Being a chocolatier to the fairies had made Winfield a beloved member of the magical communities in Wiltshire, the land of Stonehenge. Even if the sheriff still suspects that she might have followed in her Grandfather’s footsteps as a smuggler. Sometimes she almost wishes she was, but her mother is constantly reminding them that as witches it’s their job to help insure the peace in West England. Things get better and tense when a college flame is transferred nearby to work with the sheriff that is constantly watching her. There there’s the murder in which her Grandfather quickly becomes the top suspect.
Great storyline but sadly a few pages into the book and I noticed some grammar errors then some sentences that needs editing so I decided to turn on text to speech, as was tired of highlighting the errors. Nice touch with the recipes at the end of the book.
Meet the creatures both big and small of Carrie lands. A wonderful adventure with plenty of magic and action. A chocolate making witch who is much more than she seems.
