Be warned, these are not your sweet and clean Amish romances! Jack will not tolerate disobedience, especially when his history threatens to disrupt the Amish community. These three spicy Amish romances are now available in one collection Plain Passion, Restless Rumshpringa, and Simple Pleasures. Plain Passion Betsy wants nothing more in her life than marry Eli, and raise a family in the old ways. But she is surrounded by silence meant to bring her closer to the church, and yet is pushing her further away. The only one not silent is Eli, and he has a different way of dealing with undesirable behavior that make her feel submission in a whole new way. Restless Rumshpringa While her friends are out exploring the wild ways of the world, Katie obediently tries to stay within their Amish community. When her parents won’t let her have fun with her Rumshpringa time, she must choose between obedience and the restless callings of her soul. Simple Pleasures Jack Stein has had more identities in his life than he can remember. A childhood spent in the refuge of Witness Protection paved the way for a sterling career as a CIA agent. Now he's had enough of playing identities, and he buys a farm in Amish country to settle down. Ellie Yoder is everything he ever wanted in a wife, even down to her misdeeds that he quickly corrects. Jack will not tolerate disobedience, especially when his history threatens to disrupt this quiet Pennsylvania town with danger and intrigue. Publishers These previously published books are not for the faint of heart and contain power exchange.
This is a great compilation of stories of love within the Amish. Each book follows up with a different couple within the community.
Plain Passion 5* Eli and Betsy have been courting and Eli asks Betsy to marry him. But he wants to be certain that Betsy will be able to accept physical discipline from him when needed. He won't punish like many in the community by not talking. She accepts his discipline and they plan to marry. Betsy also has problems that her father will not allow her to visit her sister Ellie who has left the community and become Mennonite. Eli gives her permission, but once they are married. She defies him and her father and goes anyways. She gets strongly spanked for that. But, Betsy only feels love for him. The story is a good one and I enjoyed it.
Restless Rumshpringa 5* Katie is Eli's younger sister. She has still not made the decision to join the church as she feels restless and upset especially since one of her brothers died during his rumshpringa before he could enter the church. It is not the Amish way to grieve, but Katie does and feels judged for it. When Preacher Micah asks her to work in his house and take care of his two children, she says yes, but she still wants the freedom to go out on weekends. Micah and Katie gradually find they have feelings for one another, but again, Katie feels judged by the community. They eventually have their HEA.
Simple Pleasures 4* So this is the story of Betsy's older sister Ellie. I think it should have been the first story in the book. Ellie wants to be a doctor, but that is not allowed in the Amish community. She meets Jack who is retired Black ops. He bought the farm next door and when he meets Ellie, he knows that he wants her to be his wife. Ellie has a lot of big decisions to make.

Interesting setting. If you are in the mood for some naughty Amish stories then this is the collection for you. I have a number of Amish books and I enjoy them but too often there are a little too sweet. This collection is not sweet. It is about two families within the community. Now I would suggest you read the stories in a different order than how they are listed in the collection. Simple Pleasures is Jack and Ellie's story and it leads into Plain Passion where it is Ellie’s sister Betsy and Eli turn. Then move on to Restless Rumshpringa that is Micah and Katie’s story she is the sister of Eli. These tales interact with each other but they are stand-alone too. These books were a first for me using the Amish community as the setting. I enjoyed the books. I did have a problem with Ellie and Betsy’s “dat” not my favorite character and some of the Amish ideas a bit strange but it works for them. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
The Simple Pleasures anthology was an unexpected joy. The stories are very well written with great character development and well done story arcs. They are definite spanking stories. There is only fade out love scenes which I was not expecting. The transition from spanking to sex is usually one of my favorite parts of stories like these but the stories are really compelling with the power dynamics and the unusual setting of an Amish community those things make up for the lack of sex. The heroes are very much dominant males and you definitely get sexy shiver moments when they go alpha. This was a really enjoyable read.

These are super stories that give a glimpse of a usually closed community. I grew up around Lancaster, PA and the community is a large part of life. These tales explore the youth and what s expected. Each of them fine their HEA, although they go about it in different ways. I wasn't sure I'd like them, but the storytelling is very readable. I enjoyed them and will be recommending them for readers curious about the Amish but like a spicy side of spanking without explicit scenes that hide the story and growth of the characters.

I was delighted that this was not only sweet and clean but it is a real, hot and sexy read. Extremely well written and described with real alive rounded characters. I was slightly disturbed that Ellie's and Jack's story was at the end but it actually works better that way as it fills in the blanks in the other stories. There are lots of disciplinary spankings and sexy times as the couples learn to navigate their relationships. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. This is a very interesting, enjoyable and full story.
These 3 romances are well written and descriptive. They are primarily about discipline and the way it is administered to women by the men who love them. The main characters are related in some way and the stories are told from the female's POV. I liked them for the multilayered couples, depictions of Amish rules and dominant male theme. The spanking is graphic but the love scenes fade to black. Entertaining!

I read Nattie Jones' stories individually a decade ago. When I was reading a lot of plain jane, but with social issues, to Christian romances as part of an effort to better understand the Amish. I learned a lot about them, but ...
Basically these stories are DD in an Amish context and don't shed much light on how current Amish live in a modern world.
I do like Ms Jones' story / world crafting from other books, many of which may be out of print. She seems to have stopped writing, at least under this name.
Simple Pleasures Collection by Nattie Jones is a wonderful collection that I have read. I have never read anything by this wonderful new author for me to read but I definitely will now. These stories were a very enjoyable read for me and I loved them. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about contemporary romances.

Loved these 3 Stories set in Ohio Amish country. While the focus on love stories, they shoe the connection of family community and faith. They also show the Benicia and drawbacks of the simple life. The heat factor is very warm as there is spanking and domestic disipline.

It was a quick read. The heroine & hero had good chemistry. I liked how hero stands with heroine even after knowing the lie she said. Anyway, it was quick & good
