Egypt has everything he’s ever wanted; a house in the hills, more cars and cash than he needs, a new girl for every day of the week and the keys to a multi-billion dollar drug cartel that’s been passed down for two generations almost in his grasp. His parents, Brax and East have spent most of his life making sure he understands that his destiny is to pick up the family legacy and continue to grow it and he’s perfectly fine with that. He’s young and living his life, enjoying the perks of being the heir to the cocaine throne without having to do too much of the lifting officially, until his younger sister, Elle, brings home her new friend Rhylan and changes everything. Rhylan is sick of being a good girl. Raised as the princess of Rhea, an internationally famous designer and Kenyan, a retired NBA star that’s broken countless state records, she’s never really wanted for much. However, she hasn’t really lived much either. With her father always keeping a watchful eye on her, Rhylan feels suffocated… until she meets Elle and Egypt, two siblings who are everything she’s never been allowed to be. She finds herself submerged in to their lives and is quickly partying, drinking and even having sex and she loves every second of it. Rhylan falls for Egypt quickly and besides standing up to her father, she may have to stand up to the law as well in this harrowing tale, proving just how hard good girls fall for dope boys too.
This was an okay story, Egypt kind of got on my nerves, he was a little over the top. Why make characters like Dessi who is delusional for no reason, how many ways does he have to disrespect you to the fullest for you to buy a clue. The main female character was kind of naive and annoying but likeable, Elle was definitely annoying with her confused tale, Bloom should have been left her alone, her giving his addicted father drugs because she didn't like that he was feigning should have been the icing on the cake. There were some grammatical errors, but what got me was the forgetting what you wrote previously, it happened a few times but the major one was at the end Blooms father died, but in the epilogue it says he cut him off. Better proofreading is needed obviously.
Born in chaos but found love! Egypt was groomed but his heart truly wasn’t into the game! At first I thought Malik had turned on the family! Glad Desi came to her senses and Jarrick was able to walk into his and find true love
