I really enjoyed this side story to the Havoc series. Afte the electricity goes out and things start happening, the people of the town trying to just "make it through" at first, many of them not seeming to realize things woud get worse. Shelby and Grant are expecting a baby and their neighbor has two little kids and her husband is out of town, so they band together to try to get through the situation. Then the situation goes from bad to worse with bad guys/thugs wanting to take over. Throughout the story Shelby's doubting in religion and God and then her slowly opening up as they struggled through the situation was a story I feel that many can connect with. A very gripping story. Although it is a standalone story, and is very readable as such, I would recommend reading the entire Havoc in Wyoming (Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the author.)

Havoc Rises

Just finished this book! Millie, I have been a born again Christian since I was 11 years old . Reading your books are so uplifting, I love that. The stories themselves really keep you riveted to the book.😊 I think I have read all of your books about the Apocalypse. So I am going to pray that your next book comes soon. Thank you & God Bless!

Every book in this series has been a joy to read and leaves me looking forward to the next installment. I've read a lot of books in this genre, and this series is making a good bid for the top spot!

A companion story to the series

This was a a good branch off story to the Havoc in Wyoming series. New characters are introduced that end of joining with the community of Bakerville.
It tells the story of the nearby town of Prospect. There are strong religious tones in this story along with suspense and romance.
