathhouse is HUGE!

Character development was good. You can clearly see (well, okay, read) how Eden, Kaizel and Keegan grow and change throughout the book. They all have their fears and dreams and they feel real and believable (please just point me to the nearest bathhouse where I can find my own pair of dragons, thank you).

Pacing and flow were very good. It kinda pulled me in right from the start and I just had to keep on reading (yes, it was very late when I finished the book lol).

The book itself was well written and there were no (noticeable) errors.
Be aware that this is (very) mature content so there is a lot of sexual interaction going on.
That said, while I would maybe even stamp this as erotica, the scenes were well written and not too over the top if you know what I mean.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I can honestly say, well done! It intrigued me, wasn't over the top and had characters you just had to root for (after slapping them for their idiocy)!

A surprisingly emotional and well done erotic story

I have read another of this author’s books, “Tasting Your Honey”, and while I did thoroughly enjoy it, I see that book as a quick, steamy, insta-love erotica and I was expecting this to be much the same. I have, however, never been so happy to be wrong!

I do enjoy the bully-romance trope but I have a fine line of how far the bullying can go before I simply find the love interest(s) irredeemable. This got pretty close to it for me which had me worried for a moment, but I think the author did a great job with Kaizel and Keegan’s character development. This was one of the few bullying books where I felt that they truly understood the consequences of their actions, which subsequently made me actually believe in the sincerity of their repentance and feelings for Eden.

I also enjoyed the unique setting of the bathhouse and while it’s not a completely fleshed out world, it was enough for me to get on board with the story.

All in all, it was incredibly steamy (which is always a big plus for me) but it also delivers a solid plot and character development for the love interests. I really look forward to reading more by Emi!

Possible triggers: bullying

Key things to note: very descriptive sex scenes, no cheating

I love the world that the author built for this book, it was such a pleasure to read and experience. Emi's imagination is on a whole other level, from the details of the bathhouses to the minute details of the tastes and smells that the current character was experiencing. The story had a really nice progression and didn't seem rushed, all the way until its conclusion. I was immersed in this world and was only disappointed when it came to an end.

This book had the perfect mix of romance, betrayal, angst, passion and smut.

The fire was roaring from the first meeting unto the last, adding an extra dose of icy coldness to her situation and it was fantastic! I can't wait to read and see more of what this author will come up with in the future! Thank you for letting me into your world Emi- it was a joy as always!

Alright, this might be a little biased because I love the author and her writing style very much, but that doesn't change the fact that this book is extremely well-written. Her plots and the way she writes them is just wonderful.

Most of the book takes place in a bathhouse where the twin dragon princes who came down for a week-long soulmate matchmaking event and their shy but seductive human staff try to figure out the burning sexual tension that draws them to each other. Is it just sexual tension, or there's more to it?

The world-building was extensive and the characters came to life on the page, every character and scene just adds to the richly built plot, they aren't perfect and that's what makes them relatable especially the twins, they are gods but even gods are bound to make mistakes, the mistakes they make and the repercussions of those mistakes are surely heartbreaking but as they hastily try to make amends they know that they're heading for a heartbreak they just try to hold on for a bit longer through slipping time only to realize that one cannot escape the fate.

I love it, everything from angst to smut just fits in right and the ending makes up for the tears you're bound to shed while reading some parts. I’d recommend it if you like Erotic fantasy with angst.

The Dragons Bathhouse
by Lynn Kent

This book is a Reverse Harem book we have our FMC Eden and her soulmates the Dragon Princes. Follow this tale of 2 men afraid to find their soulmate, but meet her when they are sent to a soulmate festival as punishment for one prank too many by their Father the Dragon Emperor. This book takes us along as the princes finally mature but will it be too late? Will Eden be theirs or will the all die from the Dragon Soulmate Curse. Only one way to find out. Read the book. Well written, good well developed plot, very descriptive, a pleasure to read. Very Adult content. 3rd book I’ve read by Emi and the more she writes the better she becomes. A gifted author I hope to still be reading books from years from now.

I honestly loved this book not because it’s the height of literature or anything, but because it had the perfect balance of plot and chemistry to keep me entertained. It just worked.

It felt like reading a really well-written Wattpad book (in the best way). Super addictive, a little dramatic, and just easy to binge. I kept telling myself “one more chapter” and then suddenly I was basically done.

I loved the character dynamics so much everyone just clicked in a way that made it fun to read, and the angst?? yeah, it delivered. The tension, the emotions, all of it had me hooked. And the setting added so much to the vibe, it made everything feel a bit more intense and immersive.

Overall it was just a really fun, engaging read. Definitely the kind of book I’d reread when I want something entertaining and a little dramatic. I’d honestly love to own a physical copy.

This book is filled with so many emotions. I loved reading about Eden and her twin dragons. The world was rich and intriguing. The characters came to life on the page. The only thing that ever brought me out of the story was a small world building issue that annoyed me because "God" was a frequent expression used but it was coming from beings that were considered gods, so it didn't feel like it fit. Other than that, the book was excellent. This book may not be for everyone. The erotic side of it is a bit kinky and dark, but the end is satisfying and worth all the drama and heartache.

Emi has an imagination for the different. I found her from reading my soulmates are idols which I recommend. I am eagerly waiting updates for book 2. They are bigger books, whereas the bathhouse and honey books are smaller but still a great read. This story is how a human girl who has lost her family works in the spirit realm at a bath house for gods and goddesses. It is how she meets her dragon princes soulmates, the angst and problems they have to get through. I wasn't sure about it at the beginning but it is well worth reading.

The setting for this odd story is a bathhouse intended for spirits, celestial brings, and gods. A shy human girl, Eden, is part of the staff and is forced to take care of two dragon gods, Kaizel and Keegan, during a weeklong soulmate festival. Little does she know these gods are not the type you want to make angry, but when she does, they mistreat her. She decides to seduce them in return, not realizing that she is their soulmate! What will happen to her from here?

The characters are well-portrayed, very realistic, and the story line will draw the reader in from the start. Grab your copy and see what the future holds for Eden and her dragons.

I thought the beginning was a little rough. I’m certain the author didn’t want to get bogged down with too much world building, but there could have been more detail surrounding Eden’s situation. The story itself is delightfully different as is Eden but the twins were somewhat predictable. The story flowed fairly well and avoided getting bogged down in the places I thought it might. There are explicit sex scenes so be warned if you don’t like that kind of thing. My biggest complaint? I wasn’t able to finish it in one sitting - it was hard to put down.

The angsts in this book will definitely twist your heart. Might have cried a tear or two.

The agony the twins had to go through was painful, but they endured it willingly because of their love for her. It’s their repentance for the hurt they’ve caused her. I’m just glad that they still their happily ever after all these.

This book was hard to get into initially. There were grammatical errors and a lot of introspection that pulled me out of the story a bit. I didn't realize before I started the book that it was a bully romance, but I should have known based on the description (I usually avoid bully books). In general, this was a quick read that started out meh for me but was pretty good in the end.

Eden, Kaizel and Keegan were such a treat!

This is a paranormal romance with so much magic, love and stubbornness weaved through each page.

Eden is human, which is important to remember. She mistakenly comes across our twins and her life is forever changed.

The writing is engaging and the characters are easily likeable. We understand their motivations and root for them almost immediately.

didn't really enjoy this.... it read more juvenile then i thought? and even during the groveling period for the ml's.... i kind of feel like they should've suffered more? idk, i feel bad that for more than half the groveling, the fl was kind of tricked and didn't even know that the people tending to her bullied her. idk, the ml's were immature and then fl goes out of her way to forgive them, and it just wasn't for me.

This is 100% a guilty pleasure read, and has a lot of mature content. It's like the Spirited Away Bathhouse but rated XXX. I don't usually read bully romances, but the story drew me in. I did get a bit confused as to which twin was talking sometimes and I felt the ending was abrupt, but I couldn't put it down. The angst really had me tearing up. Also I really loved the character Seri.

4.75 ⭐️Love love love this book I began reading it in 2022 on Wattpad then the author stopped updating in 2023 (there’s 52 chapters now as of Nov24) so I bought the book. And lemme tell you I loved it!! It gave almost EVERYTHING apart from it being a little bit dragged out the ending was a rollercoaster of emotions and a whole headache but I loved it in the end.

I liked this book. It had a highly imaginative and wonderful world and a great plot line. There were parts that I thought could use a little spit and polish to bring it up to a five star, but overall a great read.

Me salió una recomendación en booktok. No decía si era bueno o malo, pero la premisa me intrigó.
No estuvo wow, y hay muchas partes en las que leer es muy frustrante, la fmc es estresante.
Pero es una lectura ligera.

I was pleasantly surprised by the story. Amy Ree's imagination in creating this world was so convincing. I could picture the bathhouse and the hustle of the people. The love/hate relationship was not forced. I loved how the story played out. I look forward to reading more by this author.
