Former US Navy SEAL Walker Judge has nowhere to turn.
He’s a wanted man, a convicted murderer on the FBI’s ten most wanted list. The Hague wants him for war crimes committed in Jordan. England wants him for acts of terrorism against their queen. His unseen enemy has relentlessly produced enough false evidence to make Walker a pariah the world over. He’s not only taken Walker’s SEAL team, but his flag and his future. Walker has only come back to Florida to kiss America goodbye…

Junior Agent Persia Coltrane is falling apart.
In Florida for a much needed R&R, she’s besieged by nightmares that won’t end. Her nightly glass of whiskey no longer numbs the memories from her last infil into South America. She can’t eat, sleep, or focus. Until a breathtakingly beautiful man staggers out of the surf and drops to his knees on her beach. She can certainly focus then. Especially when he tips forward and reverently kisses the wet, packed sand. He didn’t just swim all the way from Cuba, did he?
That’s over a hundred miles…

Irish Winters

Growing up in the countryside of Wisconsin, I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. Way back when, I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they'd
tell us eight kids to, 'Look out the window and see something!'

I've been looking out the window ever since . . .

In the great Northwest pines, I saw a woman who had nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior seeking his own road to healing.
In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a broken man who thought he'd lost everything
rediscover the man he was in the eyes of a pretty girl.
And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people fall in love
and overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after.

Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy.
Look out the window and see something!

Walker is another marvelous addition to the In The Company of Snipers Series. It begins with a huge impact and never lets up until the very last word. Irish Winters has such fabulously detailed and emotionally charged stories that capture the reader’s heart that they stay with you for a long time afterwards, and Walker is no exception to this. There is just so much emotion in this story it is sometimes difficult to absorb. From human trafficking to betrayal at such high levels it is heartbreaking. Persia and Walker are so perfect for each other; it was wonderful seeing them get their HEA at the end...though that road was rough going. As usual, this was an action packed, edge of your seat roller coaster ride I didn’t want to get off of. Thank you for another amazing ride Ms Winters!

Oh Wow, Irish Winters has done it again, book 21 in the brilliant "In the Company of Snipers" series and just as much of a page turner as the previous ones.
When Walker Judge crawled onto an isolated beach off the Florida Keys after a marathon swim, little did he know that he was being observed by a beautiful woman and that his life was going to change forever.
The beautiful woman was black opps operative Persia Coltrane, who was dealing with her own demons but was going to play a huge part in Walker's life.
Walker, an ex navy SEAL was on the run, he had been set up for a hideous crime that he didn't commit, proving his innocence was practically impossible because the people involved were his senior officers and witnesses had been paid well to lie, Walker couldn't give an alibi without betraying a little girls trust.
As this story unfolds evil is uncovered, murder, bribery, cohesion but mainly the drugging and trading of young children to wealthy paedophiles, it was a lucrative business and one that the perpetrators were willing to go to any lengths to protect.
Enter the legend that is Alex Stewart and his brilliant TEAM, all highly trained ex navy SEALS who will take on any task and win, Alex has friends in the most unbelievable places, little did Walker know that Alex had his back.
This book is full of nail biting action and suspense and sizzling romance, it doesn't matter if you haven't read the previous book because the author has cleverly included the main characters and their stories. I can highly recommend this book.

Walker & Persia

This author writes the best books. This one shoots up above even her other books. If you are a fan of the series you'll get to see a lot of the TEAM (an elite team of ex-military) in action. The head of it all, Alex, is in the field and showing why he is the leader extraordinaire. Never worry, if this is your first book in the series you not only picked a great one, you'll get to meet a lot of the men, women, and even the families.

What begins as a man seeking to clear his name turns into...well, you'll need to read to figure out the why and who. I guarantee it will keep you reading to the last words. Not only is it a complex mystery with connections, important people, evildoers, brave amazing people, plenty of steam. Many of the characters are from the TEAM and SEALS as well as imaginary people with titles we recognize only adds to the pull.

I can tell you in the end you will...no I can't tell you that either but I will say you are gonna want to see the good guys win and lovers to make it. Doesn't seem possible sometimes. Sit back and enjoy. (Oh, you'll be scooting to the end of that seat soon enough.)

Walker: In the Company of Snipers Book 21
Irish Winters
In the beginning of every book is this simple phrase, “Love changes everything”.
Walker Judge climbed up on the beach, dropped down, and thought “Im HOME”
Little did he know this beach, this time, was more auspicious then he ever would have imagined.
Persia Coltrane was on vacation. A well-earned vacation. The former FBI agent turned TEAM Junior Agent watched as a very tired, hunk of humanity, peeled himself out of his wetsuit and managed to drip on her sand. Or so Persia told Walker.
Thus begins one of the most intriguing, exasperating, suspense-filled, sexy, military, romances I’ve ever read!
Why Exasperating you say? Walker and Persia are obviously attracted from “look one”. They had chemistry from that first word. They were drawn together like moth to flame, spider to a web. They took each others measure, and immediately discounted it. Not happening..
He’s got be Spec Ops, SEAL or Ranger she thought. Persia introduced herself immediately so Walker knew she was an Agent. But all Walker saw was a pure female body. She thought he’s too good to be true! But that was where both were so very wrong. This was so much more involved here..
Irish Winters has again written one barn-burner of a story that keeps you asking that answers that, but what happens Next? Keeps you turning the page just find out! Early , on you know these are two very complex, private people, with haunted pasts. They are America’s heroes, yet neither knows it. Both think the other is “too good to be for real” and “ there’s no way this is happening to me NOW!” She feels safe with him, and he can’t get her out of his mind. Is fate being cruel again? Is love just out for reach?
Irish unfolds this story like peeling a orange, giving you just a glimpse at a time, keeping you glued to the book. I highly recommend not starting until you have time to read it through. I will tell you Walker gets the girl in the end but the trip is very entertaining and road is one you need to read to believe! Love really does change everything!
I was given an to read ARC but the Review is all mine and freely given

Another great story by Irish Winters! I believe this may be her best book yet; five stars just isn’t enough! Walker made me laugh, cry, shout and sigh……..I hung on every word, every scene and hated that it had to end.

Walker Judge-former US Navy SEAL- who goes by the handle of Hotrod, gives everything he has for the love of his country, his brothers and sisters in arms, and now, the woman he feels undeserving of. He is a man of honor and integrity, yet he finds himself accused of killing a superior and charged. He is a convicted murderer and on the FBI’s ten most wanted list. Alone. Determined. Fighting for his life.

After the hundred mile swim of a life time, Walker ends up on an island in the Florida Keys only to find the grand prize-Persia Coltrane. Junior Agent Persia Coltrane- falling apart as she attempts to run from the memories of her latest infil. Whiskey no longer calms the nightmares that intrude on her sleep. Nothing does until she meets this incredibly hot man. Together they calm the storms of their lives, but can they weather through the pressures of past assignments and false evidence?

I thoroughly enjoyed that the TEAM all showed up and made a huge contribution to making Walker – and Persia- whole and on their way to good health. At times it was like a family reunion, getting to see the TEAM and their families, along with the surprises Irish throws in. It was great to look back on their past successes and how they managed to piece their lives into this wonderful family called the TEAM.

Walker (Hotrod) Judge and Persia Coltrane. What a perfect couple. Walker, a former Navy Seal, falsely accused of murdering his commanding officer and other treasonous crimes, swims ashore at Persia's private beach. Persia is there for some R & R after a particularly difficult covert operation. She wants to help him prove his innocence and from that point on, things get hot , steamy and dangerous. Walker's journey takes us from the Florida Keys, down the coast of South America, across the Atlantic to the Azores, then to The Hague where he is imprisoned, Ireland and Buckingham Palace. Alex Stewart and The TEAM are there to help Walker prove his innocence and to give him much needed moral support.

Walker, (In the Company of Snipers #21) is the perfect combination of romance and intrigue. With twists and turns and a few surprises on almost every page this is a "read straight through" book.

WOW! Just when you think this series can’t get any better in comes Walker and Persia.
Walker is a Navy Seal on the run. He’s been set up to take the fall for crimes he couldn’t possibly have committed.
Persia is taking a couple of weeks off after a particularly dangers and heartbreaking op.
She never expected to see a gorgeous man turn up on her beach.
One hot steamy night later he’s gone and so is the connection she felt with Hotshot or is it? She can’t forget....
Walker needs to find out who set him up and take them down. He can’t stay. The further away he runs the more he dreams of being back with Persia on their private beach.
Being caught was never the plan. Neither was being saved by the woman he left behind. Persia, Alex Stewart and the TEAM make it there new mission to save Walker and all of the innocent children at the center of Walker’s nightmare.

WOW!

Oh my....what can I say? I think every woman alive would love a Walker coming out of the ocean right in front if them! I pictured Daniel Craig coming out of the water in the Bond film. Mmm. Sorry, I digress. Anyways, Walker and Persia's story starts with quite the bang and takes us on quite the ride. Apart they may be a hot...mess, but together they are smoldering. This book contains a bit of everything and everyone, including an old codger you can't help but love. And it just goes to show that you don't have to be blood related to be FAMILY. Btw, I want to be Persia when I grow up, warts and all! Total girl crush here.

As usual, Irish entertains, informs and keeps us on our toes right up till the last page, leaving us wanting more. Walker is a definite book in my read again pile and is a must for anyone's who's looking for a fantastic book!

Walker has been dealt a crappy hand, accused of murder and left to be the scapegoat. Little does he know he has lots of people on his side willing to fight for him. It took a chance meeting with Persia, a TEAM operative, to make him realize that. Just like the other books in this series this is a standalone, each has a new couple, and plenty of cameos by other operatives. However as the story flows you get the big picture and quickly realize how many of the stories are related. There’s a lot of books in the series and I’ve only read maybe the last ten, but you can pick up anywhere and get lost in the action. My copy came through the author but my review was written voluntarily.

Just when you think you have read the best from Irish Winters....she goes above and beyond with Walker! Seriously! I have read every one of her books and this one was just one big surprise after another with so much action and suspense that I could not put it down!

Walker......the kind of guy you wish you would meet....and greet.....and....
Persia....the tough, sexy, but hiding a lot of hurt woman who snares his warm and confused heart.

Everything that I want to shout out about this book...I cannot because it will give it all away! Just suffice it to say that you need to read this and ....hail hail the gangs all here!

Irish Winters has the uncanny ability of writing the best characters I've ever read. I love how I can read her stories and find a part of myself in her characters. This is the best kind of author. She reels you into the story and makes you feel the emotions the characters are feeling at every turn!

Walker & Persia are both tortured souls that meet unexpectedly on a beach in Florida. Their stories are entwined by one sadistic son of a gun that was killed but his sex trafficking business still haunts them both. They fight their way out of the mire of regret and pain to find healing and love!

Walker and Persia

She was him coming sai out of the ocean. There was something special about him. He said his name was Hotrod he called her Princess. By morning he was gone. After the night the had. Persia had fixed him midnight breakfast and he left without a word. She should be angry but she couldn't get him out of her mind. Later Alex sent her and Izza to bring home a prisoner. On her way she was reading her ops print out. In the back there was a picture of the prisoner. Hotrod.
Very good story very exciting.

Wow ! I simply loved this book ! I have been a fan of Irish Winters series In the Company of Snipers from book 1 Alex , and as good as they’ve all been , to me no one has quite measured up to Alex until Walker ! The heartbreaking story of what he’s been through had me close to tears. Plus the twists and turns of the story kept me reading till I finished it ! So much emotion and suspense and evil and love in this story! Irish Winters at her best. Hope The Team’s stories never end !!!

Walker
Every time I think Irish Winters has wrote the best story, she fools me again.
This story had me on pins and needles. Who set Walker up? Will he see Persia again? Will she be able to get past the demons that haunt her? How is Alex involved?
These questions kept me going and having to know all the way through. Loved it!!!

Wow. Irish Winters hit this book out of the ball park with Walker. I always wondered what happened to Walker after last book.

I loved Walker and Persia together, they both met each other by chance when they both vulnerable. And come back together when Walker needs help, and Alex and Team come to rescue. They finally give in to each other.

I can't wait for more.

And she did it again

I love Irish Winters work. Always have, I honestly think she gets better with each book.
Walker, oh Walker.
This one got me in the feels just like Ky did.
Walker thinking noone wants, that the country he fought for, gave up on him, discovers Persia.
She shows him that she needs him, and there are some in his country, that certainly had not given up on him

This book shows that no matter what ugliness is going on in the world, men and women are in the shadows trying ther best to make it better. With the love and support of family you can over come all the ugliness and shadows and come out on the other side to sunlight and love. This book was given to me by the author for an honest review. My advise is to read it you will not regret it

Former Navy SEAL, Walker Judge, was a man on the run. He was convicted of a crime he couldn’t have committed, stripped of his honor, and betrayed by the country he so loved – America. He was tired of running and ready to right this wrong, even if he had to do it alone.
Persia Coltrane, former FBI agent and CIA operative, was the newest member of The Team. She’d just come back from a horrendous one-woman mission that left her scarred and in desperate need of peace. She was relaxing at her beach hideaway when a man walked out of the ocean….
The adventures begin! A well-crafted story that is difficult to put down. This may be my very newest favorite in the series.
