I had a mixed reaction to this series. Book 3 was unsettling to me because, as you will see in the short review I included below, I find BDSM and all the “tools of the trade” thoroughly horrible, and to offer the use of these implements in Ben’s hidden room to a woman who had just had a devastating miscarriage felt way out of line and thoughtless. The titles included in this collection are: Book 1: Sundance; Book 2: Tennessee Bound; Book 3: Unexpected Journeys; Book 4: Triumph; and Book 5: New Horizons. Below is a review of one that I liked and one I did not like. Others may not have the same reaction I did.
*** Reviewing “BOOK 1: SUNDANCE” ***
This is Emma Pratt and Benjamin Grayson’s story. Emma is an innocent young woman who is being raised by her religious father. Benjamin is a wealthy and experienced older man. The two of them meet at the Sundance Film Festival, and it changes Emma’s life. She and Benjamin cannot seem to stay apart, their attraction obvious. She is curious by nature and has been wanting to explore the world beyond her hometown. He is drawn to her innocence and charm.
When Benjamin has to leave and invites her to go with him to collect an acquisition in Tennessee, will she have the courage to go with him? Will she have to battle with her father’s disapproval? And is she ready to discover a love she never dreamed of?
*** Reviewing “BOOK 3: UNEXPECTED JOURNEYS” ***
Emma Pratt sat in the emergency room, knowing already what the doctor was going to tell her. Her cramping had gotten worse, and the doctor confirmed her miscarriage. How would Ben react? They had lost their baby. He drove them back home. He really hated the silence, but she just went to bed without a word. He stopped briefly to see her, then left for the rest of the day. When he came back, she mentioned he was gone all day and he told her work had backed up and he needed to put time into it. Then he said he was exhausted and went to his own bedroom. The next week was more of the same.
She finally went to the stables and found him asleep in his office. She woke him and he noticed her bare legs and the high heels. And because they could not be intimate until she healed, he offered her other options – things they could do in his “playroom”, such as suspending her, blindfolded, and using a riding crop and a “safe” word if he hurt her!
I stopped reading when the BDSM portion began because to offer the use of these implements in his hidden room to a woman who had just had a devastating miscarriage was way out of my comfort zone.

Tempting Virtue: A Tale of Forbidden Desire is written by Ruby Blake, an author of romantic erotica. It is a great collection that consists of five books: Sundance, Tennessee Bound, Unexpected Journeys, Triumph and New Horizons.
After reading these pieces of work, my first impression was that the writing is absolutely wonderful! I always appreciate it in any book. I think sometimes this writing goes underappreciated, but it is such a vital component of a good story.
The author resorts to descriptive imagery that is very well portrayed in the different chapters. The characters are depicted in a way that they look real and make readers feel what they go through. The main protagonists won’t disappoint you since they undergo amazing adventures that would keep you glued to the pages until the end. The main characters are Emma, an 18-year-old girl and Benjamin, a 32-year-old man. The personal story of Emma in one of the books really tugged on my heartstrings a bit, so I would say there is definitely some emotional component.
There were some periods of slow development but nothing too heavy to bog down the story, and that is the reason why I will give them a 4-star recommendation.
Give it a try, you will not regret!

Five Scenes for the cost of One
Tempting Virtue: A Tale of Forbidden Desire, The Complete Collection Box Set (Books 1-5) is a hot sensual love storybook. I would guess that the dude lived a fairly sexually appetizing life and his sex thirsty little firestorm was madly in love with the sex sessions. Ben and Emma were meant for each other. Destiny placed it that way. For a preacher's daughter, she was "orally experienced", and Ben loved every minute with her.
It is somehow the typical boy meets girl story to me, but the lovemaking scenes were explosive. The characters were well described and to me, this book will make a great short series shows.
I think the author must be commended for the greatness of this book. A somewhat inexperienced young lady with an experienced older man seems like a great pitch.

This is a great five book box set that consists of Sundance, Tennessee Bound, Unexpected Journies, Triumph, and New Horizons. This series features Ben and Emma Grayson and is definitely a page-turner. She's younger, naive, innocent, and beautiful. He's older, wiser, wealthy and worldly. They met at the Sundance Film Festival and both were smitten. Their relationship has lots of turmoil and conflicts from outside forces, family dynamics, and yearnings. A world of BDSM, paternity suits, miscarriages, and more. Emotional, heartwarming at times and heartbreaking at others A good read that I read as a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Wow this collection gets so hot you may need a cold shower I absolutely could not get enough of these. I was hooked from the first page, great writing job, bravo loved it and if anyone is looking some steamy wonderful reads then add this collection to your list you will not be disappointed I was not I loved it

Enjoyed it all. Emma is Ben’s soulmate, but he has a difficult time giving into his change of how he sees himself. It takes Emma leaving to get him to acknowledge the love he has for her. This collection takes you from the first time they met to the happily ever after, with twists and turns.
